Nw Sewer & Drain

The estimator was on time, personable and provided me with a number of points about the situation that I had not thought of. I really appreciate this honesty. I appreciated that the company was very responsive to my calls and was able to do the estimate within just a couple of days and showed up on time. The estimate provided was very competitive but in the end I had to find a different contractor to complete the full job as it was more than a sewer replacement.

We had been experiencing waste water back up indicating a problem with our sewer pipe. Called NW Sewer to help evaluate problem and get a bid for the work. Good response time. Was able to obtain a bid within a few days of my initial call. I got multiple bids and this bid was the most competitive. Spenser did a good job of explaining the problem and showed me on video what the problem was - a cracked sewer pipe. Unfortunately the break was under the concrete floor in my basement. NW Sewer only does the repair work and does not deal with carpet - but that is stated up front. The repair work included removing part of the concrete floor, repairing the pipe, doing additional adjustments to ensure the pipe had the appropriate slope including modifying the opening where the pipe exited out of our foundation, adding an accessible cleanout, and filling in area (including new concrete patch on floor). The crew worked clean and I felt minimal disruption. When the work was done, Spenser followed up to make sure things were ok. Not a fun project for me, but NW Sewer made it easier and I would use them again.

We originally bought a Big Deal for a clean-out of the drain. We had had blockage in the past and thought we would do a preventive clean-out. When the technician arrived he found the pipe clear, so instead of cleaning it out he did an exam of the whole pipe, This Big Deal turns out to be money wasted, even though the technician was trying to be kind by examining and reassuring us about the pipe. The "Deal" lasts only a few months, so one cannot buy it and save it until it is needed. And if one has a blocked pipe, one can hardly wait for months on end until the next Big Deal should be offered. If you wash a load of clothes and find your laundry room flooded and--lo and behold--there is a Big Deal on offer that very day, snap it up. Otherwise, forget it.

Great. They came quickly, did a great job and the tech was very professional.

The service person showed up on time, evaluated the work and went down to work right away. It took him 1hr to complete (longer than I expected) and gave me a detailed description of the what the problem was and how to prevent it in the future. Although I asked to provide me with a long term solution, he said it wasn't necessary if we manage to comply with his recommendations. I would definitely use them the next time we have a similar problem and recommend them to others.

It went well. The person that came out was very knowledgeable.

It went great, provider was prompt and communicated clearly when we ran into some collapsed pope that needed to be dug up. They came out when they said they would, did what they said they would, and performed first class work. I would use them again.

They open my clogged drain and they showed up on time. Their price was real good because of the Angie’s List deal. They were courteous, professional and they knew what they were doing. The work turned out good and they were friendly.

They were great. They didn’t try to sell my anything, they were helpful, and they liked my cat. Luckily they didn’t have to tear anything apart to get to the drain.

This company was fabulous. Scheduling was easy and professional. Showed up on time and very friendly. They took the time to explain everything to me. This is a reputable company that I would most definitely use again.

Everything was fine and we received the service right away. They did call back indicating they needed to charge for sales tax.

They identified the blockage issue, indicated that they had the equipment to Hydroblast the blockage but that it was not the best solution ( it might work ). Another company had suggested to me Hydroblasting at a high cost and no guarantees. NW Sewer referred me to a professional who could guarantee a solution ( manually removing the blockage ) and did solve the problem at a reasonable cost. They could have tried a long shot with the equipment they had and charged me but they did not , they recommended the proper solution and I am thankful for that. Very good company I would use them again

The drain now works great instead of water from the downspouts spilling onto the ground (and neighbors property).

It was fine. They did a good job. They were better then previous companies that have done the job in past.

Everything with the service turned out fine. Two employees came out and there were no issues with the sewer after the video inspection.

It went very well. They were very responsive in getting someone to us that day. The service person went above and beyond what others had done in the past and showed me a live scope of the side sewer. During this demonstration, he explained what was happening in the side sewer and made some very reasonable explanations. I really appreciate the hard and good work they provided.

They did an excellent job from scheduling to the knowledge of the technician.

I returned home from a trip a few weeks ago to discover that all the drains in my house were running slow and gurgling. My first thought was that the septic tank was full, so I called the septic company. They came out and pumped and cleaned the tank, but the drains still gurgled so I had them come out again the next week to unclog it. They made a good effort and didn't charge me extra (they had to come out to install a lid on the tank anyhow), but that apparently didn't do the trick because the drains started gurgling and backing up again a week or so after they came out. In a panic, I searched Angie's List for a plumber and ended up calling NW Sewer and Drain. They were able to squeeze me in the day I called (today), which was a huge relief to me since I had the day off work anyhow and had already taken time off for the septic services over the past few weeks. When they came out, they quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to unclog the drain by going up on the roof and using a camera and water jet to clean it out. He told me that the pipes looked good and I should have no further problems (at least due to this particular clog) . They cleaned up and put everything back the way it was and then left. These guys are great! I'm a very happy customer.

Excellent 1) Came as scheduled 2) Used camera as promised and identified blockage. 3) Suggested I use another service more appropriate to clear the blockage. 4) Recommended an excellent service provider to cure the problem. This is an excellent company who works to solve the problem not sell services.

We purchased the Big Deal for the Hydro jetting of sewer line from NW Sewer and Drain. Jennifer was quick to respond in scheduling an appointment for the following Friday. We have had drain issues due to roots in our sewer line in the past and noticed that things were running slow which was our initial reason for buying the deal. Three days later we actually had a back up and small leak so I called to see if we could possibly get our appointment moved up if there was a cancellation. Jennifer was once again extremely helpful in rearranging and said that the owner Spencer would come out that evening after his appointments to check things out. Spencer and Ryan showed up and stayed until after 8:00 that evening, hydrojetting the line, removing the roots causing the problem, and then when noticing that we were in the midst of a patio install in back they suggested that we go through the clean out line in the back to make sure that before our cement patio was poured the lines were clear and without issues. They gave us a deal on the price being that they were already at the house doing the work in front. We found out that our original clean out drain was no longer accessible - so they went through the toilet and indeed the camera showed tree roots in the back sewer lines as well. Before the rest of the cement was poured for the patio, they suggested having the pipe lined, or at the very least, the hydro jetting scheduled in the back. We decided to go with the lining of the sewer line, to prevent future issues since the lines were directly underneath the planned patio. We also had a new clean out installed being accessible outside instead of inside. Even though this was an expensive, unplanned purchase for us, we feel we got an exceptional deal, and are so very impressed with Spencer and his crew. Spencer was honest, up front with costs and did not pressure us to decide one way or another on the work he suggested, even saying we could get estimates from varying plumbing companies before deciding on having the work done. Contacting Jennifer the following day, to see when we could get the sewer lining scheduled, she went above and beyond to see that we were able to get it done without disrupting the planned schedule for pouring the cement the following Monday. I cannot say enough about NW Sewer and Drain. We will definitely use them again in the future, and highly recommend Spencer and crew for any plumbing issues!

I had the most fabulous experience with this company. This is the first time I have had to have someone come out to address a sewer problem so I checked Angie?s List for reviews and contacted a couple of people for suggestions. I was on a rather tight budget so I was really trying to get my money?s worth and I am the type of person who likes to understand my options to make sure they make sense. I followed a couple of leads that didn?t work out and ended up having a different company come out and try to clear the line. They removed some roots but did not succeed in clearing the line and said we would need to put in an exterior cleanout for which they provided an estimate. They were not willing to jet from the inside in order to clean the line due to the risks inherent in that process. At that point I thanked them and got back on the phone and called this company back to see if they might be able to come give an alternate estimate on the exterior cleanout. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Ryan and he did a great job at answering all of my questions. He quoted us a really great price to have two guys out to use water pressure to clear the line from inside our home. I was still nervous about this option since more than one competitor had told me that this was a risky business. So I contacted Ryan again and he explained the great care they take to avoid those risks and he made a lot of sense. Their schedule was really full but their receptionist was always really easy to reach and she managed to fit us in sooner than I anticipated for a smaller company. I scheduled them the following day and they were able to successfully clean massive amounts of roots out of the entire line which we could watch via the camera screen. They ended up needing to use additional equipment but did not charge us. They then left us with an estimate for installing an exterior cleanout that was less than half of the one given by the other larger company. The men were pleasant, honest and seemed extremely prudent and knowledgeable. I took a risk on this company, not knowing anything about them other than what was on Angie?s list and hoping that Ryan was giving 12me the straight story and I can?t be more pleased with the service I received.

They were excellent in every way. He's very professional. All I know is I've learned more about my house by him being there than anyone else.

Our sewer backup up on Sunday morning, backing into a toilet and tub and also causing dripping to the floor below (luckily into a mostly bare cement garage area.) We were desperate to get some help out right away. Spencer responded to our message very quickly, and help talk us through the issue to decide whether we absolutely needed service on a Sunday, which would be more expensive. He helped us decide we could wait till the next morning, as the damage was already done, we just had to avoid using the plumbing for the day (so we spent all day out of the house). Spencer and his team came early on Monday, they took care of the blockage problem and took the time to video carefully and explain what major repairs needed to be done to avoid further problems. He was also kind enough to adjust the price down since we had already removed the toilet ourselves to try to (unsuccessfully) snake the blockage. Overall excellent job, very professional, punctual and courteous team!

Overall a positive experience despite concerns that the service provided did inspections as well repair services. Felt the inspection was honest as proof by no marketing of service occurred during or after inspection.

From the beginng I was impressed with N.W Sewer & Drain, I contacted Jennifer through the messenger service/phone and she immediately replied to any questions I had. As I was getting bids for the project, I had one plumbing company tell me trenchless piping wouldn't work in my situation and it would cost approximately $10,000. I needed to get my pipes replaced right away and contacted Jennifer to see if I could get someone to give me an estimate. They sent Ryan over the same day and he located the damaged pipe with a very up to date video (larger /clearer screen)inspection and told me he saw no reason why trenchless piping would not work in my situation. He gave me an estimate about $4,000 less than the other plumbing company and estimated a 3 day completion. . I was happy about the difference in price and Ryan explained the reason: they would not have to dig up my whole driveway. After I signed the contract, an opening came up early, the next day. The crew worked under very hot weather and accomplished the task in the 3 day estimate. This is a very professional company and highly recommend.
