Darrell's West Coast Construction is dedicated to customer satisfaction. From the start, he was responsive to feedback and did everything necessary to meet our expectations. In the end, he did more. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done. His crew (Craig & Tim) were a pleasure to have around. They are solid professionals. Poured concrete for corner posts and set brackets. Set posts and beam. Attached ledger boards to existing beam on the house. Attached rafters to ledger board. Hung lowered beams on both ends (for hanging flowers). Attached 2x2 grid above rafters. Attached tinted clear poly roofing panels. Rafters were cut with pergola style. Painted to match house. Concrete was leveled and covered with "Restore."

He did a wonderful job and it looks great! We will definitely use him again!

He worked with his men to get the job done in the time constraints I had given him. Always called to tell me if they were coming and when. Called if they would not be there or would be late. Very considerate. Went the extra mile in trying to get the old railing to look new and add or change what needed to be done to make it so. When considering the kind of decking we wanted he and his wife, met me at the place where he gets his materials and also came to the house several times to discuss the project. They were willing to make last minute changes to the design without hesitation. Easy to work with.

Exceeded expectation in every area. Could not be more pleased with the outcome of every project. We have already had them do a new project; Making a screened porch, putting in door, building new steps & railing from porch to yard. It's great so much better than I ever dreamed.

The contact went very well. Response time from my initial call for an estimate was very good. He had to work with the tenant to arrange a time to perform the estimate, and then arranged for a start time for the project.

Darrell was able to start demolition of the facia, siding and soffits within a few days. New siding, soffits, and facia were installed first. We asked for help choosing the color of the paint and Darrell and his wife Heather were very helpful. The house was painted the following week. As in most construction jobs, things came up. We needed to have a new front door installed and Darrell did the installation and painting of that too. He also recommended putting in a motion sensor light above the garage door since there were live wires there anyway and installed that to coordinate with the front porch light. Darrell and his crew were courteous and the work was done quickly and neatly without too much interruption to our tenants. I was impressed on how they cleaned up the worksite and did not damage any of the plants in the flowerbeds. His quality of work was excellent. I would definitely use him again if another painting, siding, or construction need came up. It was a pleasure working with Darrell and his wife.

Prep work included covering all windows and doors, Protecting plants and landscaping, and patio.

Went quickly once the work started. They even identified and fixed another problem we had with a differently part of the house.

They are very responsive and came out when they said they would. I am not sure if there are prices are in line or not. They showed up on time. They have a positive demeanor, they are respectful of a residence, they are professional.

Hire them! I want everyone to know that I did not know Darrell and Heather before this job they did for me. My review is true and accurate. I am beyond pleased with my experience with them and hope to hire them many times in the future. I have already recommended them to friends and family and they are starting a shower remodel for a friend of mine very shortly.

I first found them on Angie's List to do a small job in our crawl space and was happy with the result they did from that job. So, I asked how much it would cost for them to do my downstairs bathroom. They asked me several questions, did some measurements, and I showed them the upstairs bathroom floor so the had an idea what floor type and color I wanted. After that we emailed back and forth, discussing mainly the floor as my husband was thinking of heated flooring. We asked for advice too and we decided not to do the heated floor as it was too expensive and opt to do the plywood (my brother's advice). I sent pictures of vanity top/sink and faucet that I wanted and told them where I found it. I trusted them to pick the vanity and faucet for me. They arrived shortly after the appointed time on Friday and worked all day, then came back the next day to finish up the project. They were very considerate about cleaniness as they put drop cloth to protect my carpet and cardboard outside to protect the toilet they took out to do the flooring. I was very pleased with the result of the project and how they cleaned up after themselves. The faucet was just a little different from what I wanted but they picked a very nice one which I'm pleased with. One additional thing I want to add was they were willing to help me by taking out the "behind/above toilet cabinet" and put it back after they were done with the job.

My house was in dire need of an exterior paint job. I called four firms recommended on Angie's List. One wasn't able to do it until well into next year. The other three said they'd be by to give me an estimate. Of those, West Coast Painting was the only one to actually show up, and on the day they said they would. Darrell gave me a reasonable estimate, considering how much prep work there was to be done. He and his crew arrived on they day they said they would. He had it completed in 3 days. They gave a lot of attention to the prep work. He painted it exactly the color I'd decided on. They had missed painting a couple of trim details, and he couldn't come back the next day because he had another job in Ellensburg. He said he be back to fix it as soon as he could. It was fixed while I was at work in just a few days. the finalprice was very close to estimate. I'd highly recommend this firm. I'm planning to call them for some future tile work.

Darrell, Heather & Craig arrived on time and had all the materials needed for the railing project. We were very happy that they were able to squeeze in the other tasks and finish in 1 (long) day. They were a pleasure to deal with and did a great job!!

Overall we were very satisfied. We would hire them again.

everything went great ,they were fast and very thorough in their workmanship. i can't wait to see how the kitchen turns out.

I was having problems with water going into the crawl space. It took a while to figure out what the problem was and ruled out city water and irrigation system. A friend came and noticed there was no ventilation in that room, and I was advised to take the old carpet out (former owners put them in) as it was a mold trap. I used Angie's List to find a company and chose this one as they got a lot of good reviews. I was impressed with their knowledge and explanation on what they would do. They did a great job. They were very patient with me as a deaf customer and was willing to write down what to say and explained what they would do. I felt they offered a good price to get the job done. The original plan to was put in two vents but they changed it to one large vent and took $50 off the estimated price. I will definitely ask them to come back...in fact, I have already asked them for estimates for one bathroom and my deck. If the price is good, I'll definitely have them come to do the jobs.

Darrell and Heather showed up on time as scheduled and finished job on schedule. They took personal interest in our project and provided excellent advise on colors, methods and tile. They even stopped painting when original color selected did not look right and shifted to other part of job until a paint replacement was delivered. In addition they returned one evening after another job and worked until 9:30 to do another small tile job we wanted them to do .

Very well, they did an outstanding job in every way.

He did several things because we're seniors. We were very impressed with him as a person. We were very pleased. He was punctual. He worked fast, but he did quality work. We were just extremely impressed with him. We referred other people to him. We would recommend him to anyone who wants quality work done at a reasonable price. You know the job will get done in a reasonable amount of time. I would have him back if we need anything done. He built a beautiful deck. We thought that was going to put us over the price. He was right on the ballpark of the money we set aside.

I sent an email to D's West Coast Painting and Construction over the week-end. By Monday Darrell had called me and asked what repairs I thought were needed. They arrived on Tuesday when he said he would. They replaced the entire door to include the door frame and jamb. There was dry rot in the floor of the entrance to the home. They ripped out the area which had dry rot and replaced it with good quality materials. They also painted the new frame and door. The attention to detail and the desire to do quality work were evident in everything that was done. And he cleaned up the entire area after he was done. Not one bit of trash or debris was left behind for me to clean up. The estimates were fair and honest. The work was completed in a quick and timely manner. I would do business with Darrell and Heather again.

We originally call Darrell in to give us a bid on a couple of rooms in our basement (additions) and while he was here we had a shower problem with tile and plumbing leaking. He was absolutely ready to get started right away. We did the tear out of the existing shower walls and Darrell and Heather were here the next morning ready to work. The bathroom was done very quickly and very nicely. After the bathroom was done, we had them give us a quote on the rooms downstairs. we have worked closely with them and the bathroom addition in the basement is almost complete. We are very excited about this job done before the holidays and there is no doubt that it will be done in the next few days. Hire them with confidence.

I am very satisfied with them. They have been very pleasant and patient.
