 + 1 moreJose came the day after I called and performed all of the work professionally, efficiently and thoroughly. Just as with the previous job, I found Jose to be very knowledgeable, personable and completely reasonable about everything. He is always very punctual.
Description of Work: Mowing a difficult "lawn", weedwhacking, cleaning out overgrown beds, hauling away LOTS of branches from trees which had been taken down/limbed. I havealso used his services in the past to make new beds, dig up old small trees and bushes and plant new ones. I had Jose independently choose what he was going to plant and he did an excellent job!

 + 0 moreWhen I was calling around for bids on the job Luis showed the most interest in the job. He enthusiastically showed up to bid on the work within an hour of speaking with him. He was easy to work with, honored his quote and got the job done a couple days earlier then expected.
Description of Work: Luis and his team did a tremendous job transforming our backyard in a short timeframe. They removed a tree, three stumps, pruned a very large laurel tree, weeded the side and backyard, laid sod and gravel. The work was done in a professional manner over two days at a fair cost. I would rehire Luis in a heartbeat for a landscaping project.

 + -1 moreJose came and gave me a bid to trim hedges. He told me that he could get to the job in two weeks. Which was a longer lead time than I wanted, but relunctantly agreed. I requested that he call me the day before to confirm the time his crew would arrive. I did not receive a confirming call. When I called the him the morning of the agreed upon date for work to begin he advised me that he wouldn't be available to perform the work until the following week. That would make it three weeks out from our original meeting. It's not acceptable to schedule work and then be a no show. I would not recommend this company.
Description of Work: No service was performed as this contractor did not keep his appointment to do the work.

 + -1 moreBeautiful job. What a difference one visit made in the appearance of my front yard. Jose called me back promptly to schedule a visit to estimate the number of hours. We scheduled for a week out and he called the day before they arrived to do the work. They arrived promptly and performed vast amounts of work in a relatively short period of time. AMAZING!! We have already arranged for Jose to do some extensive work on my Mother-in-Law's yard.
Description of Work: My front yard was a JUNGLE! Jose and his crew cleaned out all the flower beds, mowed & edged, & raked everything.

My only issue was timing. We had cross-communications over what I expected, but then he was able to move enough around to meet what I had expected. That's great customer service.

 + -1 moreThey worked incredibly hard, paid attention to little details like transplanting some ferns that were overgrown in an area, and now our yard has never looked better. Very professional and polite, too.
Description of Work: Jose at Yanes and his worker did a whole yard cleanup on our 1/4-acre lot. It was a mess with wind debris throughout and many weeds. They raked, weeded, pruned, mowed, edged, blew, transplanted some plants and hauled away all the yard waste.

Description of Work: In the front yard they removed several old overgrown shrubs, pruned others, dug out and removed a 33 year old rhodie that didn't survive last winter. Leveled everything out and put down newspaper (at my direction) covered with fresh bark. In the back yard they put down cedar chips along one side and newspaper and bark along the other side.

 + 0 moreJose Yanes and his crew performed a minor miracle on my overgrown jungle of a yard (front and back). Jose arrived at the appointed time and went over with me what I wanted done, and then gave an estimate. I found it hard to believe that he could do all that I wanted for the price -- but he did. The work began a week after we met, and over the next day and a half Jose and his crew totally transformed my garden. The extensive pruning was done expertly, the beautiful bark was laid down beautifully, and all of the yard waste (three large truckloads) was hauled away. I am very pleased and grateful to Jose and his crew for a superb, professional job at a very fair price. Jose is a good man who does superb work.
Description of Work: Complete garden cleanup of front and back yard; pruned large willow tree and laurel bush; laid down bark, weeded, mowed and edged lawns, removed extensive amounts of ivy.

Answered our call the next day and started work on time completing project as promised in two days. Cleaned up spotlessly after work-- AND mowed and edged the front lawn without being asked!
Description of Work: Trimmed all ground cover evergreens to natural shape edges, sculpted two holly shrubs, trimmed and removed encroaching bushes, raked leaves and cleared last season annual stalks, spread bark mulch over 5000 sq ft of front gardens. Added additional height and length to natural rock retaining wall and backfilled with top soil.

 + 0 moreJose was great. He came out to the house the same afternoon that I called. After going through the whole yard and talking about want needed to be done he gave me the estimate. I agreed and he got started right away. They came back and finished the next day. By the time I got home my yard looked absolutely amazing. They did a great job, everything was completely clean. Jose also gave me an estimate for putting down bark on the landscaped areas and he will be coming back to do that work next week.
Description of Work: I had let my yard get extremely overgrown and needed to have all the bushes trimmed, some dead trees/bushes removed, all the weeds cleaned out and the lawn mowed.

He showed up on time, had good recommendations on what we should do, and came out the next day to do the work. He did a phenominal job, he did not miss a single detail. He was able to make decisions on his own. He took out 3 trees that had grown too close to the house, trimmed another large tree, tons of weeding, bush and tree trimming, cut the grass - basically everything our yard needed. Price was great, especially for the quality of the work done.

 + -1 moreIt all went very well. Sightly later start than I expected on the first day but smack on time the next two days. After discussing the projects, I appreciated that they weren't calling me for further instructions every few minutes.
Description of Work: Jose came within a day of my call to walk through the approx. 2000 .sq.ft. ( in three different sections) of overgrown blackberries, junipers, tree suckers and just plain tall and thick grassy weeds. He gave me an estimate plus whatever I wanted to spend on the bark. He told be it would be about a week and a half, and he was true to his word. He and his helper cleared right down to removing stumps and suckers left by previous maintenance services. They trimmed back a tree that was hitting the roof. Most astoundingly, they got rid of the bamboo! We had discussed leaving a few things which they did. The clean up was thorough. We decided to bark only the front parts of the yard. As soon as I decide what to do in the now open areas, Jose will be my first call for shrubbery planting.
