Jose and his team always come through for me. They were out here with little notice and completed the job just the way I was hoping that it would go. I truly appreciate what Jose and his team do. I've been working with them for years now for both my regular service as well as any projects that I've wanted done at the house.

Jose was very professional and we felt that we were in good hands right from the start. We hadn't done much landscape maintenance over the last couple years so things were overgrown and looking bad. Jose knew exactly what needed to be done to improve the curb appeal for selling our house and accommodated our quick timeline to get the work done. The price was comparable to the other quotes we received and seemed fair for 2.5 days of work. Everything turned out great! If we weren't moving out of town we would definitely use Jose again for our landscaping needs.

Jose responded promptly to my request for an estimate, was able to quote me a price to do the work immediately after doing a walk-through of my large, sloped yard during which I was able to discuss in detail what I needed to have done, what was important to me and my expectations. Similarly, Jose was able to impart to me his general approach to jobs and the kind of instructions he will give his crew. I told him I was flexible on when the work would be done and how many days it would take in the event he needed to work partial days. It ended up being performed over the course of 3 days. Since I could not be at the house during the day when he and his crew were doing the job, I had to try to get home while there was still daylight to see how the work was going. It was helpful to be able to meet with Jose the second morning to go over some key details again and talk to him about adjusting some of the work done the previous day. It was a good opportunity to let him know I wanted him to trim certain shrubs back more severely even though I knew it would leave bare spots temporarily. He was a little more conservative about pruning on the onset as I suspect many property owners are concerned about the landscaping looking "filled in" even after pruning. We spent a time talking about which trees would be pruned radically and lowered for neighbor view issues, and which ones I wanted to be slightly shaped and minimally lowered while maintaining the natural shape. All yard debris was hauled away, and ground cover was trimmed away from my large decorative rocks. His crew did a good clean-up job and I am very satisfied with the work.

Courteous, responsive, professional, and a job very well done. Very reasonable pricing (for an 8 unit complex). We're very happy with this work, and would happily recommend Jose's company and will continue to use Yanes for our yardwork.

At the time we got the quote, it is about cleaning up the yard, getting new grass in the bold spot and regular maintenance. We agreed on the 600 for the one-time fee, and $100 for twice a month maintenance work. However, Oliver and his fellow never shows up after they took the $600. After all, I still have one spot that has no grass in my front yard. I tried to call Oliver multiple times, left messages but no reply. At last, I left a voice mail saying I'll look for his insurance, he finally returned my call. He said he thought we were just talking about the one-time yard cleaning work(regardless of how many text messages I sent to him to ask why he didn't come for regular maintenance). At last, he agreed to return me half of the amount on a Friday. And then, as expected, he never showed up on that Friday, and no phone pick-up or message reply as well. My mom couldn't bear the terrible status of my yard, so she tried to do it herself and hurt herself. I felt very disappointed about this company because of the owner's lack of responsibility and dishonesty.

This is maybe the 4th or 5th time we've used Jose's services. His crew is always punctual, fast, courteous, and they clean up afterward and haul away all debris. This was a big job as we have a large front yard that has flower beds around the entire perimeter; we also have a very large front slope area on the street side. Despite having weeded everything in September, we came back from vacation on 10/1 and saw that the weeds had really gotten out of hand. Before having the chance to work on them, both my husband and I got very sick which meant nothing was touched for another month. I texted Jose, he came out the next day, gave me a quote we could agree on, then his guys came yesterday (we had quite a bit of heavy rain so I'm sure they were waiting for a break there!), and in five hours, two men transformed my sad looking weed garden back to my pretty flower beds!

This is the second time I've used Yanes. Both times Jose was prompt to respond to my requests, provided fair quotes, and his crews did an outstanding job delivering based on my request. We have two lawns (totalling about 1000 sq ft) where they mowed, edged, aerated and seeded. They then weeded the planters around the lawns as well as around the house and along the fence lines. They also trimmed/shaped the bushes in the planters. Everything looks excellent. I wasn't home to meet the workers this time but did see them on their first job - they were professional and answered all of my inquiries. I felt that Jose's crew did more than I asked with the weeding - it was more thorough than I had expected. That was a pleasant surprise and shows their attention to detail. HIs pricing is very fair.

I called Jose on a Saturday & he came out to my house for review on the same day. He gave me a solid quote and he began the job on the following Monday!! I had bought the house a year earlier and one side of the house had not been maintained. A lot of over growth. This was a very labor intense job. Jose's crew was prompt & professional. ALL debris was cleaned up & hauled away. What an amazing transformation!! The end result exceeded all my expectations & the side yard now looks BEAUTIFUL! I would not hesitate in calling Jose again for any future work. Thanks Jose, you R-O-C-K !!

Jose responded right away to my request for an estimate to remove a large concrete bed in my yard. He came out, gave me a fair estimate and I agreed on the spot. A couple of weeks later a crew of 3 guys came out with sledgehammers and went to work. They were courteous, professional and detail oriented. Even though this kind of demolition work was not what they usually do they really put care into doing the job right. I was very happy with the result and they cleaned up well before they left. I would hire Yanes again in a heartbeat.

The owner called and asked how it was and without looking said it was fine. When I went to look at what they had done was very upset (see previous statement). The load of bark was in a little Toyota truck that didn't really hold a full load of bark. Therefore, the bark was very very thin - needed a lot more.

all.Went really well, the yard looks a million times better. I went with Jose despite a ~50% higher estimate because I felt that it was a reflection that he better understood the scope of the work I was asking for and therefore he would do a better job I think I made the 100% correct decision.

It was solid work really well performed within the time frame provided in the estimate. I'm very satisfied and glad that I gave them a call!

Jose and his crew were very punctual, and were polite and courteous. Jose repeated all the arrangements, so there was no misunderstanding, and worked around my schedule to complete the work. The finished product is exactly what I desired. I will use this company again if and when it's necessary.

The owner responded to my request for an estimate within hours. He came to the house, gave me an estimate and said it would be a week or two, depending on the jobs he had scheduled already. That was fine. As promised, he called a week and a half later and let me know his crew would beat my place on Tuesday. The crew arrived about 11:30 and started work. They worked until 3 PM and then left with the truck full of branches and yard waste. They returned before 8 AM the next day and completed the work around 1 PM. There was a minor miscommunication about an area that got bark that shouldn't have. My fault for not being clear.It was corrected immediately and to my satisfaction. They cleared any residual bark and debris from walkways, other paved areas and the deck. I noted after the left that a brick edger along on planting bed that had been buried in moss the past two years was now clean and visible. They did a great job.

NO SHOW, NO CALL for a bid/estimate! I called him a couple days prior, then he called me back and left a message saying I could text him. We exchanged text messages. I gave him the address and a description of the job (hedge trim) via text. I told him Sundays or Mondays would be the best time for me to meet with him, he said he would come out Monday 2-23-2015 between 9-10 am. I gave him until 10:30, then gave up. No, I did not call him, if he doesn't have respect enough to show up at the agreed time or even the decency to call, I will NOT chase him down! Yes, I'm po'd! I have a job that needs to be done and going through the process of finding a reliable contractor is time consuming. My time is valuable too!

Crew worked diligently. They left no piles around and hauled away everything. Did a great job with trimming though a couple of plants were over trimmed that was my fault for not being specific enough. Any specific or detailed instructions I gave they did follow very well. I especially appreciated that they showed up when they said they were going to and were very quick to respond to any questions. I will hire them again.

I was so impressed with their work, it went excellent. I have used him twice now and will for any future yard work, his crew gets the job done in a day. My yard looks fantastic!
