Jose and his crew worked hard and fast and we were stunned by the transformation. The price seemed high when we got the estimate but we got more than our money's worth especially considering the hours and days the crew worked. Additional: The crew was extremely courteous. They were right on schedule and completed the job they were hired to do.

Jose was so good and I really liked him, that I asked him to set up a regular two week visit. He showed up twice and I have never heard from him again. He charged 65.00 per visit which seemed reasonable. Well I guess I should have clarified what "per visit" entailed. Jose would show up for 15 minutes, do a quick mow and pull a couple weeds and was off to the next stop. He took time to do half of the yard and that was because I told him that I expected more out of the visit than a 15 minute mow. To his credit he stayed a few minutes longer and then left. Still only doing half the yard. So then next (and last) visit he did the same mow and then the other half of the yard. So... I go for two weeks at a time with half of my yard looking great and the other half over grown and looking like crap. I didn't find him reliable at all in terms of becoming a regular. I would use him for a one time deal, but I think he is a rip off for anything other than that. Too bad, I liked the guy. Please note that when gave his Price a D grade, it was based on the work that was done for that price. Had he spent more time, the price would have been right.

Jose, provided an estimate on some deferred landscape maintenance in our yard. He appears busy so needed some prompting about getting this scheduled within the timeframe agreed, but he was very communicative and responsive. His crew came in and the place looks great.

I called him late Saturday afternoon and he came within 30 minutes to look at my property and gave me an estimate right away. I know he is a busy guy but came back after 2 weeks to work on my yard. Worked first on my back yard, then came back 4 days later when it was sunny to work on my front yard.

I had several enormous piles of tree limbs, shrubs, etc., in my back yard. Jose and crew cleaned them up in short order, then proceeded to fill several holes left over from stump removal. Service above and beyond!

Jose was not available immediately but he and his crew worked magic over the 3 hours they were there. With minimal direction, they trimmed the laurel and cleaned out all its surroundings.

José came by with an estimate on a Saturday and gave me an estimate. It seemed high, until I got a second estimate from a competitor which was over 50% more. He called the day before he was coming, as he said he would, and when I got home from work he and a 3 person crew had completed half the job. They came back the next day and finished up. The yard is beautiful. It is just what I wanted. He changed the look of some of the shrubs in the way he trimmed them, but they look nice that way. I will have him maintaining the yard through the spring and summer.

He is priced fairly, knows what he is doing, and he is honest about what services my lawn actually needs.

Working with Jose was great. We met the day after my call to him for an estimate. The price was reasonable and he did a great job. He was friendly and courteous and arrived when promised. I will hire Jose again and would recommended him to others.

Jose and his team did an AWESOME job on our yard. I couldn't have asked for faster service - I called on Sunday morning and Jose was out with the hour to give us a bid. I was fairly confident in hiring him thanks to all the reviews on Angie's list and can say that the List is right yet again! Jose and his team showed up the same week as agreed and quickly set to work weeding, pruning, edging, mowing, etc of both our front and back yards which hadn't been touched since last summer and were in desperate need of help. The team didn't leave a nook or cranny unattended -- they even cleaned out underneath a pile of summer play equipment we had in a back corner and returned it to a neat and tidy pile when they were done. They brought in the mulch we requested and distributed it to all our flower beds around our property. We had an outdoor rug on our patio that had collected a lot of moss over the winter and they pressure washed it so it looked like new, along with our front walkway and driveway. They hauled away a full truck load of branches, shrubs and other debris so there wasn't a thing we had to clean up. We couldn't be more pleased with the work and how incredible our yard looks! We hadn't intended to sign up for maintenance service, but the yard looked so good we decided to have them come by once a month just to keep it up throughout the year in between our regular mowings. I'd definitely recommend Yanes!

Jose was very responsive and professional! He was at my house on a Tuesday to give me a bid, we started to project on Friday, was finished Saturday afternoon. He did far more than I even thought he was going to do, including putting down a wood barrier to keep the rock off the fence. Jose was really a pleasure to work with and I will have him back for regular maintenence. If you need yard work done, you need to call Jose without hesitation!

I originally was looking for someone to dig up and transplant 2 large shrubs in my front yard. Jose came out and gave me a price and was able to do it right then. I mentioned my goal of creating some planting beds and he said they could do that on the same day so I said OK. I even added some areas as the day progressed and Jose was very accommodating. He and his crew went right to work and were there all day. At one point I thought they were finished but then saw them raking and mowing and making sure everything was neat and tidy. I was very pleased with the end result and will definitely use them again in the future.

We used them twice and they did an excellent job both times. One job was for my mom and the other for my son. The initial cost was a high but they did a good job. Jose owns the company and he showed up on time for the appointment. He was very professional.

I found Jose on Angie's list. There were a number of good reviews. I sent they an email and got a call back within a day or too. He indicated he would come by the house and give me and estimate. He came by the next day and called me with what I thought was a great number. He said he could come out the next week. Well we had our little snow storm and he called to say he would be out as soon as the weather broke. I told him it wasn't a problem, that I didn't expect him to work under those conditions. But as soon as the weather broke he was out there and within 1.5 days the job was done. The place looks great. All cleaned up and ready for winter.

GREAT!!!!! Jose was true to his estimate and despite the Horid/Neglected state of our front deck. Jose and his crew did such a profound job even my daughters 18m/o twins were yelling CARS! CARS!, because they could see over deck finally.

Jose and his crew came out and gave me an estimate. I was working with a neighbor on this project due to the shared nature of our lilac bushes. I called Jose on a Thursday to hire him and he was able to come out the next Monday. At 8:00AM he arrived and by 8:05 they were already cutting down the tree. His team worked quickly and cleaned up all the areas completely. I would highly recommend Yanes Landscaping and will definitely use them again.

They were very good. They came in and gave me a bid right away. I needed some work done quite soon. They came out the following week and did the work. They charged me what they said they would charge and very efficient.

Initially Jose came out the day after I called to give us a bid for the work we wanted. He was very observant and it was apparent that he was very knowledgeable about plants and yard work. They worked hard when they came back the following week - for the flower beds were very overgrown and frankly our yard was a mess. That was before. I could not be happier with the work they did - as well as the pleasant personalities of Jose and his crew. You can't beat the price either.

Jose and crew removed very large, entrenched shrubbery, and trees from the front of our yard. They reviewed what to remove with me and were on time, on schedule and left the yard looking BEAUTIFUL!! We are extremely pleased with the work done.

Did: clean up yard. Did clean up using weed wacker. Edged garden. DID NOT, clean up around plants. Spent several hundred dollars today replacing plants and ground cover and need to buy more. Do Not hire him if you have valuable plants or care about your plants. He is not a gardner. Did Prune: Terribly. Do not hire him to prune. There is nothing I can do to save the way one tree looks. He does not know how to prune, simply wacks back branches. I will have to replace at least one shrub. Large cedar tree ruined. Before I hired him, I did go out to garden and ask to walk around and ask him if he knew plants. He did know some but not enough. My fault for not being with them in the garden all the time. This is a very costly and stressful experience. Do hire him if you have a lawn and want a simple garden clean up.

Took a while to get started. Jose is often in is truck when he answers his phone and it is sometimes difficult to hear him. Once work was started, it was completed from start to finish in one block of time. A bit of patience is required; however, it was totally worth it. Communication was easy. I felt the price was fair. I gave instructions for the entire yard three weeks before the work started, Jose remembered every detail and never had to ask me for confirmation on anything afterwards. Jose and his crew noticed things which I didn't and took care of them, including low branches blocking travel through the yard and removing smaller unhealthy trees. They pruned and cleaned up everything. They worked hard to make certain they were done before my deadline and took care of small extra things without charge. They were careful around existing plants and shrubs. The prior owner(s) of the home had neglected the yard for a very long time and the nearby woods were overgrown into yard space. After Jose and crew cleaned things up, it turned out there was actually some landscaping done ages ago which was integrated and restored. We are very pleased with all the work that was done and the price.

I called and left voicemail messages with 3 companies before I called Jose. I have yet to hear from the other companies (the job is already done...) The call was routed directly to Jose's cell phone. He showed up for the estimate when he said he would. I decided to try to get a little more trimming in before he showed up and called Jose to tell him that I added to the debris. He showed up an hour later to update the quote. This morning the truck rolled up the minute Jose promised that it would. The landscaping on this porperty has been neglected for a couple of decades.... There are a lot of future projects. I intended on a few small projects to evaluate my options. I don't need to waste my time on that exercise.

Jose and his guys are AMAZING. Very professional and friendly. Jose gave me a fair quote and called back before the estimated time he thought it would take to do the work. They got to work immediately, worked hard and had everything done in 2 days. My yard is completely transformed. He has improved our quality of life tremendously. Highly recommend Jose and his guys.

We needed a major cleanup in order to put our house on the market. Jose and his team fit us in quickly and performed a major transformation of the place in just one day. All for a price that was almost half of what other companies quoted us. I'm actually surprised at how nice they made it look given the cost/time spent! I'm thoroughly pleased with the results, but a few minor things would bother me if we weren't putting the house up for sale: 1) the dripper hoses were not placed back neatly, 2) a few plants seem a little trampled, and 3) some weeds are already poking through the mulch just a week and a half later. We've hired them to maintain the yard while it's on the market, so the last issue shouldn't be a problem, but if you're hiring for a one time gig, you'll want to ask if he can guarantee the weeds won't return immediately (although I fully admit that might be a delusional expectation on my part given the cost/time spent).
