YANES LANDSCAPING SERVICE

They came during the day when I was at work. I had told them what I wanted to do on the phone. When I got home from work I was completely amazed at what a good job they had done. It is way more than I thought they would be able to do.

This might be the best this yard has ever looked. Jose, the owner, walked with me when I asked for an estimate and we talked about every last detail that needed to be done. It was a busy time of the year, so it did take a few weeks before they could start, but so worth the wait. The Tuesday they came out, he was there to walk his crew through the yard with me again and got every detail and more that needed to be done. I did realize I had forgotten to ask about doing the side yard, so the cost did go up. They weeded and trimmed ever thing perfectly and added bark at the end to the flower beds. They got all the weeds growing in the side walk up to our house and removed dead plants in pots that I had asked them to do for me. We have a beautiful vine growing over our hot tub that was completely out of control. They have made it look like The Secret Garden now with this gorgeous vine shaped like a tunnel on to our back porch. The cleanup was fantastic - I have always found something that wasn't finished as we discussed, but not with Jose's crew. They worked so hard and their work was better than I ever imagined. I couldn't be happier. We've had more compliments than ever on the yard as well. They even mowed and trimmed when they were finished to give it that totally finished look. Amazing.

The crew arrived promptly on the day after Jose called to confirm and did a walk around with me first thing to be sure what I wanted. Then Jose called later to check that my initial walk around had been okay. I subsequently left and they worked diligently all day, only calling at the end of the day to confirm that they had completed the job and asking about payment (we had a slight misunderstanding about payment - I thought that I would be invoiced and they expected payment at time of service, only I was not at home when they finished). I followed up with Jose and left a check (and he left an invoice) the next day. Aside from the mulch being a little "ripe-r" (pungent) than anticipated, we were VERY happy with the job. Our yard has never looked so good!

Jose's team arrived promptly in the morning. They got right to work. I was surprised at how knowledgeable they were and they made some nice suggestions to keep a couple of the items that I had thought to cut out. They were all really nice guys. I left them to it and went to work. When I got home, I was stunned. It looked like a whole new house!! Exquisite trimming, hedging, mowing, weeding, removal of the items I had requested and the nice rock area completed. Everything was so professional and they did an amazing job of clean up. We have had compliments from several of our neighbors on how nice everything looks. The beds were left cleaned out and great and they did leave a few of the wild iris's in one of the beds I had requested while still removing the under growth. Everything looked manicured and polished. I was really impressed. Suffice to say, we plan to have Jose and team back at least biannually to keep things looking good, and I cannot recommend Yane's Landscaping more highly!!! I am so happy to have found them - Angie's does it again!

I called Jose and we scheduled a time to review my yard (I believe the next day). He was at my house when I arrived, and we walked through outlining what I wanted done (everything), made some suggestions about some of the trees I have and what I might want to do in the future. I pointed out plants I was particular about (very few), and for the most part cutting things way back was fine. He gave a a price for completing all the work and laying out the bark. I mentioned a relatively new woodburning stove on my front porch that I'd wanted to sell on Craigs List as it could easily have brought $500, but hadn't had time to organize the details - I said if he had ability to remove it, they were welcome to it. He said he'd see if there was interest. We scheduled the work for the following week. Jose and his team showed up right at 8am, at least 4 guys, can't recall total number and got straight to work cutting my waist high grass, and moving items on my back deck out of the way. I left an hour after they started and returned in the late afternoon to meet Jose and review the work they'd done. My yard looked amazing, like night and day from where it had been. Jose walked through what they'd done, again making recommendations for things I might want to cut down, or plant in the future. The stove was gone, and various bags of soil and compost I had purchased during the summer were neatly stacked. I now wish I'd take a before/after photo to show the dramatic difference. One thing to note; although their listing says they take credit cards, his preference was for check or cash. I plan to schedule them for regular lawn mowing and weeding during the summer.

I am happy with them. They are pretty good. We don't have to anything, they know what to do and they stick to the schedule. There was a time that I couldn't pay them for three months, but they still came and did all the work and they patiently waited, and they understood my situation. They still continued to come even with my late payment. I liked them. They prices are very competitive. In summer they visit every two weeks and in winter and fall they don't come. In spring they come every four weeks. We don't have to manage them, they do their work. They do it perfectly and they know what they do. If they do a clean-up, it's really clean. They are very customer friendly. The guy's name is José. He is very good and his guys are all very good too. Their customer service is good and the price is very good. For the first two times they really gave me a competitive price. The $75 might be a bit too much, but he is competent with what he does.

My back yard is quite large including a rockery. The front yard is small but also has a rockery plus there is fenced in court yard with more flower beds. The weeds had pretty much taken over the beds and the gravel drive on the side of the house. It was getting too much for me to handle by myself. Jose and his crew came out while I was at work and did an amazing job! I came home to a beautiful yard!

We called Jose to get a bid on spreading beauty bark over our 1/3 acre lot. He returned our call within hours and came out the next day to bid the job. His men arrived the following week and were right on time. They cleaned up the whole lot before they left. We are very pleased with their work and will definitely have them back. Joes and his employees were easy to work with and were very dependable.

I sent an inquiry to Jose and he responded later that afternoon. He came by the next day to give me a free estimate for the job. I felt that it was a bit expensive and took some time to shop around. I ended up negotiating a slightly lower price and booked them for the work. Three guys showed up first thing in the morning and worked for 6.5 hours straight. My yard looks immaculate (well, it will once the grass grows back in) and they took care of little details that I didn't discuss with Jose, but apparently were "part of the job" (weeding all the cracks in the driveway, bark around the laurel hedge, etc.). They were professional, hard workers and they pay attention to detail. I would highly recommend this company for our any landscaping needs!!

I have heard for another Angie's List user that they have had the same experience. Non responsiveness of a business should be a big red flag for potential users.

Jose's estimate was only 60% of the cost of the other estimates, and we were very happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew. I especially appreciated that no one smoked! They checked in with me before making major decisions. We will be signing up to have them maintain our lawn.

Jose showed up and was able to go over all of our options and performed exactly what was asked/agreed on. His laborers showed up on time and worked extremely quickly (most of the job was finished in one day and some minor work day 2). If you've ever attempted to remove morning glory that covers a large area you know how difficult it can be. Our property looked great once he and his crew were done and I appreciated his picking up, delivering and installing of all necessary materials. We're hiring Jose again immediately. He and his crew are our go to for yard work in Seattle. You will not be disappointed.

. I found Yane on Angies List and he came by and gave me suggestions and an estimate. He and his crew arrived at the agreed upon time and the yard was literally transformed. He and his crew have come regularly since then and their work has never waivered from its initial wonderful quality. I know Yane is very busy and covers a lot of areas. I am very, very happy with his service.

Jose set up an appointment the same day I called and arrived promptly. We walked through the property and I described what I needed done. He told me what he would do and we agreed on a price. He set a schedule for later the following week and called the day before he started. The next morning three workers showed up and started working on the yard. Jose showed up a couple of hours later to ask some questions and to check on the work. They completed the work by early afternoon. They accomplished what we had agreed upon without any fuss and cleaned up before they left.

Crew arrived about 8am and worked through until every stray leaf was picked up and loaded on their truck. Wonderful experience!

I sent an email through Angie's List requesting a quote for basic lawn mowing and edging service. Jose called me within 24 hours after I sent the email and came out the very next day so he could evaluate our lawn in person. He was very professional, a complete pleasure to work with, and his pricing is quite reasonable... $50 a visit for a medium sized lawn 2 or 3 times per month (as needed). A two man crew came out about a week later (as promised), they did a perfect job, and they cleaned up after themselves. I'll definitely continue to use their service going forward for our lawn care and also for other types of yard work.

Jose and his crew do a great job. I've had issues with my yard and Jose has always tried to work the most cost effective way first instead of laying out the most elaborate and expensive option and working backwards. I trust these guys and they do a gerat job. They dont work on a regular schedule (which is actually a good thing) coming more frequently in the summer and less in the winter. There've been a couple of times when it seemed to go a little long between visits during the summer but they always show up and the yard looks awesome.

His crew worked hard all day, no brake time and finished very fast. Very knowledgeable about tree and yard work, each of them seems like know what he's doing. I gave them a praise as being tough, courageous, brave, honest, and hard working. Our yard looks beautiful now. I'd like to do business with? AAAAAA

They responded quickly to my initial email, came out the next day for a walk around and estimate, and did the whole job in one day, two days later. The yards look better than they have in years. I plan to start using them once or twice a year. I don't know how their price compares to others--I did not get any other estimates. But I consider it money well spent, considering there were 4 people working hard for an entire day, plus the cost of the mulch and of hauling away the yard waste.

They did an excellent job that would have taken us weeks. Jose is just a nice guy! Thank you Jose and crew!

They cleaned up everything very nicely, including all the branches and twigs they pruned. There were a couple things that weren't quite right, so they came back the next day to fix them. They conscientious and eager to please. I will hire them again.

I contacted YANES via the link on Angie's List and Jose got back to me in 2 hours via phone. We arranged a visit for the estimate the same day. I received his bid and it was competitive, so we agreed to the work, and Jose and his crew were back 2 days later. They started promptly at 8AM and worked "HARD" through lunch. By 2 PM, everything we had identified as tasks were completed, along with a few extras that made a difference. I highly recommend YANES for all of your yard work needs, and I will use them again for regularly scheduled maintenance of the yards. Great work, at the right price, with better than exepcted results...

Showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. Did a very nice job and cleaned up afterwards.

Overall the jobs were performed in one day each and the work done was done to our expections. We were very happy with the work and the people were very friendly and worked very hard and were knowledgeable. Just so everyone knows with both my crews English was a second language, however Mr. Yanes made sure that he left one person in charge who spoke English well enough to translate the instructions to the rest of the crew. It worked out very well and I had no trouble communicating with that person. Overall I was very pleased with their performance and work...

Jose's company did a big front and back yard clean up, the first we'd had done since moving into our new home 3 months prior. Jose oversaw the job and had two guys working. They were very diligent and spent one day trimming all of the plants back, cleaning walkways, trimming back a tree, and laying bark in all the landscape beds. Leaves were frozen to the walkways, so Jose came back a week later and cleared all of the walkways of leaves. I appreciated the responsiveness. I filled out the inquiry form on the web site and Jose called me within the hour. He was at my house to give an estimate a few hours after that and scheduled the work for the following week. He was on time and professional. I found him slightly hard to understand on the phone, but very clear in person.
