Vogel's Carpet

Description of Work: They put in new floors and rugs in the house. One minor repair needs to be done, and it is yet to be completed even though I have asked several times for the workmen to come back for what should be a 15 minute repair.

Description of Work: Removed old carpet & pad, cleaned floor and installed new pad & carpet in one bedroom. They did an excellent job, showed up right on time and were done by noon. Did an especially nice job of fitting the carpet under an existing radiator. Cleaned up after they were done.

Description of Work: After being continually yelled at once I opened the door about getting wool carpets cleaned, I was quickly shown where the wool carpet samples were located and that was it. No real explanation about the differences or how they might offer to help. Also, to my knowledge there were no other customers in their showroom.

Description of Work: Excellent experience with Vogel's. From the store/showroom staff to the installers. I found they had the best selection of 100% wool carpeting of any other place I looked at. The installation was for our (2000 square foot) floating home with a very unusal layout. Lots of angles to cut. A difficult project. They did a fabulous job! Can't say enough about them. And we LOVE our new carpet.

Description of Work: We had a new carpet placed in our basement. I chose a carpet in the store and my husband was home when it was installed. I came home to find the wrong carpet placed. I got a call from the owner who explained that we actually got a much better carpet than we had paid for so we should be greatful. I had 12 out of town guests at the time and the carpet didn't look bad, it just wasn't what I had chosen. He offered to replace the carpet the next day but at that point we had so much on the go that I decided to not worry about it. I asked for a discount since the carpet installed wasn't the correct one and it was an inconvienience. He reluctantly agreed to a $200 discount which I insisted on. I was frustrated that they didn't offer this in the first place. I felt like they were saying "sorry we messed up, but you are actually really lucky, enjoy". The carpet looks good, they were on time, and it seems fine. Just not the experience I had hoped for with an A rated company.
