Everything was done to my satisfaction within a reasonable amount of time (about 1 hour). Also, the person on the phone (Lois) who takes orders and schedules for VentMasters is very helpful and friendly. She was able to accomodate my work schedule, and also gave me a reminder call the day before. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

My dryer no longer generated heat. When I called and spoke with a couple repair places, they recommended having the vents cleaned. That turned out not to be related to the problem with my dryer, but it was still probably a good call. The next time I have to clean my vents, I'll have no problems calling VentMasters again.

I researched angieslist and found ventmasters to be well reviewed and regarded by other members so I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment. They showed up on time, provided a quick description of what was to take place, and went at it. About 45 minutes later I found out that my dryer connection between the wall and my dryer was crushed (they showed it to me) and they had replaced it and that my vent was fairly dirty for a 5 year old home. They came on time and was charged the price I expected to pay (based on their quote). Now I have a clean dryer vent and am a happy homeowner.

John was well within the alloted 2 hour service period he came and completed to work. When he found a problem he explained it carefully and even drew a picture, so I could better undersand what needed to be done. He had to come back a second time to fix the problem he had found, but no trip charge for the second visit! I will use them again in 2 years when it comes time.

We moved into a new house (new construction) and our new dryer started to lose drying power after about 4 weeks. We called the repair person and he said the dryer was fine, it was the vent that wasn't allowing the dryer to discharge air properly. He recommended that we contact VentMasters. Before doing so, I checked Angie's list and saw that VentMasters had the most reports available and they were all positive. When I called, they had a backlog of 2 weeks, but she indicated that there was a good chance that a cancellation would occur or that they could squeeze us in before then. I scheduled it for 2 weeks out, but a couple of hours later they called back and said they could squeeze us in the next morning. John, the technician, pulled up about 5 minutes before the arrival window. I explained what had happened with the dryer, and he said he had a hunch of what was wrong. Sure enough, the exterior vent on the roof had a screen on it that stated that it should be removed before using it with a dryer. So the lint had covered the screen and was preventing airflow. John removed the vent, vacuumed out the vent, and tested everything. Total time was about 30 minutes. All works perfectly now.

Everything went well, from the office to the technician, Vance. The dryers seem to dry much better now.

He did the lower part of the pipe inside the house, then went on the roof and did the top part of the pipe. The proof will be when I run a full dryer and see how efficient the drying is.

Arrived on time, cleaned the vent, and shortened the duct so that it wouldn't clog so easily in the future.

He was quick and efficient. He found a bird nest in our vent (we just moved into this house) and replaced that section of hose, vacuumed out the vent, and installed a bird guard on the outside to prevent the problem in the future. He told us to remove the guard and clean out the lint as part of our regular maintenance, and said that if we did we wouldn't have to have the vent vacuumed out for several years. No complaints.

They were responsive, professional, and came in at the low end of their estimate.

We just moved in for a few months, cleaning the dryer vent was one of our 'Must Do' items on the list. Called today (Friday) at 9:00am, scheduled an appointment next Wed afternoon. After about half an hour, they told me that they have an opening before noon today. Even better, the technician came half an hour after the call; cleaned, checked and fixed the dryer vent from inside to outside of the house. Spent less than half an hour to get the job done! Excellent job and reasonable price. What a great experience. Will definitely use VENTMASTERS again and highly recommend them to everyone for the services.

Service provider arrived on time, was very professional, gave tips on how often to clean (every 4-5 years, clearly not pushing unnecessary services!).

As I said above, it all went beautifully and we were very happy with the work performed.

They did a fine job. There was two gentlemen, an older guy in training, they had a few unprofessional comments between the two when the older gentlemen would ask the trainee to do something. Other than these comments it was a good experience.

They were good. They advised me on the suitability of placing and venting the bath fans ie to exterior wall or via ceiling

I emailed Ventmasters asking for a quote on re-venting the dryer and for cleaning my furnace. They replied to my email within two days, explaining exactly the scope of work that they perform and how they could help me. They included a specific quote in their email, which was very helpful. Clarence showed up exactly on time and was cheerful and pleasant to work with. He assessed the situation and presented me with two options that he thought would work and explained the trade offs between the two. He completed his work quickly and--I think--went above and beyond by replacing my dryer hose instead of cleaning it, and by installing a high-quality vent on the outside of the house, instead of the standard metal hood. I was very happy with his work and Ventmasters' price was the best of the three places I contacted.

Perfectly. We had Ventmasters install the dryer vent ducting when we moved into this house 4 years ago and had been very pleased with them. With a dog that sheds like crazy and two cats, we wanted to get a baseline to see how things were accumulating in the ductwork so we gave them a call. Our technician showed up at 10:00, right in the middle of the 9-11 window we were given. He was friendly but professional, got right to work and finished in very quick time. He told me the extent of dirt, etc. he'd found and how long we could go before another cleaning and didn't try to inflate the need in any way, which I appreciated. Seemed very straight forward. The price was exactly what we'd been quoted.

They were able to remove a nasty blockage resulting from the previous owner's lack of maintenance.

The company bills themselves as ''Specialists in Dryer Venting.'' I do believe this is true. Clarence arrived within the two-hour window agreed upon. He was curtious, knowledgeable and very clean. The work was done quickly with care to the appliance, walls and doors. Following the cleaning, he advised me on how to clean the outside flap myself between visits and how to determine when a professional cleaning is needed.

Vance called ahead and arrived on time. He inspected the work areas and explained his plan of action. Being a first-time home owner, he didn't mind my asking questions about the work that he was doing. He checked the air flow after all venting was done and cleaned up well. Overall, I would rate him as a very polite, professional and likeable person. A month later, my wife and I are still ecstatic that we don't need to keep our garage door open while running the dryer. A very positive first experience.

HE WORKED EFFICIENTLY AND QUICKLY AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CLEANING AND THE CONDITION OF MY DRYER VENT. I WAS CHARGED LESS THAN WHAT I WAS QUOTED IN MY PHONE CALL.

TECHNICIAN, DAVE, WAS VERY HELPFUL IN LETTING US KNOW WHEN FUTURE PROBLEMS COULD CROP UP [BECAUSE OF WAY ORIGINAL VENT WAS INSTALLED] AND OPTIONS TO CHANGE OR FIX IN THE FUTURE. WORK DONE PROMPTLY AND ON TIME AND AT THE COST SPECIFIED ON THE PHONE WHEN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE.

AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. WE CALLED AND THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY. THEY HOOKED UP THE DRYER AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EASY TO DEAL WITH.
