I needed a dryer vent installed and not knowing the particulars they could only quote a range. Total charge ended up being $75 less than the low end of the range. Very honest and efficient. I needed a replacement for a flexible dryer vent in an older townhouse condo. I called on Monday and had an appointment the next day. The project involved building a new vent between the 2nd floor and the external wall vent through the attic. What I thought would be a complex job was pretty straightforward to the experts. They showed up early (calling 1st to make sure it was okay), brought everything they needed, and finished the job within 1 hour. Work looks great and they cleaned everything up so you'd never know what work was done. This is how I want every home repair to go. I will be recommending Ventmasters to my HOA next time we need dryer vent cleaning for the complex.

He called ahead to let us know he was ahead of schedule. Work was completed in 20 minutes. Based on the amount of lint that had collected in vent over 7 years, recommendation is to clean it every 2-4 years.

I would highly reccomend Vent Masters! They were the only company that could come out the day after I called. My dryer died and I was having a new one delivered and wanted to get the vent cleaned the same day. Clarence was very professional and arrived in the window of time I'd been given. He will be the only one I call the next time I need vents cleaned.

They did a great job--identified the problem right away, cleaned out my venting, and suggested a low cost way of maintaining my dryer flow while suggesting alternatives I could consider in the future if I chose.

Vance was terrific. This is an older Seattle house. The existing system was not what it should be. Vance shortened the attachment to the dryer, added a cap to the vent pipe on the roof, and cleaned the system. Vance took extra time to explain and demonstrate along the way. Having interacted with another vent cleaning company, I can tell you that I was very pleased to find VentMasters. If you need a cleaning they will clean. If you need repair or installation they will do that. If you are specifically interested in the dryer vent then you should hire dryer vent experts. HVAC cleaning companies are not dryer vent experts. In fact, they are likely to send their junior technicians to work on the dryer vents.

I am very happy to hire the company. Vance is really professional, responsible and kind. He repaired my damaged dryer vent and cleaned thoroughly. Also he provided me some ideas of a new dryer vent installation as well as pointed out the issue in my existing vent line. I recommend and will definitely hire the company again.

Lois was very friendly over the phone. Service guy showed up right on time, and went about getting the job done very efficiently. Also seemed very knowledgeable as he figured out why the vent hood was in such bad shape.

I called Vent Masters about installing a new dryer vent on my roof due to the old one not operating efficiently and the cap would repeatedly fall off. Louise at Vent Masters set up the appointment for 8-8:30 and the tech (I forgot his name) arrived 10 mins early which was no problem. I originally just wanted to replace the vent cap but the tech that came to the house noticed that the pipe we had installed was not up to code. He suggested changing out the 3" pipe to 4" and felt he could do the work in about an hour or so. 1.5 hours later he completed his work and tested the new pipe and cap and cleaned out any remaining lint in the dryer. Dryer works great now and I would recommend Vent Masters.

I called Ventmasters early in the morning to schedule an appointment. I was a little disappointed that I needed to leave a message, but the office gal called me back right away. She was amazingly helpful, personable and sweet. She set me up with an appointment within a week and promised to have the techs call me when they were 20 minutes away so I could limit my time away from work. On the day of service, the techs were running a little behind (for an emergency) but not so much that it impacted my day. (It was easy to see they worked incredibly hard to catch up their schedule instead of canceling.) They let me in on what was happening and kept in communication with me. When they arrived, Tim introduced himself and immediately took care of the vent cleaning and offered me options to relocate the dryer vent so the laundry room could accommodate my oversize washer/dryer without having to stack it. We came up with a good option and he gave me an estimate on the spot. Tim and his helper were fast, helpful, and overall did a great job. When I received the invoice, I was surprised to see the cost to clean the vent was less than the original quote I received. The reason I gave these guys a "B" for price is because there are companies who charge less, but they are not licensed, bonded or insured. I understand the consequences of a homeowner who hires unlicensed contractors and would gladly pay extra for someone who is licensed, bonded, and insured. I would definitely use this company again in a heartbeat and would be happy to recommend them to my friends. Good job guys!!!

This was done quickly once he realized a vent had already been installed in the roof and just needed to be connected to our laundry room. He was a bit chatty, but seemed to know his stuff.

Nathaniel was extremely prompt and provided excellent customer service. You could tell he took pride in his work. Lois was very nice on the phone and also provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this company.

Lois and Clarence were both exceptional people to work with. Lois handled all the calls and scheduling and when we couldn't find a good date (that wasn't 3 weeks out) she kept me apprised of different scenarios and some time opened up to where Clarence could come out and do the work as requested. Clarence came out to give us an estimate on Saturday July 12. We just bought a house and are moving our laundry room from our downstairs family room to our storage room, which in part is mostly concrete foundation. He was very personable, explained different ways they could drill the hole (basically do you want a clear cut hole on both sides or do you care if it is not perfect on the inside). We could care less (we just wanted it moved) and assured us that he could still put flashing around the hole to make it look nice. We received the estimate Sunday or Monday morning for $490 plus tax. It seemed a bit high, but knowing what some other work was costing to drill through the concrete, we figured it was probably about right so decided to move forward. When we finally could agree on scheduling that worked for both of us, Clarence came out on Friday, July 18 calling a bit before he got there (which is always nice). We had some other contractors doing some work as well, so we didn't stick around while Clarence did the work. When we came to lock up later that night, my husband and I were both thoroughly impressed with the work he did. It was clean for and for a dryer vent was quite nice looking. I would highly recommend VentMasters for any installation of dryer vent needs. They were very professional, personable, and did excellent work.

Our dryer heater had conked out and the repair man said it was likely that the dryer vent was clogged due to a screen over the vent to the outside. Apparently builders place a screen there that isn't needed. I called Ventmasters and they were very polite and knew exactly the problem. Scheduling was easy and quick and the workers came on time and even remembered to call beforehand. They were fast and did the job well and were very courteous. I really appreciated their efforts and would use them again for sure.
