Ann at Ventmasters was very helpful in finding a time that worked for us. Vance and Tim were professional, thorough and very helpful. They arrived on time and although they did not wear covers over their shoes they did clean up carefully after their work. Tim got started on snaking the duct from the outside while Vance assessed the dryer. He immediately suggested that a crimped / compressed connection between the dryer and the wall was probably the main problem as it would result in reduced air velocity in the vent. They snaked the duct from the outside and blew air into the duct from the inside to dislodge lint and removed a considerable amount. After clearing the duct, Vance suggested a number of Do It Yourself options for me to rework the dryer connection and the dryer's position to improve air flow as it was apparent that the builder had had some challenges making things fit. He also offered to cut a small opening in the wall and rework the connection right then if we wanted. We opted to have him make the changes and within 15 minutes (and with $5 of materials) he had made an small opening in the wall, removed the existing elbow in the duct and replaced it with a flexible hose connection. This meant that the connection between the dryer and the hard duct had more space and wasn't as compressed. Before leaving, Vance cleared up all of the dust from making the opening in the wall and Tim swept up the lint that they had blown out of the duct. Vance also assessed the air flow from the vent and suggested running the dryer to help remove moisture from the line. We would definitely use Ventmasters in the future.

They did a great job. They also removed my old vent connector and added a new one as the old one was leaking too much they said. I was very happy with their service and professionalism.

I hired Ventmasters to clean the dryer vent in my condo. the vent runs up through 3 stories to the roof. when they found the other end on the roof it had been boarded over. they did what they could from my end and i got our condo association to correct the problem and reimburse me

The company was inflexible on the timing and rude to customers. Our condo complex hired the company to perform the dryer vent cleaning. We were given a window of 8 hours on a Saturday. I understand there're other units to be worked on, but it's still ridiculous. Who would be expected to stay at home for the whole day on a nice weekend in Seattle, just to wait for 15 minutes of cleaning? To be fair, we did get a written notice from the company in advance. My unit # is low so work is usually performed towards the beginning if any contractor work needs to be performed. On the cleaning day, I waited for about half of the day and didn't see the service coming. Apparently the company decided to work from the highest unit # first. This was also not communicated to us. Anyway, I had to be away for a few hours so I tracked it down and found the unit the service was at. The person who was performing the cleaning saw me yet when I tried to talk to him during the cleaning break he shot me down as he's not finished with the unit. So I waited until he was done at the unit and kindly asked if my unit will be serviced by the time I was leaving, and if it's possible to have my unit to be serviced first as I'll be gone. He asked in a sarcastic tone if I've read the notice and said the more time I spent talking to him the more delayed he'd be. I may not be the client he talked to when negotiated the contract, but as a condo unit owner who's receiving the service I expect to be treated as a customer. I see this company has good reviews from the other customers but definitely think twice before you decide to hire them!

The technician Nathaniel showed up exactly on time and was polite, friendly, and professional. He evaluated the dryer vent and answered a few questions I had as well, and then began cleaning. He cleaned the vent in the dryer, the duct, and the exterior housing for the dryer. He was very quick, efficient, and thorough, and the invoice he left contained a lot of helpful detail about condition, accumulation, airflow, and a recommended cleaning schedule. Overall the service cost less than originally estimated over the phone, likely because it turned out to be a quick job. I appreciate that level of honesty and service in a company and I'd definitely hire them again.

Arrived on time in the 2 hour time window they gave. Cleaned vents, put dryer back in position afterwards. Good service.

When I was trying to set up a time for them to come out they were great about squeezing me in at the end of the month. We were moving into a new house and we needed to have the maintenance done on a certain day. The technician came out at exactly the right time. I even asked him to do a couple extra things and he did even though it wasn't part of the original request. The office staff was always really nice and prompt to call back. The technician did a great job and cleaned up everything when he left. I certainly would use them again!!

Ventmasters came out after we discovered a break in our dryer line that was inaccessible. They were able to provide us with lot of additional options for running a new vent. The work that was completed was done efficiently and the quality was very good. I would definitely recommend their services.

The work was done quickly and smoothly (20 minutes). They arrived in the window of time given and the technicians were courteous. Several days after the visit, I noticed that a mechanical problem with my lint trap. I called Lois at VentMasters and she arranged for someone to come out that same day and look at problem. It was fixed that afternoon. I appreciate their professionalism.

VentMasters did a great job cleaning our dryer vent. Our laundry room is on the second floor of the home, and the dryer vents to the roof. The service technician checked the hose connection inside, but was unable to access it to clean from that point (not surprising since the room is tiny) so he went up on the roof and snaked the vent from that direction. There was a little bit of lint dust residue left on the roof/sidewalk following cleanup, but it disappeared quickly. This visit was actually the second time VentMasters had serviced our dryer vent (first was about 3 years prior) and we were very pleased with the service both times.

I contacted VentMasters approximately a week and a half before I needed the work done and requested a specific date, which they were happy to accommodate. On the day of service, they arrived exactly on time. The gentleman was courteous, clean and professional. He completed the work in under an hour and left everything cleaner than he found it. Highly recommended!

While the overall experience is very highly rated, the turnaround time could be much improved and the company would benefit monetarily from this suggestion: Vance is extremely friendly and loves to chit-chat. However, the actual work took approximately 5 minutes per dryer (i.e., a half hour) but they were on site for 1-3/4 hours. A little less chatter and they could have moved on to the next job in much less time. Vance appears to do his job well and it's nice that he's friendly; please understand that this suggestion is only intended to be constructive for all.

It went very well and I was very pleased with the result.

I had noticed that my dryer was drying the way it use to, so I called Ventmasters to have the vent cleaned out. The ducting was completely blocked with soaking wet lint. I have a long vent run (25-30 feet) and they cleaned to complete line. The dryer is now workng great. I will use Ventmasters again!

original work was to add a new line replacing an old vinyl vent to a new dryer. While Clarence wasn't able to take the first job because of schedule conflicts, I was able to contact him later when installing new bathroom fan venting. While his company couldn't do the electrical hookups and installing of the ceiling fans - he did provide a lot of advice and assistance to get them in place, and setup the new venting quickly with no fuss.

They did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived quickly and were done quickly. I got what I needed. I liked that they got the job done. That was all I wanted. They were very friendly. They got to me the same day, which was great because I didn't want to wait.

Vince arrived on time and went right to work. One thing I was really glad about: he did not seem to be a smoker! So many technicians arrive reeking of cigarette smoke! I hate that! Thank goodness I didn't have to deal with that problem!

Originally they were here to give us an estimate on possibly replacing a dryer vent that had a major blockage and did not appear up to code. They checked it out, cleaned the vent and even thought the vent was not up to current code, it was acceptable. Their effort saved the day for us, both with enabling us to dry clothes, but saved us money.
