Description of Work: I called to schedule an appointment and the woman I scheduled the appointment with was great. She did let me know that I'd have to be there for the appointment. So I scheduled time off of work to be there. I was told while I was scheduling that the estimate would take longer because he'd be leaving the proposal with me. We have an old 1900s farmhouse with two out buildings and a historic barn. We were planning on having the roofs redone on all of the buildings. The gentleman that came out to do the estimate spent 1 hr 45 minutes at the home. At the end of the appointment he told me he couldn't give me the estimate while he was there. I asked him to email it to me, and later that night he emailed me saying that they wouldn't be able to take my job because they were to swamped. I emailed him back asking for the estimate which he did send. I called the office next day and spoke with a woman in the financial department who was pleasant. She sent me over to the office manager to speak with. The office manager told me they weren't interested in doing my job because they're to swamped. I stated that I took time off of work and that it was unprofessional to come out for almost two hours and then tell me they weren't interested. After saying this the office manager told me "tough luck".

Description of Work: Superb job from start to finish! From the first meeting, they were punctual, organized, well prepared and professional. They gave me a bid significantly lower than another bidder who arrived for the first meeting an hour late. I told them I was concerned about continual loss of shingles in windstorms. I had 2 repairs that fall and feared more wind. They took note of that. They surprised me by calling a month early and said they'd like to take advantage of some February good weather. Wonderful! They completed the job in 2 days. Everything was cleaned up at the end of both days like you'd never known they'd been here. Their 4-5 person crews worked all day, with only a one hour break for lunch. They even brought their own restroom facilities, cleverly incorporated into their work trailer. No porta potties on the front lawn. The day after they left, it resumed raining. But I was snug and dry! The roof looks beautiful. They really pay attention to the details, like matching the black plumbing vents to the black roof. The careful attention to the trim work and finishing not only makes the roof look better, but it will better divert water into the gutters. A couple of days later I came home to an unexpected small package in my mailbox. I opened it, and found a thank-you card from Valentine, signed by the owner. Included were several little treats from a popular local vendor. I have never, in all my years of working with contractors, had them send a thank you note and gift box after completion. Wow! Their motto is spot-on: "You'll love your new roof!" Use them! P.s. I never fill out evaluations, but couldn't resist for Valentine. They're a cut above the rest.

Description of Work: They attempted to put my new roof on during the windiest rainiest time of 2015. I was assured that it would not be a problem. It took them two weeks to complete roof along with thousands of dollars in water damage to my home. Don't believe their commercials for a minute that they do roofing year round.

Description of Work: They did a great job, and did great problem solving on where leaks were happening to make sure that proactively they did not keep happening. I would have like to heard as they removed the old roof that I did not have CDX plywood under the old shingles (even though it was in great shape) in order to decide if I wanted to replace it, but I also understand that the combinations of CDX and the cheaper composite are typical. They were punctual, cleaned up really well after the job each night, and were very efficient. End product looks great and all the dtails match what they said they would.

Description of Work: Look for a leak in my roof. Sealed all potential areas they may cause leaks, replaced a few shingles and changed out a cracked air vent that my have cause the leak. Too early do determine if the repairs fixed the leak. |Randy was very professional and was very nice to my dog who seemed to love him. Best thing was that they did want they said they would do. They showed up to quote it and repair it unlike the some of their competitors.

Description of Work: The guys that did the roofing work were great, did a good job and were great about cleaning up. |Only problem was going without gutters for a week which caused some water to come into the garage. Price was OK.
