Tuxedo Turf & Tree

Description of Work: I have used Tuxedo Turf for quite a few years and am usually pleased. But they have been less and less timely in their mowing over the past 1-2 years. This year I had a mowing on March 15th and none since. I called them Monday morning and the woman said they were trying to get to everyone. It seems to me that if they are still taking on new customers, then they need to hire more people or not take new jobs. I asked if they were trying to get rid of me but she said no. However if this kind of service continues, I am not sure. Would not recommend them to new people at this time as they seem to be overbooking and not taking care of their long time customers.

Description of Work: Matt topped 8 trees to restore our mountain view. Did exactly what we agreed on.

Description of Work: They came and mowed an over grown rental yard. It had to be mowed twice because of its neglect.

Description of Work: Removal of designated trees and shrubs. Prune remaining front yard.

Description of Work: I contacted them and they called me back promptly. They came out to make the estimate, the price was right, I hired them. They came to mow & edge for the first time today and did a fine job. They did not damage my fruit trees or other plantings as my previous lawn service provider did. They seem quite capable of listening, understanding, & understanding the issues.

Description of Work: Our backyard was sloping down towards the house and water would roll down and pool up against the house. In addition, there was a lot of soil and yard resting against the house siding causing rot in the wood siding. I wanted to get rid of the water issue mainly and also to smooth out the yard and make it look good. I had a vague idea in my head but Scott had come out and started suggesting we do this and do that and this would get rid of this problem and this would remedy this issue, etc. I had four people come out to give me estimates and he was the only one who really took a proactive look at the problem and came up with a solution that hopefully works but looks really good, too. Matt, the one who actually did the work, was always on time and did a fantastic job. It was really obvious to me that he was about quality and making sure it was done right; he took obvious pride in his work. Though their estimate was a little bit higher than some of the others I got, I just felt comfortable in that they knew what they were doing and were going to do it right. I'm really pleased!

Description of Work: The mow the yard every two weeks and do yearly upkeep.

Description of Work: Every 2 weeks they mow the lawn and do weedeating on an undeveloped part of our property. It's $26 per visit. We also had them do thatching and aerating (a significant job as it hadn't been done in 7+ years), as well as haul away a large pile of branches. All that was $250.

Description of Work: Tuxedo mows our lawn twice a month ($19/mow) and has come out twice to do tree trimming and general yard clean up.

Description of Work: Our back yard was prepared for sod by clearing out stones and old sod and then filled with new soil and the sod was rolled out.

Description of Work: Tuxedo removed a sixty foot blue spruce tree from my front yard that had been damaged and become dangerous in the big wind storm.

Description of Work: A crew of three trimmed our huge laurel hedge, removed climbing vines (ivy, clematis, morning glory) from our fence and a large maple. A large planting bed that was full of rocks was dug up and gardening soil was added (done by hand). They mulched the planting areas and mowed/edged the lawn and performed general clean up. The amount of plant debris they gathered and disposed of was amazing. The work was completed in two days.

Description of Work: THEY MOWED AND EDGED MY LAWN EVERY 10 DAYS OR 2 WEEKS DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER FOR $31. THEY PRUNED MY FRUIT TREES FOR $100 AND RESEEDED, FERTILIZED AND PUT MULCH ON MY BACKYARD FOR $200.
