Description of Work: I received three estimates for my new roof. Tekline wasn't the cheapest but they were the most professional. Their work was quick, clean and beautiful. Very easy to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: We received estimates from 3 Angie List rated roofing companies. Tekline was not the least expensive, but we were impressed by their presentation and felt comfortable with the style of the person giving us that initial estimate. All three companies carried CertainTeed Landmark shingles which we determined was a quality shingle with a good warranty. We have a large amount of roof, wanted new gutters and an upgrade on fan vents (previously our bathroom fans vented into the attic, not through the roof); so our price included these items as well as some carpentry work where we had some dry rot on extended beams and an area above a window where there had been a leak. The initial date to start the project was delayed about a week due to the crew's need to stay longer & finish at another project which had more damage than initially thought. This was communicated with us as our date neared and we understood and concurred. Their work crew was efficient and considerate. The coordination of supplies arriving, old roof removal, carpentry done, new roof applied went well. We did have a "hiccup" with 3 new skylights that we intended to replace. Although measurements were done with the bid, the ordered skylights were "standard" and apparently slightly off of our existing openings. We were given the choice of having custom-made skylights manufactured (at an additional cost) or replacing our current skylights which were deemed in "decent condition". We choose the latter. The crew worked around the wet weather; taking off the old roof a section at a time when it was not raining and getting the underlayment in place to protect against the rain. Overall, this experience was a positive one and we would use this company again.

Description of Work: Tek-Line Roofing replaced an old worn out torch down roof on our garage with a new .60Mil PVC one. | |Tek-Line was recommended to me by a friend who also happens to be my real estate agent. She has a list of service providers whom she routinely works with and trusts. I was already inclined to love Tek-Line just on her recommendation alone. | |I contacted the rep - Adam, and we exchanged emails for a couple of days, and then he met us at the house to provide us with a bid. Tek-Line's bid came in about a thousand dollars lower than other bids we'd received. Excellent! | |We had a bit of back and forth once we signed the bid, and hadn't yet been scheduled when surprise! The roofer showed up at our house unannounced. They'd had a cancellation and put us on the schedule. I didn't mind so much - we didn't need to be home, and we were eager to begin the work. | |The roofer was great - he was fast, efficient, professional and cleaned up after himself (replacing a roof is messy work). We have a beautiful new roof that will last for many years. When the time comes to replace the roof on the main house, you can be sure we'll call Tek-Line first! | |Additionally, I received a box in the mail from Tek-Line last week with a mug, and some treats thanking us for our business. Very classy touch! |Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tek-Line to anyone looking for a great, responsive, efficient, affordable and professional roofing company.

Description of Work: They came out in the driving rain and wrapped a leaking skylight at no charge. We were just going to replace the skylight but this led to the discovery that although our shingles were in good shape they were very poorly installed (probably a DYI job by the previous owners.) We talked with three other roofers who gave us the same assessment. Tekline was our middle of the road quote but their quality and professionalism were great. They were able to squeeze us in much sooner than we thought and I think the install took 3 days. They installed a new roof and three new energy efficient skylights. We're very happy with the result.

Description of Work: Tekline removed 2 layers of asphalt shingles and 1 layer of cedar shake, then did a complete roof replacement with new plywood and CertainTeed shingles, blown in R38 insulation, new venting and new gutters with guards. Huge job that took a little extra time to schedule due to bad weather, but once the work began, it took only a few days end to end. Excellent sales and contracting experience. Roof, insulation and gutter teams worked clean and respected my property and neighbors. Foreman communicated well with me each day. My yard was left better than they found it - leaf blowing was an unexpected touch! Seamless sign off and financing processes. This could have been an intimidating project for us, but Tekline made it easy and we are really happy with the results.

Fortunately, we did select them and have received extraordinary and exemplary service since then! | |I cant say enough great things about this company, and we have hired at least 6 different contractors over the course of the past 10 years. Description of Work: Could not have been happier with the work preformed by TekLine I love my new sky light and 2 solar tubes. The roof is great. TekLine's crew was fast polite and did a great job cleaning up the site each evening. I would strongly recommend them for your roofing and sky light needs. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive.

Our friends used their services and were very pleased and we decided to go with them, too.
