Great experience! We called and left a message on a Friday night. Jeff returned the call that Sunday and came out to the house on Tuesday. He showed up on time, was a great guy, gave us a bid and we hired him to cut/grind down the stump right then. He knocked out the piece of concrete the tree had grown around and did a great job cutting down the portion of the stump that was remaining. He was at the house for about an hour. This was the only bid we got on the project and so it was difficult for me to rate the price.

Overall, it was great. Though I didn't get to meet Jeff Taylor, he did exactly as discussed. Jeff was responsive from the initial phone call. He came out to the property as scheduled, assessed the situation, called me with an estimate and was able to do the work that day. He was able to answer all of our questions and concerns...he even did work for the neighbor the same visit!! Not only were the tree stumps ground down, but two of the trees had extensive root systems that he also took care of. His clean up was FANTASTIC!! Thank you Jeff for your care and concern.

Called one day, work done the next.

When Jeff got back he checked out the stumps, called me with estimate (I was at work). I said OK and he ground up the stumps right then, left an invoice. Fair price. I asked him to take the stumps down 8" below grade. Looks like he did that. I have two big piles of mulch left over from the grinding that I need to spread out. I thought it was good service.

Jeff responded very quickly to my request for a bid. He was out of town originally when I called, but he called the day he got back. He was at my house for a bid a couple days later. He was able to do the work on the day he made the bid. He finished in under two hours and left the area clean. We were very happy with his work and professionalism.

When I first called them on the phone they had given me an estimate, and then it ended up costing more but there were lots to do as well. It was the only bid I had asked for anyways, and they did a very good job.

Jeff came out to look over the job on a Monday afternoon. He explained that maple tree stumps can be very tough. He estimated $300 for the work. I asked when he could do the work and Jeff replied, "How 'bout right now?"

Jeff was pleasant, upbeat and frankly seemed like he enjoyed his work (I've been put off before by grumpy contractors who behave like they're doing you a favor). Jeff was the complete opposite of this. The work was done quickly, done well with no drama and no mess.

Great experience with Jeff of Stump Grinding Northwest. I left a message for Jeff, he called back promptly to set up a time for the estimate and service. Jeff called before he came to our house to let us know he was on the way. Prompt, courteous, professional, cleaned up after the job.

Jeff showed up and off loaded his stump grinder it was relatively quite for the type of job it was and he quickly finished and ground the stump below grade. He was considerate to my need for a level surface and even ground away the mound of dirt that surrounded one stump so all I had to do was haul away the chips and chunks and rake the spot flat.

We called Jeff for a bid to take out 3 tree stumps, and he came the next day to gave us a bid AND do the work. We have limited access to our backyard, but he figured out a way to get his equipment to the stump sites without harming our front yard. Jeff was very professional and capable, and was even willing to offer us advice concerning reseeding our lawn.

Jeff did exactly as promised and when promised. He took the stump below ground level.

Our lawn care people recommended Jeff Taylor. I called Jeff on Monday and although it was a holiday, my call was answered. Jeff offered to come by the next day to give me a quote (I was told on the phone it usually was $3 per inch). Jeff came just as he said and when I accepted his quote he started working right away. I couldn't believe things had gone so smoothly. Jeff was very professional, polite, all the best.
