They do beautiful work. They had to match a mahogany door from 1910 in a condo and they did a beautiful job. It was super close, they did as good as they could have done. They got the color and shade perfect, the finish was kind of perfect since what they were matching was old and cracked. It was as good as they could have done considering the circumstances. They did 2 doors and 30 linear feet of mahogany trim that they prestained and finished for me.

I called and drove my table to their store. The gentleman there gave me an estimate for both just the top surfaces or the whole piece. The table is now back after eight weeks which seemed a bit long but that is the price of dealing with a successful business . Dropped two end tables when I picked up the first table so there you are, I am willing to wait.

I have used these great people numerous times to repair antique furniture. They are true craftsmen and really know their stuff. I have been thrilled with every transaction! Additionally, they built and installed some gorgeous bookcases for me. The initial quote was more than I had budgeted but they (Loren and Ron) worked with me, got the quote down by adjusting a few things and really did a beautiful job. Really nice, talented people who do wonderful work!

I got them off Angie's List. I was happy with them. They were just very helpful. The lady showed me the different types of things I could put in the interior of the cushions. She answered my questions. They were very easy to deal with. They had the job done when they said. It was a good experience. I would go back again. The cushions are holding up fine. I thought it was a good price. I was using miracle foam and that is expensive. I thought the price was right.

The repairs to the piano bench were nicely done.

Everything turned out great with this company. The quality of the work is exceptional. The office staff is very professional and friendly. I would use this company again.

Everything went great. They took it for a few weeks but it looked great when they were done. I can't remember the price but I know it was reasonable.

I didn't compare their price with anyone but it was excellent. I have another project coming up and I would use them again for doing it. They have the shop upstairs and it is not shifted up somewhere else and it's all in the property.

We were very happy with the results. They promptly provided an estimate and scheduled the work. They were very helpful when we were trying to come up with just the right shade for the kitchen cabinets (we wanted a different stain than the original), doing several samples for us that we could "try out" before making our final choice. They removed all of the cabinet doors and took them to their shop for refinishing. The next week, they came on site and refinished all of the built in cabinets. From start to finish, the project took about two weeks. The cabinets look better than new. Although the cost was not cheap, it would have cost twice as much to get new cabinets (we have a lot of cabinetry). The staff was very friendly and considerate during the week that they were working at our home.

The way they did it, you can't tell that it was chipped off there. We've used them before. They are craftsman and they are just really good at either repairing or refinishing things or stripping stuff and so forth. I've seen some of their work, and products or pieces that they have in their showroom. They look really nice. We've used them a couple of times now. They refinished our chair once and it turned out quite nice. They have now repaired our drawer. We would use their services again in the future.

They did a great job. Their service is very great. They are speedy, offer a variety of options for material. The only thing is they are more than bit pricey for their materials, but their quality of work is outstanding.

Henryk came to our residence and gave us a quote for the door and sidelight work. He was pleasant, responsive and very professional throughout the process. On the date the work was to start the Ballard workers promptly arrived, removed our door, and boarded up the opening. A couple of weeks later they returned with the door and began work on the sidelights. Including travel time, this took about 5 man-days (3 actual days). They used two workers at the start and then one to finish up. The workmanship was first-rate. We were told the door got five coats and the sidelights two. A significant portion of the cost of the job was the labor-intensive onsite work. We used a 15% off labor cost (up to $300) coupon.

This was a dining set that had a honey oak finish and a very 80's look, but was solid hardwood oak. We had remodeled the kitchen and wanted to update these pieces to complete the project. I contacted 3 companies. Ballard refinishers was the only company that sent a salesman out to look at the pieces so they could make an accurate and proper bid. He made suggestions as to what needed to be done to make the pieces “like new” and advised me as to which stain would complement the black and work best with the design of our kitchen and the rest of our home. The pieces are just beautiful and exactly as I had pictured them. Yes, it was expensive but I would not have been able to purchase new pieces with the quality of finish in solid wood. The quality of the workmanship is truly topnotch. I don't think the finish was a smooth and rich when they were new. The pickup and delivery men were prompt, efficient and very careful when moving the pieces. I especially appreciated that the window of time for delivery service was 1 hour rather than the usual 3 to 4 hours. I would definitely recommend Ballard refinishers and will most likely use them in the future.

The chair went from okay to absolutely beautiful. The team was very nice and did a great job.

Ballard Refinishers just finished painting out and updating our kitchen and bathroom cabinets and we could not be more pleased with the end product. They were prompt, conscientious, tidy, and did a beautiful job. We had some additional projects done such as decorative panels, molding, glass doors, and roll-out trays installed and are very pleased with each and every add-on. Our bathrooms and kitchen now look like they have been remodeled even though they have not. And we did not have to spend the dollars needed to do a complete makeover. I would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a kitchen/bathroom update.

They did a fine job. The price was competitive. The finished product was ok. It likely could have used another coat of stain as the color seemed a bit off and the surface wasn't as smooth as I expected. Update: After posting my initial review, the owner of the company called regarding my review and offered to fix the table so the finish was to my liking. I accepted. They came to pick up my table promptly and returned it 2 weeks later and it looks great! They did a fabulous job and clearly care about doing a good job and keeping their customers happy. I would recommend Ballard Refinishers for quality, timely and cost-appropriate refinishing.

Ballard Refinishers are fantastic. I have used them 6 times and they are wonderful. They do fantastic work. They are very professional. They take a lot of pride in their work. They have a great showroom. They treat your furniture like is their furniture. I can't recommend them highly enough.

From the time that I talked to the people in their store, they were courtious and friendly. They gave me a bid and accepted the 10% discount coupon that I had (but couldn't find) from the Home Show back in March. They arrived on time. They were friendly and professional. They made sure that the opening to my front entrance was secure from both the elements and potential prowlers. When they delivered the door and re-installed it, again, they were punctual and were very careful of the old wood mouldings and flooring. I was very pleased with the results and how they matched the 80 year old inside finish with the new outside finish on my door.

They did an outstanding job and the cushions look brand new. We are tickled pink with our service! They are very personable and the free parking is a nice touch.

They were very quick to respond to our phone inquiries. They were able to estimate when they would pick up and deliver the sofa within an hour, and were punctual for both pickup and delivery. The quality of the repair seems to be very good. The cost matched the estimate. Only negatives were that they seemed relatively expensive (although I really have no other data points for comparison), and they took a little over two weeks to complete the repair (which was what they had estimated, but still seemed a bit long).

We wouldn’t have used them three items if they hadn’t done a good job. They seemed very knowledgeable, they were meticulous, and they did an excellent job. They were easy to work with; someone came out and told me exactly what they would do. They picked up the furniture and dropped it back off when they were done. For the counter tops, they taped everything off so it was like a clean room that was totally sealed off and there was no mess when I came back.

I liked the relationship throughout the project. It took a little extra time than they said it would. But that was no problem. I wanted them to take their time.

The piece was picked up on time and the furniture movers were careful about not nicking the walls or woodwork. All repairs were nicely done and the hutch looks beautiful. Ballard refinishers were professional and delivered what they promised. They took our solid wood front door, secured the place where the front door was removed and took the door to be repaired and refinished. They returned the door in the time frame promised. The quality of the work was beautiful. They repaired and refinished the door and shined up the metal work. It looks like a brand new door. I would definitely recommend Ballard Refinishers to friends or anyone else looking for high quality door refinishing.
