I'm glad I found Plant People NW. Owner Shannon is in this business because she loves it! She listened carefully to what I wanted, and worked with the plants that are healthy and thriving in the yard already. Shannon promptly produced a design and a recommended list of plants (with pictures) and thoroughly explained her reasoning. She is very flexible and open to ideas; after she had devised a garden plan for me, she revised her garden design to incorporate plants & trees that I suddenly wanted to rescue from a neighbor's lot (that was being torn apart for construction). I also wanted someone who I could learn from. Shannon literally taught me how to prune... we spent our first visit actively working in my garden, and she showed me the proper way to prune a shrub/maple, and then coached me through the process. Shannon has an encyclopedic knowledge of botany that comes from her true love of the subject. She is very responsive and always provides a thorough reply. Even her invoices are very detailed and honest. She gets her plants from wholesalers and passes the great prices onto customers. The Plant People NW team is conscientious, respectfully polite, on-time, and just really fun, hard workers! I always look forward to their visits.

I have had the Plant People takes care of my yard and my landscape on a regular basis for over a year now. . The staff are knowledgeable and do a great job at pruning my various trees and shrubbery. Shannon also has a great eye for landscaping design.
