Plant People NW are the most reliable gardeners I have ever had. They know what to do without me having to micromanage things and keep my property looking better than it has in years.

Plant People has been working with us for just over a year now, and we've been delighted with the entire team. They were recommended by my neighbor, who is a fabulous gardener herself. We have a yard full of established trees and shrubs that need thoughtful pruning, and Plant People does a great job working with nature and form, rather than against it. From the start, the owner, Shannon, has been responsive and communicative. She listened well to our needs and came up with a maintenance plan that suited our budget. Her crew is efficient, kind and attentive, and they always leave our garden looking healthy and happy, and our walkway and patio areas clear and tidy. Earlier this year, Shannon came over to advise me on landscape design and help me to plan out the next phase of our garden. The quote was very reasonable, but she was flexible in adjusting it (allowing us do some of the easier tasks, breaking it into phases, etc.). She has wonderful ideas, great vision and a wealth of knowledge, and I can't wait to work with her on this project when our budget allows!

PPN is great. They have been attentive, on-time, and perform quality work. Our front and back yards have never looked so nice. They do everything they commit to, by the time they say it will be done. No surprises, just a great looking yard. They stop by once a month to clean up all the leaves, tidy up beds, pull weeds, lay mulch, prune, etc. They've even hauled away debris we had (random bricks and odds and ends behind our garage) to the dump. The team is pleasant and hard working. Shannon is great to work with. I am so glad I found this company.

Plant People NW comes to do maintenance on my yard every month. We’ve been using their service for almost a year. They are punctual, professional, friendly. They do a great job keeping my yard looking good. Weeding, pruning, planting-whatever my yard needs. They email about a week ahead to schedule and check to see if we have specific requests. I would recommend them.

We have been using Plant People Northwest for about a year now and are very happy with their services. Communication is the best, Shannon always reaches out prior to the scheduled service to let me know what they are planning on for that visit, and to ask if there is anything specific that we need. She gives very specific arrival times, who will be here, etc. They always leave the yard looking amazing and I am confident that they know how to take care of the plants the way they should be....not just trimmed across the top at the wrong time of year.....and I have a lot of perennial plants! Shannon has been super helpful with any emails I send regarding issues that pop up i.e. unwanted mushrooms, wanting to do things myself between visits, changing timing of their visits, etc. I highly recommend!

Our flower beds are in much better shape than before, and they have been great with strategic pruning. Plant People crews have been very helpful, hard-working, and well educated.

I've been using Plant People Northwest on a regular basis for a little over a year. They are terrific. The gardeners clearly enjoy what they do. The are reliable, knowledgeable, pleasant, and easy to work with professionals. They always arrive at the appointed time, do what needs to be done as well as what I ask them to do, and then leave. The end result is that my yard is thriving.

We needed a front yard cleanup and landscaping a small bed. I contacted PPNW, and they only have regular clients for whom they maintain the yards. They have great reviews, so I agreed to this plan. Professionalism and communication, and responsiveness with Tony have been top-notch. They booked a date to do the work, were punctual, and a team of 3 did major weeding, mulching, and general spring cleanup. Our yard looks 100X better, and we are very happy w the results. Cleanup was excellent. They did a fantastic job, and are very knowledgeable. We look forward to being regular clients.

We have a really high-maintenance yard and have had trouble with several previous companies who didn’t do a very good job. We’ve had a great experience with Plant People Northwest. They did a fantastic job getting our yard into shape again and handling the regular maintenance over the past year. We are very happy and recommend them highly. They’re very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional.

We contacted Plant People Northwest (PPNW) for a “spring clean up”. They were very responsive and we scheduled an appointment with Tony to walk thru the yard. During the estimate walk-thru, Tony was professional, cordial and took the time to get a sense of what we were looking for. The written estimate was emailed within a week of our estimate walk-thru. We were not home during the two days when the PPNW team worked in our yard but based on what we saw that first evening, the PPNW team was detailed and took the time to remove weeds while protecting our plants. On the second day, there were a few missed items (a couple of environmental challenges impeded the work) but, PPNW was responsive and Shannon (the owner) came out to finish the job. We appreciate PPNW’s attention to detail, responsiveness and philosophy of working with their clients to create a yard/garden that actually works for the client in the long-run. After hiring several yard care/landscaping businesses over the years with very mixed results, we look forward to working with PPNW again and enjoying our yard year-round.

Shannon is great to work with. She's collaborative, listened to what I liked and don't like, and worked with me until we found just the right design and selection of plants. I would hire her again!

We have been working with Plant People Northwest for about one year. Every other month maintenance, planting bed clean up, pruning of roses, lilacs, tree limbs etc. All employees are knowledgeable about plants, shrubs and their care and feeding. If it is growing in your garden the staff will know how to make it shine. The most recent large project was to weed beds, which were chocked with weeds, and spread arborist chips. I appreciate the attention to detail Plant People NW take with my yard. It's as if they are caring for their own yards.

In the summer of 2017, I moved into a house where the yard was overgrown, shaded, mossy, and overall gloomy with random blackberry vines. Looking wistfully across the street, my neighbor had a bountiful, tidy and organized garden with both edibles and flowers. One day I asked her how she got her yard to look so amazing. "Plant People Northwest" was her answer. I asked Shannon from Plant People Northwest to give me an estimate for the yard. Because it needed so much help, she thoughtfully suggested they approach it as a series of quarterly projects. I agreed and they got started about 2 weeks later. I've been working with Plant People Northwest for over a year now. I would recommend them highly. Shannon estimates accurately, makes a collaborative plan about what work will be done and how long it will take, and she and her crew show up on time and execute the plan. The team gets to work and they yank and dig up all of the weeds, trim the dead bits, shape the overgrown, prune the sticks and wood. Then they neatly rake the soil, water, mulch, and clean up perfectly. Gorgeous! This spring, my backyard was ready for a total revamp of ripping out sad groundcovers and putting in a new garden. I asked Shannon to plan the garden for me and she did an AMAZING job, sharing a list of plants and incorporating my ideas. (Not having a clue about gardening, my ideas were “I like purple flowers,” and “I like spotted leaves.”) Once we had a design, she and her crew showed up and dug out the old stuff, plus about 4-inches of clay soil, while preserving a few neglected ferns. They then added new soil, placed the new and old plants, got my approval, then top dressed it and added a simple timed irrigation system. The project was on time and below budget. The plants are healthy and gorgeous, placed just so perfectly. It makes me happy every day to look at the garden.

Great! It was the first step for me to get the yard "ready" to think about what I would like to do next. They put mulch in the beds and it made everything "presentable" again ! When I realized how long it took 3 people to do the work needed, I knew I had made the right decision to get help. 1

Shannon and her crew did fantastic work. The job turned out even better than I had envisioned. This was a big project and Shannon was very communicative, and responsive through the whole process. I was very picky about what I wanted the final product to look like, and she did a great job of providing ideas and suggestions, and also making sure all of my specific concerns were addressed. I wholeheartedly recommend Plant People Northwest.

Shannon and an associate showed up on the agreed date, at the agreed-upon time, and set right to work. They made three of our giant camellias into graceful, healthier looking specimens, and removed the one we thought needed removing. They cleaned up all the debris (which was enough to make a small forest!) and smoothed the area where the one had been removed. The whole yard looked better.

Fantastic! They have been doing our landscaping now for about one year with no complaints and happy condo residents.

They did a fantastic job caring for the plantings. They knew what to remove, what to keep, prune or move to new locations and will introduce new plantings soon in a few areas, both with plant knowledge and an aesthetic eye. The lead, Shannon, was wonderful to talk with. Many decisions were negotiated and her responsiveness was fabulous! ask for the cost. Below you I do not pay them and am not sure of the rate. The price for the lead is higher, and workers she has on the job have a lower rate. The rates were competitive with like services, but more than the maintenance crew that did not have plant knowledge. I felt that they were worth every penny, and willing to adapt to a lower cost plan when necessary.

Shannon and her crew are top notch. She always replies to my messages within 24 hours, and the work has always been within the price range she quoted me when we first toured the garden together. This is not your cheap hack job crew. Although they are efficient, they know what they're doing. They are knowledgeable and thoughtful. I am enjoying working with Shannon to design some new areas that haven't yet been developed, because I know I can trust her judgement and the accuracy of her estimate.

Shannon and her team came highly recommended by a trusted friend, and I could not have been happier with the results. Regardless of weather--rain, sleet or shine--Shannon and her team showed up as scheduled and got to work using completely sustainable and organic methods... No noisy, air-polluting leaf blowers. No pesticides. No undesirable stuff whatsoever. As a result, in the adept hands of Shannon and her team, the once overgrown yard quickly grew into a beautiful space where ladybugs and butterflies and bees mingled among thriving plants. Add to these results the fact that this team is, without fail, made up of some of the friendliest, hardest working people you'll meet, and you have a winning combination. I highly recommend Plant People to anyone who cares about inhabiting a beautiful yard... and a beautiful planet!

The process was worth every minute an dollar to work with the Plant People Northwest. The organization was mindful and delivered on time. The Garden is evolving and and the continued maintenance service will help.

I have worked with Shannon for close to 10 years. She and her company are reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I love a beautiful yard but don’t like to do the gardening myself. Shannon works very independently – happy to take my input when I have ideas, make suggestions when there are opportunities for improvement in the yard, and generally just keeps the garden beautiful and healthy…more of a garden steward than mow-blow-and go.

I have hired Plant People Northwest for a couple of years now -- primarily to prune my fruit and ornamental trees. I have been consistently pleased not only with the skill and knowledge of the professional gardeners, but their promptness, accurate bidding and thoughtfulness. I am grateful to have found them. Their service is worth every penny, and the prices reflect the industry standard, if not a bit less.

The gang does a wonderful job and is easy to work with. Shannon is professional and easy to communicate with. Everyone is hard working and focused while obviously enjoying what they are doing.
