The guys at Nice Moves are wonderful professionals - very personable and very efficient. They arrived on time Sunday morning to pack the house for me. The 3-man crew worked through the house with speed and efficiency, asking me questions to be sure what to pack and what to leave behind. They packed my things with care. The following Monday, they arrived (again, on time) to move me. They had the truck packed, made a stop at Goodwill, and had me moved in in no time at all. I really appreciated how accommodating they were. I also appreciated the care they took with my belongings and my home.

Nice Moves recently helped us with a full-service move that involved consolidating two households into one, and moving all overflow into a storage unit. We had a three-man crew with a 26' truck and the move took the full day (~9am-6pm). The first stop was a 1300 sq. foot third-floor apartment with stair-only access (never a fun job) that involved a complete move-out and included several heavy and awkward items such as an eliptical trainer. Second stop was a single family two-story home which involved moving in a few furniture pieces and boxes from the apartment and taking away a few furniture pieces and boxes from the home. The last stop was a ground-floor, interior access 10x20 storage unit that required moving a FULL truck into it. We were a little nervous everything wouldn't fit, but these guys are expert packers and got it all in - which was pretty amazing. In short, lots of running around and transit back and forth between the truck during this move - not a straight forward move at all. We've hired movers on several occasions in the past and the previous service-providers were definitely hit and miss, leaving us much to be desired. The excellent track record of positive reviews here on Angie's List led us to select Nice Moves and they more than lived up to the positive reviews. We had an excellent experience with Nice Moves - these guys were terrific! The crew showed up on time, worked hard all the way through, and were exceptionally friendly, professional and very careful with all our belongings. We felt they went the extra mile for us and we were extremely happy with the service we received. The cost was excellent as well. We are more than happy to refer them to our friends and family, and will absolutely call on them for our next move. We highly recommend Nice Moves. Hire them for your next move, you will not be disappointed!

The men of Nice Moves are kind, considerate, careful, friendly, and highly professional. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to handle my move. When they arrived, I was seriously stressed out, but only because I didn't have everything ready to go. (The result of an unfortunate lost day that I'd spent having a migraine.) But they were able to work around me as I rushed to get the rest packed. Their kindliness and good cheer buoyed me up. At the other end of the move, Scott, the driver, called me en route, as promised, and arrived slightly earlier than he'd expected, which worked out fine, since I was at the new place and ready for my furniture. He'd hired two local movers to come over and help him unload (which made more sense that bringing his Seattle associates with him). Like Scott's Seattle associates, these two were great. As they brought my things in, they checked with me each time to see where I wanted the object or box placed. There seems to have been no damage to either of the houses or to my belongings. At the Seattle house, they removed the front door to protect it from potential scrapes. My housemate, the house's owner, had been concerned about that in particular. And of course, they put the door back on its hinges afterward. The price for the move was excellent. Scott had told me that he offers a guaranteed price: the estimated price plus no more than 25% extra depending on the actual weight of the load and fuel used (I hope I've explained this correctly). In my case there was no extra charge. Just to mention it, Scott directed the loading of the truck, and made it a secure load so that nothing would shift. It was impressive to see how well-packed-in it was.

This was a GREAT moving company to work with - clear communication, friendly & professional service on the phone and by the actual movers. I would definitely hire them again, and I'll recommend them to friends.

Nice moves did our residential move for us. They took time to answer all questions on the phone before the move, showed up on time the day of the move, and worked very hard during the move. They were careful when loading and unloading the truck, and got things done very efficiently. Would definitely use them again when/if we move!

We have NO complaints. The bright yellow trucks with happy faces were fun to have drive into our driveway--our friends on the island where we lived said they were a great advertisement. We lived in a 2-story with lots of boxes and furniture--12,000 lbs. They got busy and loaded it in 2 hrs. They were very friendly and excellent in every way. "Cool" was their favorite word. Then when we got to our new house (a 3-level townhouse), they unloaded very quickly. Everything is in great condition. We give them a 150%+ score! We highly recommend them.

They were fabulous! Scott came for a free estimate, sold us used boxes, and explained everything very thoroughly. The moving crew was very conscientious and fast. They took good care of our items and gave us good guidance. They came in below estimate. Highly recommend!

I can recommend this moving company with no reservations. They were pleasant to work with from start to finish. Ours was a very big job with some complicated logistics. The price they charged was completely fair for the work that was done. The communication was excellent with regards to placement of furniture and boxes in the new house. We probably had 200 boxes and I have not encountered one broken item. I did the packing, but they treated our possessions with care and respect. I feel fortunate to have chosen this company.

Moving is a very stressful time but Nice Moves made it a great experience!

They were very good. We were actually homeless for a while. They were on time, brought the right amount of people, and did it in 4 hours. I will probably make use of them again shortly.

I hired Nice Moves Moving to move just the furniture and large awkward items. I moved the small stuff myself to save money. The move was 60 miles from Seattle to Mount Vernon.

The day of the move went extremely well. The movers showed up on time and were very professional. They knew what they were doing and treated our possessions with respect. The movers were friendly and enjoyable, it was a pleasure to have them move us. The move took far less time than estimated (we really followed Scott's advice and it helped so much) and what we actually paid was almost half of the estimate. The movers followed our instructions when unloading so everything ended up in the right room. Nice Moves really outperformed my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone making a move.

They were very efficient and very friendly. They were really receptive to where I had asked them to put everything in my new location. It was a very good experience. I only researched a couple of companies and so I think the price that Nice Moves charged me was good. Their estimate services were excellent and you could refer to their estimates from their webpage, and then they do the estimate. They also give all the rates and services that they offer along with it. You could even fill out an order form online. They do like a typical job. They send you an estimate first. We think it’s a team and crew for three to five hours, and they come and do all the services. That makes it really easy. They were very friendly and very efficient. Their estimate was very true and it was $16 per truck for two guys, and it was between three and five hours. I will use their services again in the future.

This move went great. Two men arrived within the first 10 minutes of the job start window of noon to 1PM, were friendly and professional, and immediately went to work planning how best to accomplish this move. They were careful moving my furniture through the narrow hallways, suggested a more efficient way to move the books, and finished the job within the 2 hour minimum. They had time to do more work and also moved file cabinets and office equipment on the 2nd floor and took a large teak lounge chair from the back patio to a 3rd floor deck. They ended with 20 minutes to spare and could have done more things if I'd had the need. I plan to hire them again.

The movers arrived on time, were cheerful, courteous and very fast. I didn't have much to move (I did most of the packing) and was moving just a few blocks away. But I didn't expect them to be so fast. I was in my new apartment unpacking my stuff in less than 2 hours.

The move went great. Scott was great at doing our estimate and very enjoyable to talk to. He answered all our questions and was very responsive. He was also very helpful about helping us purchase the right boxes and getting them dropped off for us. The day of the move our team was great. They were quick, efficient, and friendly and the house was cleared in no time at all. We got everything into our new place in the afternoon and distributed into the right rooms. All in all, this was one of the least stressful moving days I've ever had. It was worth every penny, and Nice Moves was a great company to work with.

This 6-mile move was a gift from heaven, and I don't say that lightly. From the estimate (more accurate than mine, to be sure) to the recommendation and gentle encouragement (not a hard sell/push) to go from the smaller truck to the larger truck and to use 3 rather than 2 workers, from the suggestions, and from the phone call/paperwork follow up -- this move was great even before it got started. And then, I must mention that they were dealing with an exhausted, very teary lady, and that's never easy. Here are some bulletpoints: 1. On time, despite the 520 bridge being closed. 2. They were clean, did not smell of cigarette smoke, were incredibly nice, friendly, had manners (and used them), and kept me informed on the move's progress. They did not track into the houses and left the boxes orderly. 3. I gave them a $400 budget, they said, "Well, then we'd better quit talking and start moving." And they did, at rocket speed. 4. When the budget given was about 1/2 gone, I was told that they had to go to the new house and unload to make the budget. I could see that there was a little room left in the truck and stuff still in the garage, told them to finish, and watched them go at it again. At no time was I ever pressured to extend my budget -- I volunteered it, and it was the best extra money that I've spent in a long time. 5. The guys took a late lunch break so that we could finish the move. By 12:30 PM, we were done. Utterly amazing. 6. INCLUDING THE WALLS, NOT ONE THING WAS DENTED, SCRATCHED, TORN, DROPPED, OR BROKEN, at least that I've found so far. The move included some pretty expensive, large, heavy furniture and fragile art pieces. They guys did a great job. 7. I was actually reminded of the Angie's coupon. I gave every penny of it back in tips to the guys. I wish I could have given them more and wish I'd remembered their names. All three were simply amazing. 8. When the estimator tells you that it's to your advantage to get the bigger truck and 3, rather than 2, workers, LISTEN TO THEM! It's true! Although logically it doesn't seem like it does, the bigger truck and more workers will save you money. I watched these guys like a hawk. They saved me bunches of cash with their hustle and planning of the move. These guys are experienced, they know each other's moves and watch out for each other's loads, and know how to do what they are doing. 9. I don't feel ripped off. That isn't a comment often heard when referencing movers, is it? These guys are intelligent movers, and I believe this to be a good company based on my experience this past Friday. By the way, I not only got Nice Moves from Angie's List, they were also personally referred by a friend who used them (and had found them via Angie's List). Yes, I'd use Nice Moves Movers again with absolutely no hesitation.

Each time, they were finished before the time estimate and did a fantastic job. One critical key, I'm an organized person, so my 3 bedroom home was completely packed and ready to move. Boxes out of the walk ways from large items etc, so for all the people who complain that moves take longer than expected, my advice, be organized up front, or yes, moving a mess takes a mess of time. =-) I hopefully won't be moving anytime soon, but if I had to, Id be calling these guys first! I've moved before many times over the years, so this wasn't my first experience with moving companies.

The move went smoothly, and the workers were very polite and professional. The move took longer than anticipated (as we have more stuff than meets the eye) and they were able to provide additional movers the next day to complete the move. This helped immensely as I had to be out of our previous place by the next day.

It was an excellent overall experience from start to finish. I would utilize this company again with no hesitation and recommend them to friends and family.
