When I called to get a quote, I expected to get a recording, but instead I talked to a real-live fellow human! I was quickly educated on all the things I needed to know before committing to having a moving service do this work for us (I'd never used movers before). Everything was super smooth and we scheduled to have the furniture picked up on May 1st, when they had a bit more bandwidth. On the day of the move, the guys showed up, took a look at the furniture, came up with a quick plan to get it out of the house and into the truck, and then executed. It was so easy! Once they arrived at the destination house, they moved the piece into place, and I paid them by check, with a tip. Again, so easy! Since the furniture was made of glass, I am very glad I had pros move and transport it. It arrived without any damage to house, the piece itself, or anyone's back. Thanks guys!

I don't usually write reviews, but I found other reviews to be helpful so I thought I'd contribute. The company's estimate was fair (we ended up coming in a little below the estimate due to some changes we made), and they were flexible when we needed to change our dates. The moving crew was great. Really nice guys, really hustled through the entire job. Nothing was broken, and they were careful in the house. I've hired movers 5 times over the years, and this was hands-down the best moving experience I've encountered.

This was one of the best experiences using a service I've ever had. We hadn't moved for 28 years and over that time we'd collected a house full of Mission furniture we really didn't want banged up during a move. I'd signed up for Angie's list years ago and not used it. But this move made it way more than worthwhile. The owner was prompt, thorough, respectful, and very professional. Likewise the movers. They took excellent care of our furniture and went to great lengths to safely get a huge armoire down some very tight stairs. When we arrived at the new location, they moved stuff around for me till it was just the way I wanted it. And, the price was a lot less than we'd expected to pay. It was a long drive and a lot of heavy stuff. I can't think of one thing to complain about.

We selected Nice Moves based on their good reviews and ratings on Angie's List. We are genuinely glad that we chose them! We received a very prompt reply to our original emailed request for an estimate. Their estimate and hourly rate was very reasonable. After we scheduled our move date, we encountered issues that made the date difficult for us. We called Scott to request an alternate date. He was very courteous and accommodating. The moving crew, Colin and Will, arrived on time. Although the parking restrictions in our apartment building made moving our goods more challenging, they readily adapted. They did an evaluation of our household goods, taking care to note our specific instructions for some goods, and efficiently proceeded to move and load our goods. They checked in with us frequently, to make sure they were following our requests. They even reminded us of the bikes we intended to move, that we had forgotten in our building's parking garage. When they arrived at our new home, Colin and Will quickly unloaded the moving truck. They took care to note where we wanted each item located in our new home. They gladly placed and adjusted furniture to suit our desires. Will encouraged us to let him know if we wanted anything changed or moved to a different room. They completed the unloading very expeditiously. On both ends, Colin and Will handled our household goods with great care. They were very professional, kind and cordial. They made an exhausting experience much more comfortable and helped to ensure that our start in our new home began on a positive note! We highly recommend Nice Moves and the dynamic duo of Colin and Will!

The movers were punctual, were very efficient, and cordial. Even though they are on the clock, which always makes you wonder if they would intentionally go slow to make a few more bucks, they worked very efficiently. All pricing was explained up front and no surprises. Highly recommend these guys!

Called to request a quote/scheduling for a UPACK unload. His schedule was full for the days we needed, but the gentleman was very informative and gave me lots more info on how to pack, how the schedules work and what to expect. Very informative and gave me lots of info AFTER we figured out he wouldn't be able to help me. I didn't use the service, but the guy was super nice and highly informative. Highly recommended!

Nice Moves moved my family from a rental to our new house and they were amazing!! Professional, courteous, on- time. They were great packers and phenomenal movers. They got all of our furniture into our new house and we had a lot of stairs. I had a couple of really big pieces including a sofa that had to go on the third floor and a big cabinet that went into a 2nd floor office that my husband was convinced wouldn't make it through the door but the Nice Moves guys did it!!! Thank you to the Nice Moves crew! I highly recommend this business!

The five men who came to do the job were personable, courteous, professional and efficient. There was a lot of heavy, bulky furniture involved, some of which had to be taken upstairs, but not a word of complaint! Everything was handled carefully and there appeared to be no damage. When we wanted something resituated slightly, they accomplished it cheerfully. It was a long day for everyone but far less stressful for us than we had feared. We were also pleased that the final cost was a little less than the estimate! We will certainly use Nice Moves for Phase Two of our move.

We had contracted with Starving Students but they did not show on the day of the move. We had a full house ready to be moved and no mover. We called several companies desperately trying to get someone to move us. Nice Moves was very helpful, called in movers who were on their day off and were over at our house in a couple of hours. The movers were very competent, courteous, responsible and efficient. They moved the house in much less time than it took the last time we moved. Nice Moves is great! Highly recommended. Thank you!

Working with Nice Moves Moving was a good experience all the way through. They were very professional from the detailed quote to moving day. Three men came out the day before the move to pack and get everything organized. They were a little late, but they called to let us know which we appreciated. They worked very quickly and efficiently and yet were friendly and helpful. On moving day they packed items to go to storage first and made the short trip there to unload. The remainder of our things had to go to an apartment which is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. They never complained and were always helpful and polite. They set up the beds and were sure that everything was placed where we wanted it to be. When we unpacked there were no problems with any items and were impressed with how well packed our kitchen items were. In a few months we'll be moving to a new house and will definitely use this company again. We strongly recommend them.

When I first contacted Nice Moves, after checking Angie's list of moving companies, Scott answered and was able to fit me in to his schedule very quickly. We arranged for him to come over to assess things so he could work up an estimate. He arrived on time, was efficient, professional, easy to talk with. Then Paul and Conner came, also right on time, on the day to move everything. They were great. They made sure everything was well packed and taken care of. I had some giant items in storage, one quite fragile, and they handled these carefully and well. Once at my new place, they got everything in, putting items where I wanted them, helping me get situated. It was really good! The time it all took came in under the estimate provided, and I ended up paying $450 for 5 hours work (26 ft truck, 2 men, $100/hour with a10% off coupon from Angie's list). I was very pleased and more so by the fact that everything arrived in totally good shape! I would use Nice Moves again for sure and highly recommend them.

The team of two were on time and professional. They moved my 1 bedroom 3rd floor apartment in Shoreline,to my new Diggs in Mill Creek in record time with no mistakes. They were so good, I tipped them an extra $60.00

I can't say enough good things about Nice Moves. From the initial bid process through the entire day of moving, these guys were super careful and professional. Nothing got damaged in the move, no walls scuffed, and they were diligent to make sure that all the furniture got put in the right place in the new house.

Fine and Dandy I had some computer monitors and an expensive chair and all was delivered in great condition. The movers also placed a canvas tarp on my carpet and stairs to avoid shoe marks etc. well done

Very responsive when contacted. Arrived exactly as scheduled. Two men who did the moving were focused, careful and professional in moving furniture and belongings from one apartment to another in the same complex. All was completed in two hours. This agency is definitely a winner.

Scott, the owner, arrived promptly at our appointment time to go over all the items we wanted moved. He was friendly and professional as he walked through the house and outbuildings. He noted that several items were antiques and explained the company's insurance coverage options thoroughly. The estimate was provided within 24 hours of his visit. On moving day the truck arrived right on time. We went over the list Scott had provided to his staff to be sure we were all in agreement on what they were moving and sign off on the paperwork. This group of three young men went to work immediately and with efficiency. They didn't hesitate to ask if there was any question in their minds. They all were very personable and friendly -- the pack up time flew by. After the truck was loaded, we were given their estimated arrival time at our new house and we were assured they had the directions. They arrived at our new home at the time they estimated. The unloading and placement of furniture was accomplished in the same efficient manner with no problems -- no breakage or scratches. Would we use Nice Moves Moving again? Absolutely! They were everything we hoped for -- fast, efficient, on time, friendly and showed great care in the moving/placement of our furniture.

Paul, Stefan, and Luke arrived on time. We were organized with boxes stacked in the garage. Paul, Stefan, and Luke packed the truck and loaded the furniture and departed for the new location. At our new home, the boxes were placed in the garage and furniture was placed in the appropriate rooms. We did not buy the insurance. Nothing was broken or scratched. Using NIce Moves was a nice move on our part and saved us hours and hours. The move was as stress-free as a move can be. I would use Nice Moves again and would encourage friends to use this company.
