Leaf It To Me

I email Brent Jones to talk about service and he responded via call the same day. He asked to come out to look at my yard and provide an estimate, which he did... just as promised (over a weekend). I got a call from the office manager 2 days later to give me the quote and explain the billing proceedures where I set the regular service schedule. The workers showed up as scheduled and according to my wife, did an awesome job. For the responsiveness and professionalism as well as price... they excelled. My only concern was that I was told the workers spoke very broken english and my wife had to work at making sure they were on the same page as the service for which we signed up. However, nothing a little extra communication won't fix... otherwise, so far so good Brent!

Everything they have done is beyond exceptional and their price is phenomenal for the incredible amount of work they do. Every once in awhile they just stop by to do nice things for me. They treat the property like it's their own.

The first customer service rep I spoke with laughed when I told her my last name, Nunes-Ueno. I'm not sure if she was embarrassed because she couldn't pronounce 'Ueno', but it was odd. She sounded young and had to hand the phone over to Kelly to proceed with the call. The quality of all work was good, except for the mulch. They spread some god-awful orange-colored bark all over my yard. When I connected with Kelly and pointed out the mistake, she apologized, but did not offer to reduce the final pricing. When I told her that I probably wouldn't use their service again because of it, she didn't say anything. So there you have it.

They were a one hour late to begin with. But the owner made it up for doing extra work at the same price. They were 2 worker and they worked from 9AM to 7PM. Doing all of the work as described above. My yard looks much better and very pleased with work done and the price.

They usually get done in a half hour. It usually takes me about 3 hours. They do their job, and they do it well. I think the price is well worth it.

Gave a lower rating on Punctuality, because while I was only given a general arrival time it was suppose to be around 8-9 am. Showed around 10. But once they arrived and I showed them everything I needed do, said no problem and went to work. Had tree next to front walk trimmed in 5 mins or so when I went out to tell them a job I had forgot to mention. These 2 guys had more work done in the first 2 hrs then I could have done in a week. (helps when you know what you are doing ) I Just purchased the house and it has been empty for close to 2yrs only work done was in the month before I bought it lawn/weeds where cut once weekly.No other work was done. Had them take 7-8 Small to medium sized bushes, and three small trees. Roots and all Plus rake entire yard remove black berry bush and weed along the side of the house and fence. The biggest Job to me was the removal of the Large pile of rocks and dirt on what use to be a small garden. the Pile was about 3 ft high and 10 ft long most rock have no idea where it came from or what the plan was but it had to go weeds were growing thru and large eye soar. But with 2 shovels and 30 gallons trash can several trips back and forth they had it out of there and loaded on their trailer in no time. Total cost was for the $125 per person for 5hrs and dump fees and tax. This was the best deal in town far as I know for the amount of work done in 5hrs time got more then my moneys worth. Almost wish I had another 5hrs worth of work for them to do :) I'm sure I will later

These guys worked a miracle! I'd hire them again for sure. And, they were the lowest estimate I found. Amazing.

Professional, nice, and knowledgeable manager came to our home and initiated project that was performed by hired labor. The project was very reasonably priced, although they underestimated the amount of time and cost (twice) to complete the project. Total combined price was still good, though entire project was actually not fully completed since it would have been a third round. Nonetheless, it was good value for the amount of work performed. Most work was done well, except for edging around flower beds which was done by just using a weed whacker and left a ragged edge plus sent wood chips flying everywhere. Otherwise the weeding, trimming, and bush shaping was done well.

The owner, Brent, and his crew did a great job, exceeding all of my expectations. The removal of the juniper bushes was going to be an all-summer project for me and my son to work on. We would have been out there sweating, fighting, and likely not doing a very good job (not knowing what we're doing) for the entire summer, and I can promise you that we wouldn't have done nearly as great a job as the Leaf It To Me crew did in a SINGLE DAY! These guys really knew what they were doing and they worked very hard and diligently all day to make it happen. Besides their hard work, what I like most about these guys is that they're (1) easy to do business with, (2) competitively priced and (3) Brent is full of great ideas and is willing to come up with great ideas, solutions and ultimately be super flexible to deliver for you just what you want. I ended up having them do all kinds of side projects while they were on site and boy did it sure feel good to get so much done in one day! One of those side projects was to stabilize a wobbly section of fence in my back yard. The guys pulled out the fence section, and chipped off the old concrete from the base of each fence post and were just about to re install the fence section when I arrived home from an errand. I saw the fence down, and it instantly became obvious to me that I didn't want the fence section to go back up after all. I called Brent and asked if they would leave the fence section down for the long weekend while I pondered what I wanted to do. They instantly changed their plans, they moved the fence section out of the way, and they filled up the holes nicely. They didn't charge me for *any* fence work either. When the crew left, after a long day, they left my property looking absolutely great; they could not have done a better job at cleaning up after themselves, leaving no debris, sweeping the street, etc... My only complaint with these guys is that they seem to get so much business that I've found it is tough to get on their schedule for a bid for some follow-up work related to the fencing. But, just to clarify, that complaint doesn't relate to this work; they were easy to get bids out of, to schedule and to start the work quickly for this job. Bottom line: This is a top notch, hard working, talented group to hire for all kinds of landscaping, yard work, fencing, and related outdoor home improvement needs. I recommend them highly.

Called the Manager the week before and explained my situation. My sister?s yard had not been maintained in over a year due to her work schedule. In addition to about 3ft of grass on an acre lot , there were multiple areas or large blackberry bushes and weeds. They were able to schedule me for the following week. Keith and the crew showed up on time and went right to work. They managed to get both the front and back yard done in a little under 8 hours. Their attention to detail was amazing for the price. All the weeds that had grown in the chain link fence were removed and there was no trace of grass or clippings anywhere on the lawn or driveway.

The men weeding were not getting up the roots: one used an implement that knocked the tops off the weeds; a second picked up the weeds and turned to a third who held a sack open for the second to deposit the weeds into. They weeded a flower bed that had been previously weeded and skipped an area that badly needed weeding. I gave a check to the lead team member as usual, then explained the weedin problem to Brent via phone. The next time they worked on the front yard including some bush trimming which was fine. But they still omitted the back yard problem area. They left before I could get a check to them. On August 20 I received a bill for excess the amount owed and PAID on July 15 for July 15th work. I wrote Brent of the bill problem, corrected my omission of tax with a check for that amount, and explained his incorrect amount and sent a copy of the check he had received. In this same letter I also said that we would not be using the services of Leaf It to Me in the future. I also sent in same envelope a check for the work done on August 16. On September 8 I received a bill for work already paid for on August 16!!!! Also. a Leaf it to Me crew had started to work last week and as soon as I realized they were here I asked them to stop and told them they were not to come. They said Brent had sent them. Yesterday, Thursday Sept. 9, I called Brent and called his attention to the double billing for August 16. He checked his records and agreed I had paid. When asked why he sent a crew after I had ended their services he said he "wanted to make sure I was taken care of". But how can he "take care of" someone who has ended the service? These confusions and their time consuming results are difficult to deal with and I hope we are now in agreement that I will no longer use Leaf it to Me. On Septe

They come out every month at the same time and weed our beds. They do a terrific job.

3 Hispanic men did the work. 2 didn't speak English, their supervisor was supposed to be Kreg. The men worked hard and were timely the first part of the day and Kreg was on site for part of the time but was distracted on the phone,and leaving from time to time.Then he would come back and direct them and prune here and there. He malpruned my beautiful Japanese maple and ruined its natural form and then kept saying it was "better." The yard guys didn't know what they were doing and threw away a lot of perennials and bulbs as part of "the clean up."He was overly friendly and called my house to come to a "Landmark Education" session which is an offshoot of E.S.T. and I felt like a "mark." He wanted to bring me rose bushes and then buy my wood. I called his boss and told them I wouldn't be needing the serivce any longer because I was really uncomfortable by his behavior but I was uncomfortable describing the behavior because I was worried that his boss might be part of "Landmark Education also." I would not recommend this group.

Brent attempted to meet our gardening needs, which required not a set list of tasks but a variety. It would help to know the final price per job if Brent would write down his charges rather than going over them orally. On one occasion they were late and Brent worked with the crew at the end to get a lawn job done.He has been consistently friendly and kept all appointments. There were a few times when jobs were not completely clear to the crew and a written list would have helped us all keep on track.I think we are now on track for smooth running maintenance. Brent has also provided us with organic materials and avoided pesticides. We have a bird sanctuary and do not use weed killers.

They came within two hours of our call to make the estimate which was done within 15 minutes with an agreed upon price. Work was done the next day. A three-man crew showed up at 8am and worked quietly pruning, trimming and clearing until 10am when they started the gas weed-eater and the lawn mower. They worked steadily until noon and left with all the clippings, etc. and a job well-done. Polite, careful, knowlegable, prompt and responsive.

They were pretty good. Nothing really stood out to me.

They are on an annual contract. We spend about $1200 a month. The association is happy with them. They are fast, efficient and professional. They do an excellent job. They know what they are doing. We don?t have to call them back to do something. We plan to use them in the future.

When they arrived they gave the estimate and then said they could come back later that day to the job. We were amazed. They came in talked to us about the plan and then executed.They were fast effective and we plan to use them for more work on our yard. We used the coupon and they were very effective and nice. Craig is so easy going...and friendly, friendly, friendly! Very trustworthy! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

They are really conscientious and do really good work. I am really happy with their work.

Brent's team is on time, they are respectful, nice and they work extremely hard. Brent cares about the customer, his employees and insists that you are happy with their work. I plan to use them again in the future.

They have been great. They provided an estimate and came within the estimate, and it was agreeable to us. They did real well and the lawn is starting to come up.

They were extremely responsive. They were ready to do the work and were punctual for their scheduled appointments. They had done everything that I had asked them to do.

After calling they came on the day they indicated and met with my Mother-in-Law. She felt comfortable with Brent and felt he knew what he was talking about. He seemed to listen to her requests and take her comfort into account when doing the work. She is the one that would be most affected by the work. On the first day Brent came with a group of workers and filled the hole and made a path and did a few extra things that we had not even asked for, at no extra charge. On the second day they came and did the terracing in the back. They used rocks for it, it is really pretty, but the rocks were more expensive that we thought. This was not an issue with Leaf it to Me. It just ended up being more than we had hoped to spend. We feel the labor and costs that Leaf it to Me charged were fair and reasonable, the rock prices just raised it up enough to be a bit more that we wanted to spend. We do plan to use them again, but will need to save up before we can do so.

Everything went great, better than I expected & the price couldn't be beat.
