He has got a good price and does a good job. I have been happy with him. I would use his services in the future too.

It was excellent! He was profesional and courteous, and he did such a good job that no one can tell the difference.

I didn’t spend much. It was under $100 with the coming out fee and everything. The quality was good as always. He did a great job. He was one of the few people I could find that would come out as it was not a big job. It was a simple job. I’d had some tile work done and they never put the carpet back. He did whatever the piece is called between the carpet and the tile. Being that it was a $100 or less job, I just couldn’t find anyone to do it. It’s what he does and he does a great job. In fact he was running a little behind that day and then he phoned me to tell me that he would be a little late. The service is great. I would use him again in the future.

I contacted John and he called me back right away. My dog had ripped up part of the berber carpet on our stairs and we needed to fix it before we moved out of our rental home. John fixed it with some extra carpet taken from an unused closet. Looks great and you can't tell it was repaired! I would highly recommend John. He is professional and quick!;

Something spilled on the carpet all the way down the stairs and across the family room and we could not get the stains out. John came to our house after we called him and gave us an estimate. He returned and replaced half the carpet on the stairs and patched the stains on the family room floor (fortunately we had large carpet scraps that John could use). The carpet looks like new. The whole thing took only a few days from start to finish.

We had a flood in our basement, but we caught it early. So we were able to pull the carpets back and we didn?t actually lose our carpets, but we had the padding replaced. We had to have it all put back down and stretched. All of our tack boards were also redone. The price seemed high, but I didn?t have anything to compare it to. John was also able to do the service when we needed it. So I felt that it was pretty reasonable and worth the price we paid. He was very personable and easy to work with. I felt very comfortable having him in our home to do the work. He was very forthright on the phone. He let us know exactly what he was going to need and what he was able to provide for us. He was prompt and did the job in the amount of time he said he was going to do it.

My cat had scratched up several corners of the carpet. John did a great job repairing them all. He was prompt, effecient, and very professional. The final project ended up costing less than estimated because he was very quick, but it still wasn't cheap. There might be cheaper options, but I don't know how good of a job they would do. I no longer have a cat, but if I have damage, I would call John back because I know that he would do a great job.

His price was reasonable. He did a really good job. He was very punctual. I had damaged a piece of carpet and I had him do the work. I will use him again in the future.

I called John Regis who has done several carpet repairs for me over the past few years. He booked me in within a few days at a time convenient for me. He re-stretched 2 areas of my 14 year old carpet so that it would lay smoothly. I don't remember the exact cost, but I have found him to be fast, efficient, friendly and inexpensive - especially considering the quality of the carpet repair. It always looks perfect!

I left a message and John returned my call right away. Unlike others with a $150 minimum, John charged me only for the actual work and was closer to $120. He couldn't come until early next week and was understanding when I said I hoped to have someone sooner -- our doors wouldn't close -- but would get back to him. Wound up scheduling him and then having to cancel. Would love to use him in the future if I have a need.

His pricing was better than where we purchased the carpet from. I interviewed 3 people and he was the most professional. It was a difficult carpet to install since it was a pattern. He did not have any problems with the installation.

Some olive oil spilled on the carpet, and no amount of cleaning ever really took care of the problem. Called John's Carpet Repair to replace sections of the carpet. John was very professional. He presented me with multiple options but gave his advice when solicited. His focus is to have the area look the best possible, which in our case meant taking carpet from the sides of the stair to put on the tread, so the least worn looking patches were the most visible. Highly recommend him!

He did a great job. He was prompt and professional. It looks really nice. He checked to make sure it was done to my satisfaction. He was courteous and picked up when he left.

Our basement carpet was good quality and in good condition with the exception of an inordinate number of cigarette burns. We were going to replace it but then decided to see if it could possibly be repaired. John did a fantastic job with no tell tale signs of the burns. He was very pleasant, courteous, punctual and professional. His repair work saved us several thousand dollars.

He does a very good job. His skills are very limited, but what he does for carpet repair, he is extremely good and his rates are very good. I thought he was pretty wonderful. I would definitely use him again. He is probably going to retire some time, but until then I will use him.

John was great. Punctual, tidy, friendly. He did a good job. I think he's a little high priced though, considering the difficulty of the work... but he knows his stuff.

Excellent work. A top craftsman. Had one other patch few years ago by a rug cleaner which was good but John's work is far superior. A good find on Angie's list.

Short story - John was punctual, he fixed it, and he left. The longer version - He was very efficient with his time, so while waiting for one thing to finish he was working on another. When he came in and looked at the job, he noted that he would need to be making several trips in and out of the house. He opened up windows to ventilate the adhesive, and as soon as he was finished with the adhesive process he immediately removed the smelly equipment from the house. He removed all of his trash when finished. All in all, he met and/or exceeded expectations. The finished job looks great.

I called and he came out the next day - he gave an estimate over the phone determining the type and amount of pad I needed. He was professional - sprayed the carpet with a mildicide, laid new pad, and re-laid the carpet.
