Excellent service and excellent result.

Tristan was always timely (even a few minutes early) for his appointments. He was pleasant, professional, and answered all our questions to help us choose the right product for our needs and budget. The blinds were produced in just a few days and installed within a week of placing the order.

Took about an hour and a half to measure all 7 windows, discuss and decide on selection for the blinds and make down payment. The estimator had been doing this work for some time and she did a very good job. She was pleasant and professional. I was told it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery; they were right on schedule. The installer was awesome. He had all the tools and knowledge needed, but also such strong customer service skills. I have an old home which comes with some challenges for renovations. We ran into such a situation with one set of windows and he was able to work out a solution so we could get them installed around my "unique" window casing issue.

ASked them to come out and make bid on window coverings - came the next day, very professional and thorough. Their competitor was cheaper for the same thing, so didn't use them for the blinds, but were impressed with their professionalism.

Our experience with them was really good. The woman who came out to give us the bid was great. We?ll probably call her again for other projects.

Major Blinds went out of their way to give us a good customer experience after we experienced initial disappointment with product color. We ordered rolled shades for our bathrooms and cordless honeycomb blinds for the rest of the home. We chose our honeycomb blinds based on samples of the honeycomb itself. We were disappointed in the color of the metal bracket/casing at the top of the blinds when the product arrived. My suggestion is to make sure you ask to see a sample of the bracket itself when choosing the product. We also had an issue with the first set of blinds with the spacing - they were a bit narrow and allowing a lot of light to come through. Major Blinds made the whole thing right by bringing the manufacturing rep, helping us select a better color, ordering a sample that included the bracket and honcycomb to be sure of our new choice, and finally ordering a new color blinds for us and replacing all the blinds to fix both the color and the width issues. We are really happy with our blinds and with the fact that they worked with us to make it right. Thank you, Major Blinds! You turned a situation around that could have been deeply disappointing and instead left us with a positive impression and strong satisfaction with our blinds!

Since I had already done the research and new what kind of shades I wanted, only color needed to be decided. A representative brought out some samples and took measurements. I wasn't sure which color would be best and wanted my decorator to have a chance to look at them and help me decide. Even though it meant an extra trip, the rep was willing to leave a few samples. After we picked the color, I ordered the shades. Once they were in the installation company set up a time and it went flawlessly and they even carted the old ones away. The shades have been working great since. I love them!

They were quick to respond. She was very nice. Her name is Shannon. She was very knowledgeable and came with a lot of different options. She kind of got me thinking about some things that I hadn't thought about. She was a little slow getting back to me on a couple of things but we did have a holiday in there and she did order me some samples so that could have been part of it.

I set an appointment to get an estimate for blinds on 6 windows. Tristan showed up on time and with an armload of sample books. He was pleasant, patient and courteous. He showed me that with the 40% stimulus package tax refund for energy efficient window coverings which I didn't even know about, I could order the top-of-the-line brand (Hunter Douglas) for the same effective price as a lower-end version which didn't qualify for the refund. 2 1/2 weeks later, the blinds were installed beautifully. I'm thrilled with the service and professionalism of this company.

Half-way through the update/remodel of my house, I was left with empty windows. They worked with me and ordered window treatments for nearly all the windows in the house. They delivered and installed each promptly and came back and installed the window treatments for the other rooms after they were completed. The quality of their window treatments is excellent. There was a hitch with one window and they were out ASAP to fix it. Great office and field folks. Tristan is my field rep and is the best. I like that they're small but quality.

The consultation meeting was great. Consultant came to our place and was very knowledgeable and didn't try to push any product. Installation took longer than we thought. We had hard time getting in touch with the office, it would be great if someone in the office had a cell phone. The final product looks very well and the installation itself was quick.

The process went very smooth and was very time-efficient. We received an estimate at the end of the visit that, at first glance, seemed reasonable. It turned out to be less competitive than what we received from another service provider, who was able to beat the price using name-brand product instead of second-tier. We would certainly get a quote from Major Blinds again, but would also encourage getting one or two competing bids. I have no reason to believe that with a different set of products being quoted that the Major Blinds quote couldn't be the best one; in our particular situation, it didn't work out that way.

It went really well - from the first interaction with the Tacoma branch on the phone to the installation, everyone was polite and professional. The salesman who came to the house was extremely helpful in offering design advice and recommending the best treatments for our budget. He was punctual and I had no problem rescheduling our initial appointment. We weren't pressured to buy anything and he took measurements for additional windows in the same rooms in case we wanted to come back later and add things. The blinds took about 2 weeks to come in (they were all custom) and another week to get installed (they were willing to work with my schedule). The installer was again, punctual and polite. He made sure to ask me how I wanted things done (as far as drilling things into doors and window trim) and then he demonstrated how everything worked. I would definitely go with this company again and I wouldn't even bother to LOOK for another company.

Representive was 1.5 hours late--but that was due to his professionalism; he was stuck with another client and needed to complete work with them. Totally understand. I received three bids for the job; Major Blinds came in 2nd.

Everything went well from first step in our home to finished product installation.

The representative showed up on time and was very professional. He helped me pick the appropriate product and color. He informed me that they would be installed in 3-4 weeks. Four weeks passed and I didn't hear back from him; I emailed several times and he responded that he would check with the factory and let me know the status of my order. Another two weeks passed and I finally called him. Within ten days 8 of the 9 blinds were installed; the 9th blind was the wrong size and had to be re-manufactured. Due to the snow the 9th blind was not installed until three weeks later.

It went very well. They were very prompt in calling me back and making an appointment to measure the windows and give an estimate for free. He came back and showed us samples of what we could choose from. They got the shades installed in just half a day. The lead time for the blinds was only four weeks.

The "story" began with my attempts to reach various sources for window treatment, and finding only one that was available when I called. Availability, the knowledge and care of the person answering the phone convinced me to have someone come to the house to give an estimate. The sales person arrived with many samples, and a good understanding of what would work best for my needs. The timing for the installation was excellent. Major Blinds was very accommodating in coordinating with the installation of window film, so that both could be done smoothly.

I really like the blinds; they do what I want them to do. I like the sleek look of them. The blinds for the doors going onto the deck were not available without cords. I did not like the messy tangled look of the cords, so Major Blinds took care of the problem, working with the manufacturer and gave me the cordless blinds without additional cost.

We requested a quote from Major Blinds and their consultant was at our house the following day. We also obtained a quote from another company, and checked prices on-line. We had used the other company before, but they did not deliver as promised. Luckily, I didn't have to sacrifice customer service for price. Major Blinds' bid was the most competitive and their staff the most friendly and helpful so it made the choice easy. They had a great selection and helped me determine what blinds would meet my needs. The blinds were installed on-time. In fact, I was so impressed with Major Blinds that when not long after we decided to purchase new blinds for our master bedroom, I did not even bother getting any other quotes. Major Blinds had already measured all the windows in my house and were ready to go when I ordered more blinds. I am 100% satisfied with my decision to use Major Blinds. I would highly recommend Major Blinds and would not hesitate to use them again.
