Gu-Wi Gutters and Windows was founded in 2016 by a local Seattle duo whose main purpose was to serve and improve their local neighborhoods, while making homeowners happy in the process. This ‘ma-and-pa’ team was met with great enthusiasm as customers were beyond satisfied with their quality of work and attention to detail. Gu-Wi (pronounced goo-wee) gained an OUTSTANDING reputation in Seattle, and within a few short years was able to expand to all of the Pacific Northwest and now nationwide! We started as a small gutter and window cleaning company, and now offer a wide variety of services, including: *Gutter Cleaning, Repair, and Installation; *Window Cleaning, Repair, and Installation; *Roof Cleaning, Repair, and Installation, *Siding Cleaning and Installation, *Summer Painting. Description of Work: Gu-Wi cleaned our windows and screens, however my project also requested that they wipe the tracks of 5 windows & 3 sliders. However, it was only when they were packing up to leave that I noticed the track had not been wiped on one slider. I mentioned it to the technician, but since they were packing up to leave I told the tech that I would take care of it myself. It was only after the technician left that I noticed that NONE of the tracks had been wiped. When I brought this to the company’s attention, they offered to do this work for an additional charge of $160 (which was more than 50% of my original quote). When I asked for a refund, they offered me $20. Here’s the thing, my project was carefully explained in writing on Angie’s List. I received multiple bids that were identical or in the same range. If Gu-Wi’s quote had been as careful to explain that it did not include all the work that I requested, I would have been able to compare apples to apples and would not have chosen this company. My advice: BE VERY CAREFUL TO REVIEW THEIR BID, SINCE IT MAY NOT INCLUDE ALL THE WORK YOU ARE ASKING FOR.

The work has been well done in Feb, the service professional came on time and cleaned all gutters thoroughly. The next day, they send me all pictures of the cleaned gutters from cloud service, very professional. It is a very important to show the customers the completed work quality as the gutters are usually too high for them to check out, I really like this feature of their communications. Also I like to mention that the scheduled work was delayed in early Feb due to heavy snow in Seattle area, the company office has kept contacting me and re-scheduled the work, they are very responsible for the safety of their worker meanwhile very responsive for their customers, plus they charged very reasonable price.

GuWi was great. I’m even more impressed the second time we had them out. Last year we hired them for gutter cleaning and window washing. They were very meticulous and did a fantastic job. We reached out to them just last week about gutter installation and they were out with their team almost immediately. They arrived promptly, were courteous, and did an excellent job building the gutters around the gazebo. I’m so excited for the summer now that I have this done, and I can’t wait to have guests over to enjoy it. I’ll probably have them back to clean the windows in spring. Thanks again!

They were very prompt in coming to my house for an estimate. They also showed up right on time for the job, which took 2 days. Danny (owner?) clearly explained the work and offered ideas on reducing the cost. The guys doing the job worked hard in carrying out the things I wanted done. Everything was cleaned up afterwards.
