Gilland Window & Gutter Cleaning

Very haphazard work. He didn't even clean all the gutters and I had to call him to find out if he had left or what. He didn't knock or ring the bell to let me know he was finished...he was just gone!!! He reluctantly came back and cleaned one more gutter, but I think he did not clean any of the second story gutters! I don't think he cleaned out the downspouts. He just brushed the debris from the gutters into the downspouts and ran some water in them. He did not clean the needles/leaves from the roof as was advertised as part of the service. A big waste of my money.

We didn't know this at first but One of the two areas was misunderstood to be a different one and The main leak was overlooked. I spoke to him about it and his follow up was amazing! I purchased a deal offered by Gilland Window and Gutter Cleaning on Angie's List, and the service I received from this company was exceptional. Within minutes of submitting the purchase, I was contacted by Paul, the owner, and arrangements were made to have the gutters and roof cleaned, along with moss treatment, on my 99 year old mother's house. He assured me I didn't need to be there, and when I returned a few days later, the roof was immaculate. From the initial communication to the finished product, the experience of working with Paul and Gilland Window and Gutter Cleaning was a pleasure. Paul is pleasant and accommodating. I felt his work was very good value for the money.

Gilland did a good job and was responsive to my purchase of the big deal offered. They were easy to work with and was able to complete the job when I was not at home. I requested a minor repair on the gutter and Gilland made an attempt to fix it, showing me a picture of the fix. Unfortunately, the fix did not work but it was a gutter design flaw. This was above and beyond the gutter cleaning and I really appreciate their attempt to fix it.

Paul washed all our windows inside and out plus cleaned the gutters. He worked hard, and the house looks Michelle brighter and cheerier inside now. It is a relief not to have to climb up to those gutters anymore either.

Paul cleaned our gutters in December 2015. He contacted me promptly, arrived when he said he would, cleaned our gutters thoroughly and charged less than the competition. He then provided an assessment of our gutters and roof. Fast forward to two nights ago when, during a downpour, I realized we had a problem with a downspout. I called Paul the next morning and he called right back, agreeing to fit me into his schedule within two days. Taking advantage of Paul, I also asked him to take a look at a leak I thought we had in a soffet. Paul came a day early (no problem, since no one needed to be at home), fixed the downspout and found and patched a gap between our roofing shingles and gutter. His repairs were top-notch, neat and effective AND he refused to charge me until I insisted to compensate him for his time. The two other companies I called for a quote both called back after Paul had completed the work. I'm tough to please and can almost always find something I thought could have been done better. Not with Paul -- he's old school, polite, competent and professional.

They came and cleaned my gutters while I was at work. Super easy. They scheduled it and I didn't have to do anything.

Paul arrived on time on the date scheduled. After a brief conversation about any trouble spots, he started work. He completed the work in less than two hours. He cleaned up the residue around the house. He told me he made one minor repair which I could not have done because I do not have a ladder that high. He recommended that I purchase an item to redirect one of my downspouts. The work was satisfactorily completed.

I contacted Gilland after noticing that the downspout in the front of my house was clogged with moss--water was pouring out of moss at a point where two gutter pipes met, and with the restricted flow, water was also overflowing from another gutter and falling onto the ground. I explained the issue and asked for an estimate. Even though this was the late December holiday season, I received a prompt reply from Paul Gilland who provided an estimate based on a Google satellite image of my house. The price was in line with or well below other options, so I asked Paul to come by and do the work when he could. I was out of town the whole time, but he stopped by within a few days and let me know the work was done. Now that we've had a few strong rainfalls, I've been able to see the difference. The bit of moss sticking out of the downspout is gone (that I saw as soon as I got back home), but now there is no leaking or overflowing when it rains. The problem is gone, and all at a very competitive price. Should my gutters need cleaning again, I won't hesitate to come back and use Gilland again.

He was on time and honored the estimate he had given me. When we had a hard rain a couple of weeks later I noticed a drip from the top of a downspout. Paul came out and fixed that issue for me promptly. I'm happy with our communication and with the quality of work. I would definitely have him come work for me again.

Paul is super responsive and proactive. The price is reasonable and though I've seen lower, another $20 to get someone who is on top of it is often worth it. Scheduling was simple and quick even though we requested right before the holidays. Thanks Paul!

We had some stormy weather, so the job wasn't done as scheduled (weather was pretty bad that day), but the Galland team was out the following Monday to get everything cleaned out. Called to follow up with a report on the condition of the home and roof. Really did a fine job.

The process was so easy! I purchased a 'deal' on Angie's List. Paul was quick to respond on email. The service was scheduled and completed as promised. No surprises. Will definitely use them again.

We purchased a Big Deal for gutter cleaning for $110. Paul contacted us the next day to schedule the service. We scheduled it for later in the week and Morgan came out to do the work. He was prompt, very professional, friendly and did great work! Our gutters have been clogged for years and he got them working again in no time. He made sure our deck. yard and porch were free of debris when he was done. We will use them every year from now on and I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

I was so happy with the service from Gilland Window & Gutter cleaning! The price was very reasonable, and while I haven't been up on the roof to see the difference in the gutters, they are working much better after the cleaning, so the work must be good. Paul was kind enough to move our service up a few days when our gutters were struggling to keep up with extremely heavy rain. His communication was prompt, and he was very easy to work with. We will definitely be using GIlland again!

Was able to schedule quickly. I wasn't there when he did the job but my husband said he was great and the work was certainly done well. My only disappointment was that, even though the pricing was good, he offered a quote to my neighbor (with a 2 story house compared to our one-story house) and more windows for less than he did ours.
