The service turned out just fine.

On time- professional. Finished ahead of schedule.

Due to a sewer backup I had to replace all the carpet and pad in my finished basement. I worked with Ron at Flooring America. He did an excellent job. He came out and measured and took me through the process. He worked with the insurance company on my behalf and made this process effortless for me. His installers were also excellent. They were right on time, pleasant, respectful of my property, and excellent in their carpet installing skills. I would highly recommend.

Working with Jim and his installation crew was great. In the store we were able to get a feel for many different types of carpet but when we actually talked to Jim and told him what we were looking for, he took us directly to one of the carpets we had looked at and really liked so we knew we were making a good decision. We were able to get scheduled for a Saturday install. Installation costs were standard and his guy was there right on time and worked quickly and was kind enough to humor me as I hovered and inquired about his installation method (I was supposed to have left to a picnic but my ride was late). It was very cool to see it all come together and finished product is amazing. The difference it has made in our home is a tenfold increase in comfort, warmth fuzzy feelings and plushness. Which is great because we have a little one on the way and that's why we replaced our old carpet anyway. Thanks for the great job guys!

The finished product (especially the hardwood flooring) is awesome. The sales rep, installers and finishers were all professional. Issues: the vinyl I originally selected was out of stock and I had to drive back to re-choose. So make sure to have that checked before leaving the store (or have 2nd and 3rd choices ready.) Another issue was that I was told an installer was going to show up to finish the installation and they didn't - the real issue was that they didn't call-even though I specifically asked for a call if they couldn't make it. This was clearly a break-down in their internal communications (for which they apologized profusely) because every other visit was on-time or I was called to let me know they were going to be late (stuck in traffic, etc.) Finally, the finishing took one more day than I expected - that may have been a misunderstanding on my part - just make sure you get that spelled out completely when planning your project. Things I appreciated: the advice I received from the finishers on the type of finish to apply (satin or semi-gloss), their quick email responses to my questions, every worker cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day, the fact they called (with one exception) to let me know that they were going to be late - otherwise they were punctual. Finally, everyone was very easy and pleasant to work with.

THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. FLOORWORKS WORKED HARD TO FIND A FLOOR THAT MATCHED OUR INTERIOR DECOR AND SPECIFIC DETAILS. THE CRAFTSMANSHIP AND INSTALLATION WERE EXCELLENT. THEY WORKED VERY WELL WITH OUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO SETTLE A WATER DAMAGE CLAIM.
