Description of Work: The movers worked very hard, even going above and beyond by moving my very heavy water-logged plants. One of the movers was a Vet, and she moved me on Veteran's Day. Thank you for your service!

Description of Work: While the project manager was professional and wonderful to work with, the same cannot be said for the younger movers. They broke things, stole items and ripped holes in the carpet. It's really unfortunate and I'll never use them again.

Description of Work: Wouldn't use again because they moved slowly and still managed to damage a lot of my items.

Description of Work: I really hate to write negative reviews however the nature of Angie's List relies on reviews from customers. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our movers. First of all they showed up late, (however, they did call and let us know), they arrived without the proper equipment and it took much longer than expected. They were only moving a few big things for us -washer/dryer, piano, elliptical, dressers, and work bench. If my husband hadn't been there to help, the move wouldn't have happened. Only one mover knew what he was doing and he was great. The other two had no clue. One had back issues and admitted he was usually a packer and had been called in that morning to help move. They even damaged our wall trying to get things out. It would have been better to hire my son's high school friends to help. Because they didn't know what they were doing, it took much longer than the 4 hours and we had to pay even more. I did contact the company to complain, she was very apologetic and took some off of the bill. I am a military brat and have moved 30 times in my life, these movers unfortunately were not professional movers. Hopefully they are better now.

Description of Work: Spent over 45 minutes on the phone with "Roland" to obtain a quote for our move. The quote Roland came up with was for 4 men, 8 to 10 hours and two trucks, and possibly over 2 days. This included travel time from of movers from S. Seattle to our house in Mountlake Terrace, which on a good day would be about 45 minutes each way. I purchased 3 men, 4 hours and a truck. No where is the documentation, "here's the deal" or "the fine print" did it mention that we would have to pay travel time, and/or that the travel time would come out of the 4 hours already purchased. It actually states "12 labor-hours of moving services" not travel time. I spoke to Toni on July 17th and confirmed that travel time from Express Movers to Mountlake Terrace would be at our expense. Again had this been documented, I would of looked to see how far away there were located and not chosen this deal. In addition to the excessive quote of time and man hours needed, they are not available to provide the services we need, or that we have paid for within the time frame we need. I do not need a replacement service, I have already made other arrangements. I need a full refund as soon as possible so I have access to the funds I need for other moving expenses. Description of Work: Express Movers moved our belongings from an apartment to a home within the same zip code. They also moved items out of POD into our new home. They met the timeline for completing the work and were very friendly. | |My only complaint was that they tracked in dirt from the outside into our apartment which then required some extra cleaning before we were able to move out.

Description of Work: Moved our stuff into storage and then moved it back the following week. Wrapped everything up for us, too. Smooth as silk! They are awesome. Experienced and very professional! The owner came down personally to take a look at our stuff and gave us an estimate.

Description of Work: What started out as 2 men for four hours turned into 3 men for about 8 hours. They broke two pieces of furniture and scraped a door jam and, ultimately, reimbursed us a grand total of $18.

Description of Work: They were very professional, and we had to reschedule a couple of times because of some problems at our side, and they were very accomodative of that. Would recommend them.

Description of Work: They moved all of our furniture quickly and without mishap. Everything was placed in the room in which it belonged. They were on time and very efficient.

Description of Work: I needed a partial move done, 50 boxes of books and furniture. They were very courteous, efficient and nothing was damaged.

Description of Work: OUTSTANDING, OUTSTANDING. This company booked us almost two months ahead, showed up on time, we told them what we wanted and they did it. Nothing broken or out of place. They filled the truck completely to the top and back and delivered it inside the new house in the rooms we designated. If your moving, USE THEM.
