My experience with Express Movers was good from start to finish. Toni in the office gave me a detailed explanation of the estimated charges and what to expect on the day of the move. She concisely explained state regulation of moving companies and how that is reflected in procedures and billing. She also warned me about low-ball estimates and the fact that charges, by regulation, must reflect the actual time involved regardless of the original estimate. On moving day, the crew called the warehouse to coordinate their arrival, then they called me to say they were departing for the warehouse. They called again when the materials had been loaded to let me know they were on the way to my house. When they arrived, they worked efficiently to complete the delivery as quickly as possible, finishing in about 2/3 of the time they estimated for the job. On the way back to their base, the crew made an extra stop to deliver the railing for refinishing. Last but not least, Toni retroactively revised the final billing when I told her that I am a senior so that I would receive the 10% senior discount. I would definitely hire Express Movers again. They are competent,fair, and easy to work with.

The company responded promptly and were thorough about trying to understand the job we needed done, and offered to squeeze us in on a Friday between a couple other jobs. My partner was moving the contents of her office in one part of Seattle to a new office several miles away. The total job was estimated to take just 2-3 hrs, and once the movers arrived, they were professional and got the job done promptly. However, the movers were *more than 4 hours late* in showing up to move her stuff. Moreover, the company never offered to lower the final price based on their tardiness, which I felt was unreasonable. All in all, I don't think I will call them again.

I had a very expensive bed, which I advised and provided information to them how to store and transport it. They damaged the bed to the point that it had to be replaced. They also broke an antique glass light fixture, the glass out of an antique hutch, and a desk. A leather chair was spotted, torn and faded from being left in the sun. The clothes that they took were thrown into a corner, so were filthy and stunk when I got them back. All of the hanging clothing containers were broken. They promised that they would keep things safe and clean, but they were covered with dust, filth, and grime. I had an expensive piece of exercise equipment that was ruined because a part was lost. They also got spots all over my brand new white carpet and gouged the brand new walls. When trying to contact the provider about my damaged possessions, they were very shrill. They said that they would send me forms, which I never received. They never advised me of the different levels of insurance. The most amazing thing was that they had absolutely no interest in trying to rectify their error, regardless of the time frame. They like to pride themselves as being such great movers, while they did this to my house and things. I feel that they prayed on me when my life was upside-down; they just took advantage of it in every way that they could. I would avoid them like the plague. Do not use this company.

Overall, the team managed by Myron on site did an excellent job. They worked extremely hard and were very professional from the upfront proposal and throughout the moving process. They showed up on time and other than one damaged item (an office cubicle wall) they were extremely careful with our items. I have used other movers before and found them to be excellent to work with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them again in the future.

Express Mover (Myron's team) did a good job overall. The excellent: 1) hardworking group. They only took a quick lunch break and only a few "breathers" in-between. 2) strong and fast. 3) relatively punctual Areas for improvement: 1) Estimation mistakes. Length of time needed for the move was longer than expected. Consequently, the cost was about $200 higher. Not such a big deal. However, the miscalculation on the truck-size required to move our belongings was a bit more nerve-wracking. The truck was slightly too small for the amount of belongings we had. However, to their credit, they made things "fit." The down-side was that a number of our furniture were dented and scratched. 2) Speed vs quality. The team rapidly moved our boxes and furniture. The compromise was a broken shelving system, dented walls, and scratched wall and floor.

Express Movers was absolutely professional from the start! The move was less than two weeks away when I called them, but the friendly staff secured an appointment for estimate right away and also the moving date that I preferred. During the time of the estimate, Myron was courteous and explained my rights and everything else in detail so to avoid any surprise later on. The conversation left me the impression that Myron was faithful and loyal to his employer yet at the same time, was considerate to the customers and had their best interests in mind. On moving date, Myron gave me a call to inform me of the team's departure and the estimated time of arrival. It was the Saturday of the week of record breaking scorching heat. Other than a couple of brief breaks, they worked non-stop. I had a lot of boxes, most of them books, and some heavy furnitures and appliances. They took extra care in wrapping and moving them. While working hard for 6 hours, the team-Myron, Keith, Daniel, and Jose-was respectable to their lead(Myron)and to one another. They made the job fun! I moved quite a lot and have never seen a team so professional, courteous, efficient, and made moving a fun and pleasant experience for everyone around. I have to say the moving day was the best highlight in this rather stressful move. I would highly recommend this team/moving company without reservation. In fact, if and when I move again, I would no doubt go to them for a fun and professional moving experience!

On Moving day they arrived on-time and gave a complete written estimate, which I found out is the law in WA state-they must give an estimate. And informed us that they could not charge more than a certain percentage more than the estimate regardless of how long the move took. Myron, the lead guy, was an excellent communicator and let us know everything up front- including when they would take breaks. We were very happy that we decided to use them.

Each time, Express Movers has been incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful. We have a massively steep driveway that makes any move precarious, but the guys (each time) moved things in and out without a complaint, and without a stick of damage. When we asked them to move our storage items (furniture and boxes) into our onsite garage, they carefully wrapped all of the furniture items and packed the small space so efficiently that everything fit, with room to spare. They even managed to move an insanely heavy folding treadmill down a set of garden stairs to the lower level. We always felt our items were well-cared for, and we have recommended Express Movers several times to friends.

They were pretty good, but they didn't reassemble some of the furniture correctly and i didn't find out until later.

They take great care in everything they do. They cover floors and furniture and took their time and were careful.

They were very good. We kept delaying the move and they were really understating. They showed up on time and the people were very friendly and courteous. They were very careful with our belongings and I would recommend them.

They had attention to detail, carefully wrapped antiques and other delicate furniture items and were okay with my husband helping with the unpacking/unwrapping process. We had to book for a three hour minimum, with an estimate of the job taking five hours. It actually took eight, with my husband's help at the end. We had a lot of delicate stuff to move, not just boxes of books.

This was a great company to work with; from scheduling my move to placing my furniture in my new home. This was the first time I have used a moving company and they were very helpful explaining the process when I called. Then on the day of the move Matthew, Myron, and Bill were very nice even though I was nervous. They wrapped all my furniture very carefully and covered the new hardwood floors of my new home to protect them. Every thing went smoothly, nothing was broken, and the total bill was $50.00 less than the estimated price. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
