They performed good work on our hand tied rugs. The fringe that was missing on the rugs they replaced and it looked great.

The only reason I gave then a D on the punctuality is that they overbooked themselves on the day of my pickup and I waited about 6 hours for them to arrive. (I should probably be giving the D to the City Planners and the horrible traffic problems being created right now in Seattle, but alas, I missed an entire day of work because of it.) On the other hand, they were right on time for the delivery! My tip: Just schedule your pick-up/drop-off appointments first thing in the early morning. : )

We took advantage of additional discount by moving all furniture. They did a good job, better than previous carpet cleaners. The upholstery cleaning of sofa seemed a bit pricey ($130 of total), but then again the sofa went 5 years without being cleaned. It was cleaner when they were done! I would use DA Burns again.

I've used DA Burns before I know how good they are. I made an appointment and they gave me an email confirmation and a reminder, which was great. The cleaner, Clinton, was professional, punctual and very pleasant. He really knew his carpet cleaning, including fibers, odor and stain removal and everything else. Despite all the dog hair, he was very fair on the price. When he was done, he explained the work he had performed and what he found. Unfortunately, the odor was still present a few days later so I called DA Burns again. They sent someone out right away to work on the odor issue and didn't even charge me for the second visit. I was very pleased with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

The rugs were picked up from my home in mid May. Because I was having hardwood floors refinished, I asked that they keep the rugs a little longer than they would have needed to (I could have had them back in about a week, but chose for it to be closer to a month). Every step in the process was handled in a friendly, professional, timely manner and I was never left in doubt about what would happen next. Generally, I have had these rugs cleaned in place, though once before I did have them picked up and cleaned at a facility (not D.A. Burns). That is the more expensive way to go, but it does a far better job. When the rugs came back they looked absolutely beautiful, including the fringes. They are fairly expensive, nice rugs that I have had for a good thirty years, so it is satisfying to see them look their best and give every sign that they have more decades of service in them. I had contacted D.A. Burns because that was the recommendation of another rug cleaner I called, once he heard the word "Karastan." I thought that if the competition thought they were the best, it was probably true! The results did not disappoint me.

We called another company about a month ago to ask about having our several Karastan area rugs picked up and cleaned while we were having hardwood floors refinished and rooms repainted. That provider seemed scared by the word "Karastan" and recommended D.A. Burns, so I called that company and arranged for them to pick up the rugs--I am not reviewing that work here because I do not yet have the rugs back (the delay was due to my request, not slowness on their part). A week or so later, I realized i also needed the underlying carpeting cleaned, and thought to myself that I had not been thrilled with the previous several carpet cleaning services I had hired, so maybe I should try D.A. Burns for that, as well. I was able to get an appointment for exactly the day I had in mind. We were told they would call between 7-8 am on the appointed day, giving me the time of day to expect them, which they did. The cleaning technician was prompt, efficient, proactive and did a great job. He spoke with me about the fact that most of our issues were pet messes and that we were clearly using a solution and technique at the time each pee or barf happened that neutralized the stink, because a wave of odor did not come up when he cleaned each area. Old, old stains came out, and the powerful fan the technician brought made a difference in moving air to help things dry. We asked for the rate reduction from not having to move furniture, and received it, though the technician asked if he could move the couch a bit (without charge), and did. We were told it would take about 24 hours for the carpet to dry completely, which turned out to be pretty accurate. Overall, they are not the cheapest company out there, but they did a wonderful job and their rates are not outrageous. My belief is that you get what you pay for, or sometimes, sadly, a bit less. I was very happy with this work and will definitely use them again.

It went very well. We had a problem with brand new carpeting. They had to come out and remove what was called loom oil that was a factory problem. We were reimbursed by the factory for the cost of getting it done. The workmanship was excellent. They knew exactly what they were doing. They knew exactly what the problem was. They handled it perfectly.

I am very very satisfied. The quality of work was excellent. They showed up on time and were very professional. They seem to care about the results of their work. I would recommend them to others.

They have a great reputation, and they deserve it! They are a great company, and they do what they say they are going to do. I’ve really enjoyed working with them, and will continue to do so in the future.

They are superb. They gave me 10% off. Whenever they come, they are always clean and their equipments don?t damage anything in the house. They are at the top of the line. They care about my things. I would continue to use them in the future.
