Description of Work: Very good all the way around. Julie the woman who does the hand repairs of oriental rugs is wonderful, clever and willing to recommend how extensive the repair should be, depending on location and use of rug. No pressure to spend a lot. And the rest of the staff is knowledgeable and very responsive. I wouldn't go elsewhere. (I took 5-6 rugs in between Sept. and end of Nov. on 3-4 different occasions.

Description of Work: Two guys came on time in a truck. I had told them I had two rugs to clean, and it turned out I had 3, but they said it was no problem. Inspected the rugs with me present, found a bare spot on my dining room rug and said that it would be looked at and I'd be called with options to fix it. I was called a day or two later, given clear advice and choices about fixing it (picked the most permanent and expensive which explains the high cost). Courteous throughout, rugs nicely cleaned. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: My carpet needed to be cleaned after a long long time since it was last done. I went with DAI used the DA Burns-Bellevue office because they were close and based on their reputation for professionalism. Each time I called them with my questions and concerns they answered in a friendly personal manner. There was initially a glitch where they had my name down for both having an estimate and for a cleaning. That was resolved quickly by making a phone call to clarify. The gentleman doing the estimate took about 15 minutes to measure the carpet space and giving us an estimate that was half of what we were expecting. That sealed the deal and an appointment was made on the spot for the cleaner to come later in the following week. We were not in any kind of hurry so that was fine with us. | |We received a call (as promised) at 7:30am the day of letting us know that they would be there between 1-3pm. The cleaner, Jim, was at our house at 1:15pm. We had moved what stuff we could to make things easier for cleaner to do his job. That still left some tables, a sofa, and two loungers to deal with. It wasn't a problem for Jim. He had his hose hooked up and was cleaning away within 10 minutes of his arrival. It was fast. The cleaning only took an hour and fifteen minutes (again beating expectations). The carpet looked brand new again, with one ugly stain that seemed destined to remain gone! I was surprised that we could walk on the damp carpet but we had windows opened and a fan going to help speed the drying up. It dried progressively over time so that by the next morning you would not have know it was damp. | |We are very happy with our experience with DA Burns and would definitely recommend them.
