They did a very good job. They got the carpets all cleaned and they were very good about protecting the legs of furniture and things like that. It was a very thorough job. The price was in line with the others. They were responsive, punctual, and professional.

I've heard of a number of people that go there. It is big, very professional, they know what they are doing, and they do good work. I find them expensive, but I've never tried anyone else in Seattle so I don't know how they compare.

They are a first rate company. They are more expensive then some of the others but their guys get the carpeting cleaned. They take pride in their work and everything they've done for me is high quality. The show up when they say they are going to show up. They are just terrific and very pleasant.

We'd wanted to clean the carpet for quite a while, but needed to wait until walls painted, etc, etc. By the time I called, the carpet was embarrassingly awful. The chair, which is at least 30 years old had never been cleaned, likewise badly needed it. When I called, the person explained the per square foot pricing as well as the discount for their not having furniture to move. The Burns expert assigned to us called the morning of our appointment to confirm. When he arrived, he walked through the house for us to point out which areas we wanted cleaned when we were sure -- and for the others we asked whether he thought it would be good to do them or not. He worked systematically, starting with the chair, then thoroughly moving from the back of the house to the front. Although it's a small house, most of it has wall-to-wall carpeting. The dining room, hall, and 1 bedroom were especially bad, but he worked at it all, using fans as appropriate. His report at the end mentioned the areas where the carpet is more worn. He gave us some carpet spotter with a sheet of how to approach a new spill depending on what it is. It's now been 4 weeks and NONE of the patches on either the carpet or the chair have reappeared. We could not be happier with the results. In the future, we will use DA Burns on a regular basis!

He did a very good job. The price was pretty much what we had been previously paying wit someone else. The experience was good. They did it nice and quickly. It was fine. They were satifactory with answering and returning my phone calls.

Excellent. The person taking the initial appointment was very professional. They sent a reminder postcard in the mail and called before arriving the day of the appointment. The person cleaning the carpets, Del Kahuli, was excellent. Del was very professional, quick and no nonsense. He went above and beyond my requests, even cleaning a few extra stairs and a 5x7 rug, no extra charge. After the carpets dried we notcied a spot that we didn't think was there before the cleaning. I called D.A. Burns, and they sent Del back out the next day. He didn't question whether we put the spot there but just got to work and cleaned it, no problem. He then progessed to steam the rest of the hallway, just to be kind, no charge. I look forward to using D.A. Burns again and hope that Del Kahuli is still working there when I do.

They were very efficient, prompt and well established. They did a very nice job and I would recommend them to anyone. They moved a few things around to clean the carpets.

Making an appointment with them was easy and they came on time. The work went really well. I have also taken area rugs to them for cleaning. We can have any wall-to-wall carpet converted into an area rug and DA Burns & Sons would do the carpet binding. They also rebind, reweave, and repair the edges of oriental carpets. I have always been happy with their work.

The staff was prompt and friendly. They explained the options and their relative costs. The staff spent plenty of time with me to help me make a good decision. The work was completed on time at the price quoted.

My son had an unfortunate homework mishap with a small bottle of black ink, with the result that the carpeted computer and homework room looked as if an ink grenade had gone off on the floor. I found D A Burns on Angie's List and called to describe the problem, anticipating a lost cause. The woman who took my call advised me to blot with a wet paper towel to see if stain would transfer to the towel. If yes, they could help, if not, they couldn't. The stain transferred, so I booked them for the next day. The serviceman called as promised, showed up when he said, and worked efficiently and very effectively. He couldn't remove all of the ink stain, but most of it is gone. I cleared the traffic areas in other rooms, and thereby received the discount for not requiring the relocation of furniture. Price met their estimate, which was way less than I anticipated, and the results far exceeded my expectations.

They weren?t very thorough when they came out to clean the carpets in my house. They didn?t move the furniture as well as I would have liked them too. They cleaned 2 or 3 rooms. I thought they could have done a much better job. I was not pleased with this experience, and I will not be using them in the future.

I dropped off the rugs, they called me when they were completed and the rugs were nicely wrapped and ready to go.

Company showed up during the designated time window (did call before arrival to give us warning). Was polite and professional and careful to not damage walls or floors of our brand new home. Cleaning took about an hour and was very well done - even though we had years of pet hair on the couches. Sofa and loveseat look good as new!

We have used D.A. Burns for years, for carpet and furniture cleaning. We have always been very satisfied with the quality of their work - when our children were small, they were always spilling on the family room carpet - D.A. Burns would get it cleaned when we didn't think it was possible to remove the stains. The latest service involved cleaning our dining room area rug, which came back to us spotless.

Recently bought a house and wanted the carpets professionally cleaned before moving in. Contacted D.A. Burns because of past knowledge of work performed by the company and a recommendation from our realtor. The gentleman came to the house on schedule a few days later. He appeared to work systematically and thoroughly. No collateral damage from equipment or hoses. He was responsive to questions and requests.

He did a good job and was on time. He left his jacket and asked me leave it on the back porch, but he never came back and got it!

They did very good work. They showed up on time and left the place really, really nice. I've recommended them to my colleague and he was also very pleased with their work. I would use them again. They are priced higher, but the quality is worth it.

They were helpful in advising me on whether it was cleanable, how it would be done and options for repairing edges and such. It came back beautifully cleaned with no more urine odor!

They are punctual, they pay attention to detail and price wise they are pretty decent.

This was a very satisfactory experience. I called about a week before Thanksgiving, not really expecting that I could get the job done before the holiday. The representative scheduled me in immediately for a cleaning to procure a spot before Thanksgiving, contingent on my approval of the estimate. The estimator came out a day and a half later. He was extremely friendly but professional, answered all my questions, gave me a written estimate, and didn't apply any pressure or hard sell at all. I agreed to the price(which seemed very reasonable)and the actual cleaning occurred the day before Thanksgiving. Person who did cleaning was also friendly, efficient, and very professional. Really one of the best service experiences I have ever had as a homeowner. Can't recommend this company highly enough.

We had quite a few spots, including wine spills and pet stains, and he got them all up.
