D.A.Burns provided day they would do the cleaning and then early on that day set the time they would arrive. Kirk did a thorough job of cleaning and removed most of the moisture with the vacuum. Finished job looks fantastic.

On time, ready to go; worked independently. Explained a follow up process for urine oder which prevailed at end of cleaning. Oder still persists despite our use of oder treatment. Sent thank you and spot remover in the mail

Very professional... we even had a an issue with two small cuts in an expensive rug we sent offsite to be cleaned. They sent a specialist to repair the rug to our satisfaction.

The service man arrived on time. We were surprised by how fast he was (about 2 hours). The carpets look new, with the exception of one stain that would not relent. He even got those nasty black stains next to the heating vents out. We would definitely use them again.

They get the work done quickly and well. They also added fringe to a tattered rug once and it turnedn out like new. Nice people to deal with. They charge by the size and measure the rug when you bring it in.

Cleaning and punctuality were fine. I don't really know what "standard" rates for cleaning rugs are, so when I got the $300 estimate, I was initially a bit stunned. The carpets seemed to be well cleaned, so at least I got my money's worth.

I don't recall the manager's name, but he was absolutely steller with how he treated me, how he handled the situation, and how he looked in to it. He was suppurb. There should be more costomer service like that.

They arrived on time and they stuck their estimate. They also shared information on future cleaning.

We are very pleased with them. We take our things to them. They don't come in. They are purely expert in what they do and know all the different materials and carpets. They are not inexpensive, but they do a very good job. They are upfront about what it is going to cost and what we are going to get for the money. When we get things back from them, unless they say that it didn't come out real well, we know it is going to stay good. Sometimes, when we get somebody come and do the carpet, it looks good when they leave, but a week later we notice that the same spot is there. My husband just delivered the boat rug to them last week and we'll pick it up this week. It's a rather unusual shape and has got a strange backing on it. It's not the usual rug. It's a snap in place kind of thing. We might find some fault with their prices, but given the quality and the professionalism of the organization that set it up, I am not sure we can do that.

They were recommended by our realtor as well as some friends and family, they not only did a good, thorough cleaning, they got out dirt from some remodeling that had been done AND removed a stain that I had struggled with my own machine for 4 years. They were on time and reasonably priced but mostly did the BEST job of cleaning that went above and beyond what I thought was possible.

I was happy with the service overall and would use them again if needed.

If we do carpet cleaning it?s going to be DA Burns. We have used them in the past. They have a good reputation. They are the pick of the letter. They do a superb work. They are here when they are supposed to be. They have the reputation in Seattle area beyond anyone else. They have earned it and they keep it. They deserve it. They bring in professional people. They come out, complete the work and hand you the bill and leave. They come out and look at what you have and what needs to be done and then they give us the estimate. For me the price is not the criteria when I get my carpets cleaned. Whatever they charge I can afford it. They are not cheap but they are worth it.

I had used DA Burns about 3 years ago in a previous residence and they had been great and the process painless. They had steam cleaned and successfully removed a number of stubborn stains from some old carpeting at a very reasonable price. This experience was not as good. For my new place, I had them come to give an estimate. At the time I told the estimator my concerns about the number of stairs, the need for care of the wall corners and my specific interest in cleaning under one bed. Although he took no notes, he assured me that there would be no problem. I took the area rugs to the company's workshop myself and they turned out great. Their odor reducing treatment was especially useful. The onsite upholstery cleaning was also very good except for the below detailed problems with the onsite experience. The onsite experience goes that was not satisfactory. First, when I made my appointment one week in advance they could not specify the time window at all for the specific day. When the person called in the morning he could only give me a 2 hr window. When he showed up just at the outer edge of that window he did not have sufficient protective equipment for the house and started to set up without it. I had to make him stop and call the company and complain. In general the technician did not demonstrate sufficient care. He did not remove his shoes or wear protective covering and he put wet equipment on the hardwood floor without protection. I had to get towels to wipe up after him. I hate having to babysit workmen this way. While the carpet was in good shape there were a couple of spots that were not spot treated and are still there. He also said his service order did not include cleaning under the bed. He did it anyway, but said that he should have been informed by the person who wrote up the order that it was to be done.

They are very professional and have a good reputation. We have been using them for a number of years. They are more expensive than many others, but always do an excellent job. They said it would take them a week to complete the job, and it was ready in a week.

The woman I spoke to while booking my appointment was extremely competent and friendly, and she sounded like she actually gave a hoot that I was calling them...that seems rare these days. She answered my questions and was quick getting everything set up. John was very punctual and presentable in appearance. He let me show him around to all the areas I wanted to be cleaned, measured up the spaces and was able to give me an accurate price before he even got the equipment out of the van. After I said "sounds good", he got set up and went to work. He worked efficiently and was very thorough. He did a great job. He even asked before using our restroom. I didn't expect him to, but I thought it was very polite that he did. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that we have a puppy who left some pretty bad urine stains throughout the course of house breaking, and John was realistic with me about the results of cleaning urine out of carpeting. ALL the stains, urine and otherwise, came out better than he anticipated and I was very happy. In fact, they're completely gone - the carpet is light cream in color! I'd rather be under-promised and over-delivered anyday. There were no chemical or perfume-y smells during or after the cleaning, which I'm thrilled about because I'm sensitive to such smells and I have a young child at home.

We took the rugs into their shop, which saves us 20% on their fees over having them pick them up. We reviewed the quality of each rug and the sizes of the area rugs we wanted to make. They had very helpful suggestions on the best way to convert the rugs and only charged us for the finished rug sizes rather than the original sizes. We've used them several times over the years for similar projects and they've always provided outstanding service.
