Engineer arrived to assess the possibility of determine bearing walls for remodel, we were unable to get into the downstairs ground level apartment. He examined visually indicating that there were NO bearing walls on the ground level floor. Hard to believe. Asked him to return to look at basement as that was part of original agreement. I subsequently asked the engineer to confirm that basement support supported his premise regarding no bearing walls on main level. His response: it will be another $280 for return visit. Unimpressed, disappointed and not happy about his reply. manner

I asked the engineer to resend my e-mails of his drawings on more then one occasion. My grandson had grabbed my phone and deleted the e-mail before I resubmitted the drawings to our city for approval.he most gratiously resent them.

John Apolis came to our church to survey our repair on Friday after Easter, and sent his report to our contractor and me wthin 5 days. We have applied for the Bothell building permit and his work is being reviewed at this time. His work will be a big help tword reciving ouremergency repair permit at a nominal fee .
