We were really pleased with the job that CertaPro did. I did a lot of research and Chris impressed me with his professionalism and knowledge and I felt confident in hiring his team. I was also sold on CertaPro b/c of the color consult that came with the package and picking a color for the exterior of the house was very overwhelming. Megan was extremely helpful in guiding us to find the right color and offered great suggestions on how to help us with the difficult decision. Megan was also super organized and always got back to me with questions and confirmations in a very timely manner, which I really appreciated. The painters who did the job were here on time every day, cleaned up and kept things safe for my young kids. We had a few things come up along the way like broken facia boards that they were able to fix and Megan even helped us to negotiate a few areas that were too expensive for us. I felt like we were in good hands throughout the process and the finished product looks fantastic. We are getting compliments from all of our neighbors and I would recommend the North Seattle CertaPro team to anyone and would definitely hire them again for any painting job I needed!

WOW! They were fantastic. They painted the house and shaved the house with the highest quality. We felt like they treated the house like their own and made sure it was perfect. Very nice work! Worth the higher price than other providers - not only for the higher quality processes they use, but the high standards they had.

The estimator came to my house to provide a bid to paint portions of the exterior of the house. The estimator made it appear they could do the work and said they would email me an estimate in a day or two. After one week of not receiving an estimate, I called to see if there was a problem. The receptionist said that they were sorry and would send me the estimate later that day. After more than two weeks, still no estimate.

I'm very happy with the service. I contacted CertaPro via their website and asked for an appointment. I was immediately contacted by Chris who set up an appointment the following week for Mike to come out to look at what we wanted done. Mike gave us good advice on how to tackle some issues with some wood columns that we wanted stained. We then set a tentative date to do the work a month later. Meanwhile, we were unsure what colors to use so Megan came by and gave us some much needed advice- no extra charge! Our house is a single story craftsman-style house with shakes in the front and sides and paneling in the back. They started the work on Monday with power-washing to clean the areas to be painted. Waited a day to give the washed areas a chance to thoroughly dry, then did prep work on Wednesday. Started painting on Thursday and worked through until completed on Saturday. Every day, they would start promptly at 9am and work until about 6pm. Four painters did the job. They were very careful and meticulous in their work. They did a great job prepping to make sure that the paint would not get on the windows or anywhere that was not intended. The painting of the deck railing was tricky so they did it completely by hand to ensure that it was covered thoroughly. Part of the railing was blocked by a few branches from a juniper bush (and a rose bush) so I appreciated that they asked me if it was okay to prune the plants before cutting. The garage door trim had some air bubbles from a prior painting so I asked the painters if they could try to remove the bubbles before applying the new coat of paint. They spent the extra time and the garage door looked better as a result. When the painting was completed, they checked the entire area for any touch-up work, then did a great job of clean-up, including washing the windows. Our house looks great and we've already received compliments from some of our neighbors on the job that was done.

What an easy process! Everyone, from the start, was timely, friendly, and very communicative. The crew was respectful, clean, and so quiet while working even our neighbors were impressed with the professionalism. When I had an issue with the initial color, Chris, Mike, and their team didn't bat an eye. They were helpful and patient as we changed the plan mid-project, and were so good about keeping lines of communication open and clear. I would use them again and will recommend them to others.

CertaPro did an excellent job. The "one-day deal" was not enough time to cover the scope of work that was necessary. When the crew visited the site, they recommended pressure washing first for best results. I also decided to sign on for additional work after their one full day of painting was complete. The crew did such a fine job. I was very impressed with the quality of their work and how efficient they were. And the cost for the extra scope was less than I anticipated. I would definitely hire CertaPro again and recommend them to others.

I received a prompt and courteous estimate with a detailed explanation of how the job would be performed. A specialist eased my mind by coming to my home for free to help me choose complementary colors. They skillfully picked a good weather window and kept me informed at all times as we decided upon a schedule to begin the job. The painters arrived on time and applied the paint quickly and neatly. Their clean-up was thorough. CertaPro is going the extra mile to co-ordinate with Sound Gutters and paint the soffit edge after my old gutter is removed and before the new gutter is installed. Very comprehensive from the outset. Chris was a pleasure to work with having detailed out the entire scope of the job and overseeing the process until completion. The work is perfect and I couldn't be more satisfied. While the price came out higher than other contractors, the quality and professionalism was well worth it and I will continue to use them as I perform more renovations.

CertaPro was great to work with. They were punctual, professional, and completed the work on time. During the week there was rain so painting was delayed in order to dry out the wood. The work crew made up the lost time by spending all day Saturday finishing the job. Another consideration is that we have dogs and were concerned about clean up. The crew were excellent in that regards, making sure that all the paint chips from scraping were removed, even in the rain and other materials were put away each evening.CertaPro also provides a color consultation service for matching body and trim colors (a bonus), although we did not end up using the service. Overall, this was a great experience and we would use their services again.

Ray was prompt, professional and honest about the scope and budget. Since we are retail business, our timeframe was pretty tight and days limited, Ray and his team accommodated our schedule and worked quickly and efficiently to finish on time. Thank for the great job you did.

Overall, the job was started and completed on time. Very professional group of painters. Ray Shanahan in particular who contracted the job was excellent in terms of informing me, taking pictures before and after as well as addressing on the job issues real time. Kaitlyn who works the back office helped us select the color scheme as I am an out of state landlord of this property. There were a couple of follow up items such as some paint on the front door needing touch up and an old framed stain glass window needing more touch up. Both items were addressed within 24 hrs of the request. Although on the price side they were at the higher end of the range, you get what you pay for. Our lead based exterior requiring experts coupled with the tenants recently having a newborn persuaded me to pick CertaPro given their Angie's List reviews and experience.

From the initial consultation to completion of the job, Ray and his team handled everything in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend them, and have no hesitation to use their paint services again in the future.

Ray, the owner , was punctual, very friendly and professional. Gave excellent advice, and was honest about pro's and con's of different options of how to fix the cracking and peeling ceiling. I decided to have it all sheet rocked and painted. His bid came within 24 hours of his visit, and was reasonable. He was very responsive; any phone call or e-mail was answered within hours. The work his team performed was of quality. They were super careful in protecting the rest of the house from being dusty, and cleaned up after each day. They got done a day early, and did a great final clean up job. I will absolutely use them again!

They did a good job. Very satisfied. Initially concerned that the CertaPro market machine would drive up the price. Turned out they were the low bid.

The paint job we received in our home was spectacular. Our house had not been repainted in 15 years so there was a lot of wear and tear. Our base boards and walls all came out looking brand new! We were amazed at how different our house looked after getting it painted by CertaPro. The painters were all there every day on time, worked very hard, and were very aware that my dogs and kids would be in the house throughout their job. They were so good at telling us what they were going to do next that we could really be prepared. The entire staff was professional and courteous at all times. We have already recommended CertaPro of North Seattle to several of our families and friends.

I made an appointment for a cost estimate on a Monday. Ray arrived on time on Friday, measured the house and gave me a hard bid on the job right on the spot. While not cheap, the price seemed fair, and I appreciated Ray's direct communication style and professionalism. I had some stain peeling on the house and Ray arranged for an expert to come and assess the situation and provide recommendations which I greatly appreciated. They also did a few color sample mock ups. The crew arrived as agreed upon and we're very professional in executing the work. They were neat, courteous, efficient, and did an overall excellent job. My wife also liked the crew, and we have both already recommended Certa Pro to friends.

The whole job went really well. From the initial bid to job completion took less than a month. The painting crew always let me know what they'd accomplished each day and what they would do the next day. On the final day, I expressed a little dissatisfaction with one area where the new paint was already peeling off. Within a couple hours, they had sanded, primed and repainted that area to show no peeling paint. All in all a very thorough job. I'd hire again.

Our experience with Certa Pro was excellent! Ray Shanahan, the owner, was very responsive and attentive. He provided a detailed quote which he went over in detail with us. He was patient in our process as we needed to engage multiple owners in making a decision between multiple bids. I now live out of state so he was great in getting on a conference call with the other owners and myself to get all of our questions answered. He even connected us with his designer/color consultant to help us decide on the best colors! Ray impressed us with his follow-up and attention to detail. On the job, Freddie, our foreman was great in managing the crew and producing quality work. They even replaced light bulbs and our pigeon screens for us! Since I live out of state, Ray and Freddie sent me many photos during the job so that I could see their progress and the end result was GORGEOUS! They power washed and then painted two coats of Benjamin Moore color stain on our home. It was a combination of shakes and horizontal wood panels along with trim. Ray's team is accountable, responsible and always communicated well. We decided to go with Ray's team at Certa Pro because of a great paint job his crew provided to our next door neighbor, not long ago as well as his great service during the bidding process, the fair price for the work and the warranty. Work started early (on 5/3) to take advantage of good (dry), weather, used every available (dry) day to complete the job.

We are beyond pleased with the service provided by Ray Shanahan and his employees at CertaPro Painters. Last year, our family moved into an older home greatly in need of some TLC which included an exterior paint job. We contacted three separate paint companies for bids on painting our home. When Ray arrived, he thoroughly assessed the exterior of our home and provided us with straightforward advice and assessment of the work that would be needed. He was kind, thoughtful, and thorough during the assessment process. Shortly after, we received CertaPro's proposal. We were impressed by the company's responsiveness and reasonability of the bid so we immediately chose to work with CertaPro for painting our home. Every person or work staff that we came in contact with in preparing the job was excellent. Our communications with the office were smooth and responsive. The paint color consultant helped us choose a color that updated our home but also upheld the integrity of a century-old craftsman house. When the painters arrived, they were professional and attentive throughout the whole job. An older window pane cracked throughout the process. CertaPro's crew immediately attended to getting it replaced. We were surprised by this response and very grateful for the service. When the job was completed, our home looked stunning and inspired us to start tending to our landscape to keep up with beautiful paint job. Even a year later, Ray has provided excellent customer service. When Ray was on site at our neighbor's home (who chose to work with CertaPro for their paint job), he quickly responded to our request for help putting back up a trim piece that was taken down during the paint job a year earlier. (The crew notified us of a rotten trim piece and took it down for us so that we could get it replaced. We were unable at that time to have the piece ready before the job was completed and thought we would just rely on separate contractor for replacing the piece). Ray contacted the carpenter he works with and the piece was replaced perfectly. We are so satisfied with our engagement with CertaPro Painters.
