I don't even think I can explain how appreciative I was of Carol's efforts ... her knowledge, her professionalism, her advice, her help ... everything! I would not hesitate to recommend her and would utilize her services again in a heartbeat.

. As usual with Carol, she performs her responsibilities in a very timely manner. I am so happy we found her on Angies List. I thought we were going to have buy a new computer this very day. My computer had frozen, the mouse wasn't working and when the computer did function, it was slow, slow, slow. She got the mouse working first of all. The computer was pretty dirty. Don't think it had been cleaned in all the time we have had the computer. Yuck. Carol was very quick to respond to my cry for help. While it took a few days, as her schedule was booked, she made an appointment as soon as possible. She was very punctual. She seems very knowledgeable, and even though we encountered some difficulties with my system, she continued working on it, trying various ideas to resolved the problem. She also made a number of recommendations to help my system keep working properly in the future.

Carol was amazing just like our first appointment with her. She fixed my husband's computer and set him up on the home network printer. Carol is amazing. Professional and talented. She is our go-to person when we need computer help.

I called Carol and talked to her about all the problems I was having with pop ups, and the need to move to a different Email service than I was presently using. She agreed she could help with those problems. We agreed on an appointment time, and when, due to no fault of her own, she could not get to my home in time, she kept me informed as to when she would arrive. She went right to work to get rid of all the offending ads, got me going with a different Email service, attached icons for easy access to my most used internet sites, and patiently explained about how to resolve all the remaining issues. She was here about an hour and a half.

She was prompt and very knowlegable.

Carol was very responsive. She answered my voice mail within a few hours, and scheduled a visit to my home within 24 hours. She described everything she was doing to set up the new computer, described options to me and made recommendations when I was not sure about the best way to go. She suggested websites to look at for additional guidance on particular topics. She has provided excellent service via e-mail on several questions I had in the following weeks. Her e-mail responses are very thorough and descriptive-I keep them for future reference.

Carol was endlessly resourceful in overcoming obstacles. Also, she multitasked brilliantly -- while a long download was in process on one computer, she'd use another to research problems on the web, then would switch to a third task to make sure no time was wasted. Tho many of the programs I asked her to work with were obscure ones that she'd never seen before, she never lost focus. Also, she consistently provided clear, jargon-free explanations of what problems she had discovered, and how she had fixed them -- very helpful because my computer knowledge is limited. She's down to earth, practical, energetic, and very pleasant to work with.

From the moment I called Carol until I hung up, she was professional, helpful, informative. I will use her in the future and recommend her. She did trouble shooting over the phone regarding my HP printer.

She arrived on time and got straight to work. We had discussion of the issues to be addressed. The problems were solved. She helped us establish an auto back up to an external drive as well. Very pleasant person and easy to deal with. Total bill was as estimated. Would definitely use her services again.

Carol responded quickly to my phone call, listened as I described the problem and suggested a quick fix to try before having her come to my home. I tried it and it worked! I so appreciated her friendliness over the phone and willingness to give a tip. I will definitely be calling her the next time a problem comes up with my computer and look forward to meeting her. I recommend Carol highly and without any reservation. She is friendly yet fully professional. She came in and got to work immediately and kept up a high energy pace for all the time she was here. She was great at explaining, offering options, and offering advice. Carol fixed problems, and saved me hundreds of dollars: 1. I will save $240 a year by discontinuing a web service I no longer need (more than paying for the cost of Carol's time) 2. Saved me a considerable amount on software purchase --- I had planned to purchase a different version of Office, and I don't need the "extras" 3. I really expected that I might have to "ditch" this PC and start again --- so very big savings! Most important of all, I am confident in the use of my systerm, and know that if I have any issues in the future, Carol is only a call away. I don't think anything can compare with a pro who is fully up to date on hardware and software, and who is willing to make recommendations and offer options. I've had on-going issues with my PC, I only wish I had called Carol long ago. It would have saved me many many $$$ and much angst! THANK YOU, CAROL!!!!!

Truly great experience. She communicated with me in a timely fashion to set up the appointment and showed up on time and worked quickly, which is important when you're paying by the hour!

My computer had slowed to the point where I either needed to flatten and reload the operating system, or get a new computer. I decided to spend a little to try to extend my computer's life for another year or two. Carol was very professional, told me what she was doing, and was prepared and pleasant. She found the issue and generally tuned up my laptop so I could use it satisfactorily for another year or so. I'd recommend her--especially if you were like me and needed or wanted someone to come to your home.

Carol handled a variety of issues on a desktop, laptop, and IPAD in 2.5 hours. She involved the client in decision-making and was an xecellent instructor as necessary. She's quick and uses her time and your money wisely! I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. In-home computer repair is always the most convenient.

My computer was a mess. I don't know what happened. Carol removed everything and started building from scratch. She gave me the option of repairing it orsaid that I might want to buy a new one. I chose repairing and am very happy that I did. it now works as if it were brand new.

It was a beautiful day when Carol arrived. She eliminated the virus, repaired the errors and deleted all the needless junk that we had accumulated, Carol fixed everything she could. Computer suffered some permanent damage due to virus, but everything is working beautifully. Totally satisfied and happy customers.. So glad we found Carol on Angies List. She was very nice and courteous. But she would have to charge a whole lot because she would charge us for the millage. She suggested we find someone closer because of the cost for her to come. She was very responsive. If we lived closer, we would use her.

Over the years we have hired a number of computer consultants to assist us on our home computers. We have encountered mixed experiences; and so when we were in great need for help recently we talked to a number of neighbors and friends in an effort to identify someone who had an excellent reputation; they reported experiences similar to ours. Then we turned to Angie’s List and found Carol Ivan and called her to help us. What a GREAT find! Carol had to address problems with two computers, a photo printer, all-in-one printer, Boxee-Box, in addition to wireless problems. From the moment she arrived, she demonstrated incredible knowledge and expertise and was most efficient in her use of time. She fixed all of our problems and accomplished this in less time than we anticipated. Carol also carefully explained what she was doing and answered our questions in a way we could clearly understand. When she recommended changes, she always discussed the implications of making/not making the change and made sure any change was acceptable to us. Carol’s fees were very reasonable. We were 100% satisfied with Carol’s work and we have already recommended her to our friends and neighbors.

For some reason my computer sound stopped working. I fiddled with it for a while, acknowledged that I didn't have the slightest, consulted Angie and contacted Carol. She arrived on time, reviewed the situation, fixed the problem. Then we discussed the various advantages of Kindle Fire, tablets, netbooks and using a router. An aged, redundant external hard drive from days gone by had been advising me that it was running out of memory. Carol assured me that it was not my internal hard drive, moved the only file from the external to the internal and disconnected the external drive at my request. Then she unsnarled the mess of wires between my Port hub, printers, and computers. Carol removed desktop installation folders that I didn't need. She could have been done in fifteen minutes but she provided these services in addition to the sound problem that was the reason for my request. She is a fine human being.

She is very smart, honest, knows what she is doing. She is very prompt as well.
