CAROL IVAN

I decided to go with her because I found her on Angie's List with good scores and she was a woman. I called her to set an appointment and she said she was going to be out of town for a couple of days. When she got back, she showed up on time, talked in clear language, was very quick and did what I needed done.

She fixed the computer speed as well as the security software issue. While she was waiting for a particularly tenacious program to deinstall, she helped me with other computer questions and clearly explained what she was doing to make the computer more functional, why it was necessary and things I could do to make it last longer. She charged $80 per hour and would have probably been finished much sooner if the program had not taken so long to deinstall. I was thoroughly happy with her work and her professionalism. I will not hesitate to call on her in the future.

She was as good as all the other outstanding ratings she has been given by former clients. She was prompt, courteous, skillful and totally professional. She quickly fixed the problem and checked for others too. She offered follow up help if needed. Besides her abilities she is a really nice person to work with. I am a thoroughly satisfied customer.

I called she came the following week; about a week's wait. completed the work described above. No problems.

Carol is amazing and I HIGHLY recommend her. She responded to my phone calls to her, arrived on time, was focused on her work and was able to explain technical things to me in a non-technical manner. She will be returning to follow up on the issues that were not resolvable on her first visit.

I had a 5 year old laptop that was sluggish. I called Carol to see if there was anything she could do to improve its performance. She spent 2.5 hours cleaning up the lap top, and it is running more smoothly. She gave me a few recommendations of how I could speed it up even more and had good input as to which would be the most valuable in my situation, where I was looking to buy a new computer in the next 6 to 9 months. She arrived promptly and was very professional and knowledgeable. She was thoughtful about her billable time, and she even reduced my bill by some because she said she felt she was talking too much. But she was talking because she was answering my many questions!

Carol was a tremendous help to me. I bought a new PC and needed some help transferring all my files and settings from my old PC. She responded very quickly to my initial email, and was available to come to my house within a few days. She gave me lots of advice about programs to help me work more effectively, back-up my data, work remotely, etc. She was patient and thorough. She didn't charge me for the few hours that my PC spent copying files. I am so glad I found her and will definitely contact her in the future.

Carol arrived on time and got right to work. She spent two hours going over different plug-ins, etc. to evaluate my computer's sluggishness and incapabilities. It turns out that I could upgrade my operating system up a notch but not to the most recent. She suggested that I buy the system and try to install it myself. There were definite problems with the login I was using and so she established a new account for me which seems to be working much better. There must be some corrupted files in my old account. If I continue to have problems with the internet dropping, etc., I will definitely consult with Carol again. Even though she stayed for two hours, she only charged me $40 because she felt she was unable to help me enough. How great is that!

She was very responsive and is punctual. She always keeps her appointments and is on time. She knows her work very well and is very knowledgeable about her work. She is very up to date with new modern technology. She is pleasant and patient. She is available and has given us some very good advice on equipment purchases.

Carol knows computers, how they work and how to make them function better.

The computer was getting more and more sluggish and I looked at Angie's List and she was rated highest. She also did house calls. She serviced the pc right here at my house and she left out the computer lingo and talked in laymen's terms.

Excellent response, courteous, professional, prompt and to the point.

Carol hit the ground running, and started cleaning the dust out of the tower, then she went through all the programs, and among the things I know she did was to eliminate all the protection that had been installed a few years ago. With all that gone, she re-installed only the basic ones needed. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to take their tower out for service, and leave it there for repair.

Carol arrived as scheduled and immediately started the process. She asked my priorities and set about the task. She was very informative and explained as we were going along what had happened and how I could improve my system. She gave excellent instructions on photo editing and also told me about a much easier program to use (free to download) than I had loaded on my computer. She was very personable but yet professional.

I was having trouble with my computer getting too warm and shutting off. My printer also wasn't responding wirelessly to the computer. Carol came out and worked for almost 4 hours, cleaning up bad code, finding and fixing what was confusing the printer, and generally streamlining my programs. She was unlike any computer tech I'd ever worked with: she was clear, patient, and didn't make me feel like an idiot when I asked questions. In fact, she made the whole process less intimidating, and was even able to talk me through a process a few days later.

I would call her again. She had good listening skills and responded to my specific needs.

We had three computers we wanted to donate/recycle. First we wanted to erase the hard drives to maintain our security. Carol came to our house the next day and went through our options. Due to the age and condition of the units she recommended removing and destroying the hard drives then taking them to a local green re-cycler. She removed them on the spot. She said it took so little time and effort she didn't even want compensation. I had to prod her to take some money, so she took $20 to cover time and gas.

It was wonderful working with Carol. I called her on Sunday and she was able to come over Tuesday evening. She stayed at my house for about two hours. Because of the slowness she gave me a couple of options that would take less of her time and some things I can do on my own to reduce her time here.

Carol did an amazing job, I hardly believe she didn't substitute my old laptop with a new one.

She was great. I emailed her after I did not hear from our previous computer person. She emailed me immediately and I explained that I hoped they would continue to respond and fix the problems but it never happened. Consequently, Carol came out this morning and everything seems to be working just fine. She pleasant, worked continuously and asked us questions when necessary. She answered our questions without hesitation. We would not hesitate to call her again. What a pleasure to have her here. Her price was great but she is going up on that price in May. She didn't answer her cell phone until she was close to being finished.

Carol was great. Tuned the PC up in general and gave me some basic tutorials as she worked when I wanted her to. We will definitely hire her again when it is time to resolve the last issue and whenever we have future problems or purchases.

Carol was very professional. She showed up exactly when she said she'd be here. She did a great job explaining what she was doing -- in layman's terms so I could understand. Which I really appreciated. All three PC's are now running fine -- no issues.

I found a good service provider that had very good reports. Very personable & knew what she was doing. No negatives.

She did a great job, was prompt, always did what she said she would, and was very reasonable in her charges for time and equipment. We were very satisfied with her service.
