Description of Work: Installation of bathroom hardware, angle stops, faucet fixtures and free standing tub, with shower. This was not an easy job as a decision was made to change from a shower to a free-standing tub late in the remodel process, which meant the drain was in the wrong place on the floor. Like the pro Jim is, he assessed the situation, accurately calculated the effort which made it easy for us to say yes, please do the work. Results are flawless. Work well done.

Description of Work: Water heater was leaking. They figured out it needed new release bladder tank on top. Didn't have one in truck, so he ran down to local plumbing supply store and picked one up. Very good service. Would definitely use these guys again.

+ -1 moreFrom the start, Carol Button- the Office Manager/Scheduler was a great communicator, getting back to me by email or phone (what I am learning is a rarity, I had a hard time getting return phone calls from competitors, don't they want the work?!?). Jim and his son arrived on time and were perfect gentlemen, taking off their shoes upon entering the house and being careful to close the upstairs door behind them so that our two curious cats could not go downstairs where they could escape through the open exterior door. They worked all day, through the rain showers and into the early evening, getting everything done and cleaned up after themselves. It is nice that they are a small, family owned business- Jim is very up-front and honest about the cost to do they job, he is not trying to rip you off and didn't make you feel like your job was too small and not worth their time.
Description of Work: Gas lines were installed to several places in the house from the outside meter, the hot water heater and clothes washer/dryer were relocated (old water piping was removed from their previous location) 20' down the same wall so that all appliances would be located together, water heater was hooked up (insulation placed under it/strapped to the wall for earth-quake proofing) and gas dryer was hooked up. Hardly any people I contacted would even do this sort of plumbing (gas lines), so I was relieved to find Button Plumbing would do the job.

+ -1 moreThe total jobs he did for us were: faucets and leak for one sink, howling faucets for another sink, and leaking drain pipe in crawl space. Jim also was asked to do a furnace cleaning but when he saw our furnace (which was new in 2005), he said it wasn't dirty and all the important parts are sealed anyway (it's a Trane), so he didn't do it and saved us almost $100. He also gave us a lot of advice for outside drains and water in our crawlspace. We think his work is fantastic and he is a very friendly and professional person.
Description of Work: Jim addressed several plumbing problems that we had, including one that we have had for over 20 years and other plumbers have said it wasn't fixable! He also fixed faucets that I overpaid another plumber this week to fix and they didn't do well.

+ -1 moreTHESE GUYS WERE PROMPT AND QUICK. THEY TOOK AWAY THE OLD TANK AND INSTALLED THE NEW ONE. THE NEW TANK HAD TO HAVE MORE UP TO DATE EARTHQUAKE AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND THEY MADE SURE IT WOULD PASS INSPECTION.
Description of Work: HAD COTTAGE CHEESE STUFF COMING OUT OF THE HOT WATER TANK. AFTER CLEANING THE TANK (A JOB I THOUGHT I COULD DO) IT BECAME NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE OLD TANK AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE.
