Description of Work: At around 11am today I went into my garage and discovered a river of water on the floor and the hot water tank leaking. I immediately turned off the main valve and went onto Angie's List to find a reputable plumber. I live in Renton and noticed Button Plumbing has a Renton address and has received several excellent reviews. I called and talked with Carol one of the owners. She had her husband, owner Jim, come out within the hour and assess the situation. The hot water tank was 13 years in on a 9 year warranty and had simply given out. Jim and one of his guys (initials MH) came back with a beautiful new Ruud 50 gallon tank and installed it by 5pm. I give Button plumbing an A+ - great service, great product and I love that they are a family owned business that also happens to be within 2 miles from my home. I will use Button plumbing again for sure.

Description of Work: My gas water heater failed and started to leak. I call Mr. Button and his son came out to replace my 50 gal gas water heater. The install was realitively easy for them. The water heater is in the garage.

Description of Work: They made a faulty repair but fixed it promptlly and repaired all damage at their own expense.

Description of Work: Had tried to get my irrigation system going, was getting no water to it. I thought the anti-siphon valve was stuck closed. Button showed, disassembled valve and found no problem. He looked for another valve box, and found one covered by mulch. He opened that valve, and I had water. No complaints on the work, but $109.50 seems high for 30 minutes work.

Description of Work: Last summer I needed about $12,000 worth of plumbing done. He came out and was very personable and knowledgeable and promised to get me an estimate. I waited and waited, then called after a week. His wife said it would be coming soon. No estimate by next week, so I called again. This time, she said, I'd for sure have it by the following Monday. Monday came; still no estimate. By this time I wondered what kind of work they would do if they couldn't even get me an estimate as promised, so I went elsewhere. It is ironic that I likely would have gone with them if I'd received an even half-way reasonable estimate.
