The locksmith was at my house within an hour and in under an hour had changed all the locks (4 doors, 2 locks each) and made the extra keys for me.

A key to our front door was stolen. Worried, we called Bulger immediately, late on a Friday afternoon to see when they would be able to come change the lock. They said that they could send someone out that same evening between 4 and 6. We had plans that night and were leaving the house at 5 pm, so they offered to come the next morning between 9 and 10. Showed up on time, around 9:30, and changed the lock in about a half an hour. Very impressed (and relieved) with how quickly they were willing to come to the house. Friendly, professional, and would definitely use them again.

Very well. The locksmith determined it had a burr on it, got rid of the burr, and it works just fine.

We moved in to a new house and received only one key. Suspicious we thought it was best to rekey all the exterior locks. We called Bulger and I forgot to get the name of the representative that helped us, but she had us scheduled within 2 days and it was even on a Saturday morning! She said our tech would call before he came and he did! Mark was on time, called before he came, and completed the job in a timely manner. We had 4 deadbolts rekeyed to the same lock and 6 keys made. Then I asked him if he could pick open a lock on my storage door I had accidentally locked. He did without a problem and only charged us $15 more. The estimate was right on and Mark was very pleasant and helpful. He even greased the locks to make sure they worked with ease. I couldn't have been happier! Then a week or two later we needed keys made for our lock box. Nobody else had them in stock except Bulger. We were in and out and on our way within minutes!

I hired a locksmith to install new front door hardware after a DIY attempt that proved a little more difficult than I thought it would be. The technician spent a couple of hours making sure that door fit well and that mechanism was tight.

Called Fri. got a Mon. appt. Went by the store on Sat to check on lock colors, talked with Mr. Bulger, told they carry most items on the trucks. Young locksmith showed up on time, after being shown the work needed, went to truck, 10 minutes later said we would have to schedule another appt as he didn't have the lock we wanted on his truck. I offered to drive down to the store myself while he started on other locks, as we live less than 2 miles away. Said they are over booked and said I must book another appt. Told him I was not happy and will call another company. He said, "fine" and left. 30 mins later, someone from the store called, apologized, offered to send a senior tech by within 30 mins. 30 mins later, Eric showed up and did a fine job. Very personable, professional, and apologized for the mix up. Would definitely use Bulger again as the true mark of a great company is straightening things out when there is a miscommunication or other error. Grades are for Eric...

They were great because they got the job done pretty quick and the lock they installed was high-tech and works just great. I really like this company and I highly recommend them to other people.

The company is very honest and in fact I was trying to put in a lock and I called them to ask a questions. It was after hours and instead of coming out and charging me after hour fees he explained it to me over the phone. I would recommend them because he is honest and reliable.

The technician was very polite and didn't object to my dogs licking him "hello". He finished replacing the shaft and was about to leave when he noticed, while testing it, that the knob was also defective and took care of that.

About 13 years ago, after an attempted burglary, I had Bulgar Safe and Lock perform a security inspection and install Medeco deadbolt locks on outer doors. The one deadbolt was becoming very hard to lock. They came on Dec. 26 because that was a vacation day for me. Arrived promptly, diagnosed that bolt was not aligned and was ever so slightly bent. Disassembled lock, replaced bolt, reassembled, tested. It now works easily as it should.

The locksmith arrived to installed a Charlie bar on a sliding door. Was able to installed and sawed the bar to the correct length. Bar was installed with little give to the door.

The locksmith arrived at the expected time, was courteous, explained my options, and did the work and cleanup well.

Overall it was a good experience. I called and set up an appointment. They were busy so it was about 5 days out. I never had to go to the store. The guy had the various lock models in his van, so I just picked one out. Took about 30 minutes total. It seems expensive to install 1 lock; it was a good quality dead bolt. Lock and installation was $250. I am not sure how the price compares.

I called Bulger a few days before and was able to quickly schedule an appointment that met my schedule. The locksmith they sent out was professional, prompt, and most importantly - he cleaned up after himself. We feel much safer now with our new locks.

My wife and I ventured to the storefront, and spoke with Joe Bulger. Joe suggested the best compromise between price and security, and scheduled the installation at a convenient time. Eric arrived on time (they call when the locksmith leaves for your house) and performed all of the work requested. He even suggested a solution for leaving keys for contractors. One small problem was discovered after he left with a strike plate, and Bulger sent out a locksmith the next day. While Eric was over, there were a parade of contractors through the house. He was clean, efficient and personable, and never complained despite interruptions. He cleaned up completely after himself, and was great. The front office staff (Sue) were very personable, and helped with scheduling and repairs. If you need a locksmith, use Bulger. You won't be disappointed!

On time, efficient with time here. Fixed the problem without having to buy a whole new lock.

BULGER CAME OUT VERY PROMPTLY AS THE SITUATION WAS AN EMERGENCY. THEY REPAIRED THE LOCK SO THAT IT WOULD NOT STICK AND TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE WORKER WAS VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS.
