Description of Work: video inspection of sewer line. Konrad, the plumber gave me the play-by-play as we watched the camera snake thru the sewer line. A few days later, I was sent a link to a private YouTube site where my sewer video is stored. Can download if needed.

Description of Work: There may be cheaper places out there but I think the price was more than fair, especially considering the responsiveness, professionalism and skill level. They were courteous and efficient for both the estimate and a separate visit to repair my busted pipe. Robert went above and beyond my expectations and everything was repaired for the price quoted. He made several recommendations and pointed out that my sink in same room had a basket with stripped threats which was leaking and swapped that out too. Nothing but praise for them - I should have just called them in the first place instead of wasting my time trying to fix it myself.

Description of Work: Installed two earthquake straps on water heater; removed sheet rock in sump pump closet in a neat manner to see behind the wall as to why pumped out water was coming out from under the baseboards; located problem = a popped out sump pump drain pipe; re-positioned and glued pipe back in place. The tech, Eric, was very nice plus sensitive to minimizing damage and mess. Utilized $50 Yelp coupon to get price down to $279. Based on calling around for the earthquake strapping, Bob Oates Plumbing was more reasonably priced than others for that service, about the same on a camera scoping which wasn't needed after all, and very nice on the phone.

Description of Work: I wanted my old toilet removed and a handicapped one installed . It was a wall hung toilet and the handicapped toilets did not come as wall hung. I received a regular extended toilet, and I added later a raiser that brought it up enough my husband was able to get off and on much easier. |I was disappointed that it was so expensive, as I had all ready paid over $300. They called and were able to move my appointment earlier in the day, which was appreciated. They share the video with you through YouTube.

Description of Work: The plumber from Bob Oates figured out the issue of a nasty sewer smell immediately and helped me to resolve it. I had originally purchased a coupon deal but it turns out that I didn't need it and ended up paying a fraction of the value of the coupon. The plumber was prompt, honest, friendly, and efficient. I plan to call them again for any future plumbing or sewer issues.

Description of Work: Several months ago my water heater developed a leak in one of the drain pipes. Bob Oats sent someone to look at it but was not able to do the work that day because he "didn't have the right parts." He made another appointment fro about a week later. The day before the the next appointment I called to check in and make sure they had the parts and the person there said some parts had arrived but he wasn't sure if they were the right parts and that the person that was at the initial appointment would not be the one to do the actual work anyway. They didn't seem like they were communicating or that they had a good idea about the nature of the job. I then asked them to provide me with an estimate on the job and that's when things got really weird. The person said he didn't know but the original guy would be able to help me with that. We agreed to cancel the appointment so that the original person could do the job or spend some time with the other guy to go over what was needed and so that they could provide me with an estimate. Once they got those things were settled they were to call me to finalize the appointment. I'm still waiting for them to call.

Description of Work: The guy who came out was very nice/professional. The only negative was on the follow up. I never received a quote for sewer pipe options.

Description of Work: Called with an emergency on Sunday...said they'd call first thing on Monday to schedule. Never did. Made appt for a Wed service call (2-4pm window). I called at 2:30 to check on schedule...they said technician was on his way. Never showed, never called. Glad I didn't spend the money with them.
