Got the job done but I had to reinstall water filters and still have plumbers putty around sink drain

Corey Whitmire was extremely courteous and professional as he tested all possible sources of water that could have caused a one time leak in our ceiling a few days previously. He ruled everything out so concluded that it must have been a one time fluke of our washing machine pumping air in its output that caused a small overflow in our washing machine drain. He estimated the work to make the drain more robust but did the diagnosis for free and discussed other possible remedies. We've decided to wait to see if it happens again.

TJ was the man! He came in and was great with our dog and son. After an introduction and brief assessment he got right to work unplugging our kitchen. Using a cable, he skillfully navigated his way around a 90 degree corner in our maze of plumbing (building built in the 60s). A wrong turn at the junction would have meant risk of damage to an adjacent unit’s plumbing. Under heavy pressure and a dog licking him incessantly, TJ successfully cleared a massive grease plug and created a clear path for water to drain. We can do our dishes in the kitchen now!! I don’t usually write reviews, but TJ’s customer service and expertise were over the top. He even gave me some life advice on recent contractor work that was done in our unit! You’re the best TJ, and so is Bob Oates! Thank you!

It went excellent! Very prompt. Great communication, I never had to guess about times, price or anything. Very upfront and explained in great detail the process and why things were being done without me asking. They were respectful of my home and very efficient. The job was done well. We are loving the new toilet and the new water heater. We spend more time in our house and having another toilet has been beyond wonderful. My husband hated the old water heater and the new one is so much better and was brought up to code. Thank you so much! We’ll be calling again:)

Most excellent, i do not give straight A's easily, knowledgeable, patient, very good at explaining the findings. Interesting that when i called another company for a second opinion and mentioned Bob Oates had done the inspection, they said it would be a waste of my money as it was highly unlikely they would find anything Bob Oates missed. Great company, great people. I also had them out in 2015 - they gave me a chance to fix a soft clog myself it worked saving me a few hundred dollars.

No-shows twice without so much as a call. I had to get in touch with them both times, after the appointment window had passed. Re-booked for a third attempt, three weeks after initial contact.

They came and tightened leaking faucets free of charge and gave us a quote for replacing them if the leak continued. No more leaks! I will definitely hire to make any replacements.

I have found my new favorite plumbing company! My kitchen sink got clogged so I tried the plunger, drain cleaners, and even got my own drain snake...nothing. The clog was too deep in the pipes. I called Bob Oates late Friday and they they had someone out by 9am the next day. Their names were Henry and Dino. They were very polite and professional. They set up their machine and had my drain cleared in under 5 minutes. I have water again!!! They even tried to put everything back under my sink. In my past experiences with other companies the workers are willing to leave a mess for you to clean, not these guys. They also wore footies and a mask before entering. I was so surprised how quick and efficient they were. I will 100% use this company again and refer them to my family and friends. Thank you Bob Oates Sewer and Rooter!

Excellent. There was an issue at first; but Bob Oates Company jumped right in and took care of it!! Excellent service. Friendly and professional plumbers. Recommending to all I know.

Great! They were on-time, professional, got the job done.

I asked for hose bib replacement but got something that is more of a valve with a latch or switch that you open and close. As a result, one of the faucets points out horizontally, none of them allow for incremental water flow, and they all shoot out water at such a high pressure that it actually hurts when it hits you. I had none of these problems when I had real faucets (with the "knob" that you turn). I had them come back to fix the work that I was not happy with and instead they tried to sell me on a $1000 water pressure control valve. This was despite the fact that I didn't previously have trouble with the water pressure at the exterior faucets nor do I have issues with too strong a water pressure inside my house. In addition their attitude couldn't have displayed more lack of interest in having a happy customer. This despite the fact that I have used them previously with no issues. Needless to say, they have lost my business and I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB because now I have to pay another plumber to fix the mess they made!!

Henry did a great job. He cleared a stubborn clog in the kitchen sink drain. He told me if I had issues, to be sure to call and he could come back out. Great customer focus.

TJ showed up on time during the quoted time window. He was courteous and professional. He had the plug cleared in no time. Before leaving he tested the water to make sure it was draining properly. It wasn't flowing to his satisfaction, so he snaked it again and found that some debris had re lodged in the pipe. After that was cleared the pipe finally drained correctly. TJ was very thorough and made sure the job was completely done and done right.
