They were on early for their appointment and did a very good job of unclogging the main drain of the house.

We've called Bob Oats before and will call again when we need help with our 1910 plumbing. Local, responsive and professional. Very happy.

He found no leak. But it started again the next day. No charge, like that customer service.

We were quite pleased overall with the service from Bob Oates Plumbing. When we initially had a blocked line that needed to be cleaned urgently, they were responsive, punctual and got things fixed on budget and on time. We then opted to do a major repair to our sewer lines -- a combination of pipe lining and pipe busting -- and were again very satisfied with the work. Our site manager was Andrew and he kept appropriately informed of the costs, when things would happen or if changes were necessary to the timing. He was very thorough in his planning of the repair, taking the time to find all of the connections to the sewer line that needed to be addressed so we avoided some headaches later on. After the repair was completed, Andrew also noticed a problem with one of the connections during the video camera review and they fixed the problem free of charge and in a timely manner. We appreciated their thorough clean-up of the site when the job was finished. Overall, we're very happy. After spending this much on the project, we'd be happy not to see them again for a while but if we need a plumber, we'd be happy to go back to them.

it was a little more exhausting than expected. but the plumber did a very thorough job. i had purchased a drain cleaning deal on AL but it wasnt valid for the job he performed and so the price paid was much more than originally expected.

Project 1 the leaky toilet was fixed but the problem happened again in couple of weeks. So they came back and fixed it free of charge. Project 2 - punctual and professional but I felt that they overcharged for a simple project that involved replacing the toilet with a new one. The coupons never seem to work.

Plumber showed up on time, got to work and quickly solved the problem.

I called on Friday AM (1/26/18). The guy was at the house in under 2 hours to look at the drain. He was not set up to do that job, so he had another plumber come out to give a formal bid. He came later in the day and assessed the situation and gave us a bid. We accepted, and he came the following day (Monday 1/29/18). Chris & Tad removed our washer & dryer (we're having them replaced on Thursday). They did the job in just under the estimated time. They were really nice guys, friendly & extremely professional. They hauled away the old pipes and the pressure tank for our hot water heater, which was also replaced. We would hire this company again without hesitation. Thanks for getting our problem resolved on such short notice and in a timely way!

A longer storythan this but in the end Oates said they had to install a $5500 cleanout in yard before they could remedy issue of a clogged line. Felt very deceived. Hired a reputable company who snaked the line with ease for $250.00.

Job went well. They only had to repair the hydrant, and they expressed that I saved myself a good amount of money by removing the siding ahead of time. Fix was quick and affordable.

I had a clogged toilet that I had previously augered, as well as a shower drain that I wanted some consultation on. Isaac was very helpful, and was able to auger the toilet with his larger auger, which ended up doing the trick. I had bought the $99 drain cleaning special for the shower, but after he checked out the shower and said that there was no problem with it, we just applied the $99 coupon to the toilet unclogging. Isaac was easy to talk to, and good at explaining everything. He also answered some other questions about the airgap connected to my dishwasher at no additional charge. Overall, I'd hire him again. The one downside was that the appointment scheduler said that he would come for the 12-2 slot, and mentioned that he should be there at 12. He ended up coming at 12:50pm, so maybe he was just supposed to arrive between 12-2, but I got the impression that he was supposed to be there at 12. So either the receptionist gave me the wrong info, or he was late, but either way it wasn't too big of a deal since they came the same day that I called.

They responded immediately, same day as called. Excellent service and very kind people!

The office called to ask if I would like their technician to come earlier than my appointment because they finished their previous appointment ahead of schedule. The office staff was polite and cheerful. AJ, the technician, was courteous, cheerful, and professional, did his work quickly and well. He even did some extra work for me and didn't charge extra. Plus I used a coupon from Angie's List, making this a very good deal, indeed. But even without the coupon I would have paid less than previous plumbers I hired. I will surely hire Bob Oates Plumbing again next time I need a plumber. A+

It went very well. Isaac, the plumber arrived right on schedule. He professionally accessed the situation and began work immediately. It was done very efficiently and with care to cleanliness! The price we paid was very reasonable.

I used this company twice. Last year I spent $4,000 and thought the sewer line problem was solved. Within 15 months the problem came again and this time they charged me $7,000 to replace another part of sewer line. I've heard that the problem might arise again because the rest of the line shared between I and my neighbor is still not replaced. National average to replace the sewer line is $106 per foot but this company charged me more than $300 per foot. It's just like robbery. I know it's a big company and easy to win trust from clients. But you can't cheat clients like this!

Wasn't offered a drain pan. An earthquake strap didn't fit the new water, so they chose to forgo it rather than adjust to make it fit. I used their Angie's List coupon for $895 water heater replacement with a complimentary plumbing inspection...the inspection wasn't done at all.

Successfully unclogged the sink at the last moment. Appreciate it.

It took several hours and in the end i still don't have a garbage disposal and my dish washer is disconnected and not functional. Plumber removed the disposal and then advised me the new one is a plug in therefore I need to get an electrician to install an outlet under the sink to install the new disposal. OK install it unplugged so it is functional when I get the new outlet. Then he pointed out the pipes going out of the house is too low and the previous installed did it incorrectly. It was functional for 12 years. He said whoever comes to install the new disposal needs to drill a lower hole outside to connect the pipe properly. And since we couldn't connect to a disposal, the new pipe he put in doesn't have sufficient connectors for my dish washer. So my dish washer is non-functional until I get an electrician to install an outlet, a plumber in to install new pipe (and throw away the one I just paid for), install disposal, connect the dish washer. This is becoming extremely expensive. So I'd say the plumber on site probably wasn't skilled enough to solve the problem.

Overcharge and did not put in as required the plumber was not familiar with this type of ghore facet when I complained for being overcharged John Peterson general manager told me he would send me a check for $175 half the bill. That was back in July we have had several conversations and emails about him sending the refund which never happened. This is just bad and unprofessional bait and swhich and just downright false information and waiting me out to go away. No money refund and will not hold my breath, if bob oates reads this just check out yelp about your managers practice I am not the first and will not be the last. I would be careful when dealing with the company and I have made the wa state bbb aware what is going on with this company.
