Description of Work: I called them to fix our toilet. He got here and said that they couldn't fix the toilet. I bought a new toilet and was able to still get the repair done.

Description of Work: Fine. Cost a little more than the deal, but the job is done now.

Description of Work: I needed someone to scope my downspout drains before we installed new gutters on the home we just purchased. I made 4 phone calls yesterday....one wanted $200, left 2 other phone messages, but then I called Bob Oates who had someone in my area and arrived within 15 minutes. They did all the work I needed at half the price from my one quote I had received AND THEN he even inspected my plumbing and gave some recommendations since it was a recent home purchase for us. As of today, it's been 24 hours and I still have not heard back from the 2 other places I had left a message for, but who cares, I already got it all done........it was quick, efficient, and Tim was truly a rockstar employee to have worked with.

Description of Work: Bathroom tub wasn't draining. Cleared it out in no time. Pleasant. Was late by 1 hr 15 min due to traffic accident on freeway. This was tenant's home so I had to apologize for delay. Price OK but saw another for $50 cheaper on Angie's list a few days after this one was purchased so wish I had waited.

Description of Work: representative talked fast, presented the worst scenarios in the scariest terms, proceeded to stress all that would happen that they weren't liable for that would necessitate more $ and searching for other help , condescending. then quickly whipped out the agreement with a pen and said "just go ahead and sign, we'll be out tomorrow that's the only time we have". I got 3 other opinions that were at least 1,000$ cheaper , they answered all my questions, were calm and confident and said to call them when and if I wanted to hire them.

Description of Work: Purchased a Big Deal for a new toilet and installation. The service was easy to schedule and did not have to book too far out. They called to confirm the installation window (12-2) and then called the day of to update me hat he would be out in the later part of the window. They also called to say he was on his way, but he did end up arriving late, between 2:15-2:20. Installation itself went fairly quickly and he mostly cleaned up, but there was a little water to mop up off the floor. Overall, I'm very pleased with the new toilet and happy that I bought the deal.

Description of Work: Removed old water heater, fixed floor (rotted). New piping from shut off to tank. Installed new heater. Returned next day to fix a leaking outdoor faucet and check installation for leaks. Even ran the vacuum to clean up some dirt he tracked in! Also left his cell phone # If something went wrong! JMF.

Description of Work: I've used them in the past for an annual clean-out of a main sewer line in one of my apartment buildings. Always a competent job, but have sometimes been late. This year I called for an appointment & was given a two hour window for the following day. They were a no-show and when I called I was told there was a scheduling problem, and it would be at least a couple more hours. I understand that things happen, but to not call and reschedule is unacceptable. Won't use them again, can't afford to sit around on their schedule.

Description of Work: Called in late December or early January (Holiday time-Not an easy time). I was calling regarding a side sewer. Asked if they do work in my area and they do. Gave the address they said they'd look things up vis city data and plat maps and get back to me. A few weeks go by and no call back. I call again - go over the issue again and they say they will drive by and check it out and call me back. Never heard from them again. Just say either the job is too big, too small or too far away for you to do. Wish I could remember who I spoke with....
