They were very good. They tried to match the owner's goal.

It went exceptionally well. Jeff (the owner) came out and gave me a bid and took the time to go over options with me and made suggestions for my project. His bid was much lower than the one other bid I received, and that other contractor was a friend of mine. The project started when he said it would and they even worked around us being out of town for several days. Jeff brought his employee Mike the first day to hang the sheetrock, which took 6 hours. Mike alone followed up on three separate visits to tape and mud the joints and corners and do the finishing.. They spent a total of 23 hours from beginning to end. On each subsequent visit, Mike showed up when he said he would, and stayed untill the job for that day was finished. High praise for this company, true professionals who care about what they do. I've hung and taped drywall before, with mixed results, but after watching Mike apply the tape and mud,using some special tools, I realize it's an "ART" and Mike was the artist. There's way more to it than a bucket of mud and a putty knife.The room looks fantastic and is now ready for paint. This was money well spent, and a great experience working with Jeff and Mike. Excellent. Absolutely beautiful finish in bathroom. They were responsive, came when they said they would. Very professional.

Taping, mudding, priming and painting all well done. 2 'accidents' occurred leaving one dent in a wood stair. It is being repaired at no cost to us. Contractor was very concerned and arranged for the wood stair repair.

When we first called Baldwin Drywall, Jeff came over promptly to give a bid (and also gave us a lot of helpful general information). We decided to pick BD because Jeff seemed so professional, reliable and easy to communicate with. The job went off without a hitch, the crew kept us well informed of the progress and we were very pleased with the quality of the work. Everything got done on schedule. Later on, we used an experienced professional plasterer for another project, and he made a remark on how well Jeff's skim-coating job had been done. Since they had done such a great job on the first project, we did not even consider anybody else for the second one. This one was challenging because there was a lot of kneewall area, corners and slanted ceilings. Everything went just as well as for the first job: done on schedule, very pleasant experience overall. Despite the challenging circumstances, all the walls and the ceilings came out looking great. In a nutshell: great quality work, very reliable, very pleasant to deal with.

The work was excellent and they put in the extra effort to get the job done in time for my wood floor re-finishers to get started. My standards are pretty high, and when i noticed a spot that was missed, Jeff and Mike came over right away and made time to address the issue at my convenience, free of charge and without hesitation.

Jeff and Mike 1 and Mike 2, were great to work with. They started the job on the day they promised, reaching the house punctually. All of them were very well-mannered and easy to have in the house, easy to work with and they ended the job just one day later than expected. We found them straightforward and respectful of our searching questions giving full information, even calling us in the evening on his own time. Sometimes we challenged the work and there was never a hint of defensiveness or him giving the aspect of being henpecked. Jeff cleared up our doubts with straightforward discussion. We said that we didn't want him to use glue or to patch the wall, we needed him to screw the board in and to cover the entire wall with new drywall. This stipulation was an unexpected turn for him and he quickly called in his workers to do this extra bit of removing the plaster entirely. They were, all things considered, quite tidy, keep the mess as well contained as possible. And they cleaned nicely when the job was over. We had some discussion on toxicity and glues and he was informative about new products that would minimize off-gasing. We liked Jeff personally very much and really missed him when the job was over!

It could not have gone better. The response to my request for a bid was very prompt, the work was started and finished as promised for the very reasonable price quoted and the quality was top-notch. As important, I was very comfortable with simply handing them the keys to my house and letting them do their work without me having to be there to "look-over-their shoulders". I can't imagine ever hiring anybody else for a drywall job in the future.

These guys define service. My neighbor has already used them for a project. Beautiful work, polite, HARD WORKING, get the job done guys.

I bid the job out based on Angie's list top drywall listings. I called in 3, possibly 4 different drywall contractors and several framers, whom the drywall people recommended. I needed to have a wall put up and pocket door framed in to create a separate laundry area, as well as have an 2 very oddly placed and cumbersome electrical boxes framed in for the eventual drywall as well as closet door to cover them. Additionally I needed to have a wall firred out to create one smooth wall floor to ceiling. Everything was to be drywalled with existing walls to be skim-coated. As soon as I met Jeff I liked his demeanor (I am a woman and often have to deal with being talked down to by many contractors, electrical, plumbing, flooring, even painters !!) Jeff was a great guy, very punctual, very respectful. He looked over the job, and e-mailed me an estimate which was in the ball park. He also recommended a framer to me. I was interested to hire a framer and drywaller who knew each other. In case they needed to communicate about the job, I felt it all would get done. When you bring in separate contractors to do jobs that overlap, often times you get in a "that's not my responsibility" scenario and since I was on a very intense time line and had a specific budget I needed it to go off with out a hitch. And it did. The framer did a fantastic job with the framing and pocket door and Jeff and his partner got the drywall done on time and it looked great. Jeff went above and beyond in skim coating the walls and was very conscientious about dust, clean up and fine detailing. I had to bring the electrical company back in because they installed the laundry outlets incorrectly for drywall, Jeff offered to come back free of charge to do any patching that was required. He even offered to talk to the electricians to explain what the problem was. I managed on my own but I appreciated the gesture. All in all it was a great experience. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. His price was fair, he did great work, he was pleasant, professional and took obvious pride in his work and his business. I wish I could clone him for all my other home improvement needs!

Jeff and Mike were amazing. They were on time, courteous, on-bid, and went beyond the call of duty by replacing our broken toilet handle and finding an appropriate cover for an opening in the crawl space. They managed to put drywall up where we thought, and other drywall companies said, it couldn't be done. We were very impressed and if we ever need drywall installed again we would absolutely use them.

Fantastic. Jeff gave me a prompt bid on the job, then returned as scheduled to perform the work. The work took 3 partial days due to needing to allow dry time between processes. He was fast, neat, professional and pleasant. I will absolutely hire him for any future drywall work needs I may have.

I searched Angie's list for dry wall contractors. I call two contractors for estimates. Jeff came to the house with his associate and within a few days provided a written estimate. We selected Jeff because he had the better estimate and we liked him from the minute he arrived at the house. He was able to start the job in about a week, which was fine with us. He arrived on the days he said he would and would call if he was running late. I was worried about the mess and dust this job would create since the living room is right in the middle of the house. Jeff did an excellent job sealing off the room and keeping the mess to an absolute minimum. It was a lot less painful than I thought this was going to me. The work was done over a four day period. They were extremely careful with our hardwood floors and keeping the work area clean. The ceiling looks great and I would definitely recommend them and would also use them for any future drywall projects that we might have.

Great! They made sure to fix the cause of the problem and I feel confident it will hold up better. They did a couple odd jobs that I remembered last minute. It was a busy time for them, but they were able to do the work a week later.

Jeff was great! He arrived on the date I needed and did an excellent job. He and his partner Mike were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves before leaving each day. Jeff patched up a couple of other areas that had holes from some electrical work and didn't charge for doing it. That was really great! We are doing more work and will call Jeff to do the work.

EXCELLENT. I can't recommend them more highly. Jeff and his associate were the most professional contractors I've ever employed. They were prompt, courteous, and so respectful in every way. Jeff emailed a thorough estimate and the project came in on budget. This was a dusty job and they managed to seal off a corner of the room so completely that we didn't even know they there. They taped paper over our entry floor and put down plastic over our carpet and were just extremely careful with our home as well as conscientious about not waking our 1 year old when they arrived. Of course the quality of work impeccable as well. I couldn't be more pleased.

Very well. All the work was done in a timely manner and they even painted over the drywall so that it would not be unsightly while we wait for interior house to be painted. Clean up excellent, rugs covered with a plastic material that sticks to rugs/linoleum but leaves no marks.

They did a great job, and I have absolutely no complaints about them. They were very professional, and they did everything with great care. The quality was just spectacular. I highly recommend them to others.

Jeff was prompt and professional and kept the area clean as he worked. The drywall installation was seamless. No one would ever guess where parts of the room were patched in. The texturing matched the existing drywall and we were very pleased with the result. We are planning to have him return for another job in our basement.

This is the second time we've used Baldwin Drywall and I would highly recommend them. They are the ONLY people we've worked with in the last six months that have shown up on time, been extremely kind and hard working. Finished when they said they were going to and did an outstanding job. I only wish I could hire them for more!!
