Description of Work: Did quite a bit of odds and ends in my home. Major part was to replace a tub and wrap around. They did it, but not in a timely manner. MORE importantly one of their workers chipped the new tub, tried to disguise it with putty, and then gave me a hard time about repairing.

Description of Work: Put together a Murphy Bed with the help of my son. Put together/installed a closet organizer. The installer was super nice and very professional. She did not seem quite as experienced as I had expected, and as a result, the job took longer than I had expected. However, the end results were very good.I would use Amy Works again, but next time I would be sure to explain the project in greater detail so we would get someone with a bit more carpentry experience.

Description of Work: Had a door that was sticking and needed it re-adjusted. The person was extremely nice and professional. It was a little pricey for the little bit of work that was done.

Description of Work: I called about having an insert built to accommodate a indoor air conditioner, and also having some plumbing work and a bath fan installed. They did call me, but when I asked about the best way to have the insert built (for a siding glass door) the person on the other end told me that they were a problem and that she'd had customers who said they "fell out". She said she would talk to someone else (Amy???) and get back to me. She never did. I spoke to three other contractors who said it could be easily done. I would never consider using AmyWorks if their attitude about their own abilities is so poor.

Description of Work: They cleared a clogged bathroom sink and fixed a broken closet door.

Description of Work: The task was installing shelving in a storage closet with old, lathe and plaster walls. Due to lack of anchoring behind the walls the job could not be completed but it did take the contractor all day to unload the closet, try to figure a solution and then put the boxes back in.

Description of Work: These handywomen were willing to do many smaller home repair items for me, including shopping for the supplies. Resetting a loose kitchen tile and grouting it. Caulking around the bathtub. Installing door stoppers, hanging photos/mirrors, etc., etc. See small stuf. But is adds up to a nicer, more livable home. They do the bigger stuff too for when you need it, help with remodels, etc.

Description of Work: Being very much a non-handyperson, I hired AmyWorks to come in and do several small projects in one visit. This included replacing a set of blinds, swapping out the over-the-counter microwave with a replacement, rewiring the new interconnected smoke detectors, and installing drawer pulls and cabinet knobs in the kitchen & bathroom. For all of the projects, I already had the parts, and only needed to run to the local hardware store for a few screws and washers.

Description of Work: I have had Amy out to the house for two different occasions. Once was to install a hanging bike rack in the garage, and the other to hang a TV mount in the living room.

Description of Work: We had Amyworks come and install some new doorlocks on our doors for us, as well as hang some closet systems, and other general handywork. They were extremely punctual (actually arrived before I did to one of the jobs) and was great as even though we called last minute were thankfully able to add us to their schedule. They completed the job well, were professional in the approach, and when any questions or issues came up were quick to ask before proceeding which was appreciated.
