Description of Work: Install ceiling fans. Steph and Carrie were exceptional. The wiring was not right for the fans and the ceiling was overloaded with insulation. They did an exceptional job!

Description of Work: Amy Works reconnected my kitchen sink/garbage disposal/dishwasher that had been disconnects by countertop installers (why countertop installers can't reconnect what they disconnect is beyond me!) Thanks to Amy Works, they got me reconnected in less than an hour and on a Saturday morning to boot! They really worked with me so that I could have water in my kitchen again. I've already started a list of other things I'm going to ask for their help with!

Description of Work: Repaired a damaged outside wall. Guy (Greg?) did a good job. I'm not sure what the cost ended up at because another person (the person that caused the damage) paid for it after I set it all up.

Description of Work: I contacted AmyWorks with a bunch of stuff we need doing, drywall repair, crown molding, baseboards, window trim, replace interior doors. Grace came and did the drywall repair about a month ago. She did a fantastic job! She was prompt, professional and very, very nice. AmyWorks was upfront with what they could and could not do. (I wanted some electrical wok done and painting) They give me the names of people who could do that work. They were very prompt in their replies,

Description of Work: They installed two bathroom sinks (we provided sinks), they provided and installed new hardware under the sinks and new faucets and also made a minor repair to the toilet.

Description of Work: Andy installed a ceiling fan; replaced a kitchen faucet and finished a television wall mount. The work was done quickly and everything looks/works great. Worth every penny and I will definitely use AmyWorks again.

Description of Work: Sent them pictures of dry wall holes from a recent re-pipe. |Their terms are clear: $75/hr, plus a $25 trip fee. The estimate was based on time, and they stated it would be plus or minus based on actual time spent; they estimated about 6 hours. This was all over email. |The guy they sent showed up almost an hour late; I called after about a half hour, and the person on the phone explained he had car trouble, but that he was on his way. Once he arrived, he did a very good job, taking only 5 hours, but when we got the invoice it had 6.5 hours of labor. When I explained that he only spent 5 hours, we first got a response along the lines of their pricing structure being different, and they wouldn't change it. Then I reminded them of the original terms of the "contract" sent via email, and we promptly got a new invoice. | |All in all the experience was positive. Joe did a great job on the dry wall repairs.
