This job was great beginning to end. The company was quick to come out and bid the job. Did the job when scheduled. Removed and hauled away the old fence. The new fence was exactly as described. They gave me two options, one of which was a better construction method and materials, about 15% more. I went with the better option and it was well worth it. The crew was timely, kept me informed as to the work schedule and met the schedule. They were very professional and easy to work with. They made some recommendations on site and added some treated wood without an increase to the cost to stop dirt from a neighbor's landscaping to avoid rot. Highly recommend this company.

They were professional and efficient, the gate is very good looking and well built with good materials. They cleaned up everything, including disposal of the old gate and posts. Took about 3-4 hours.

I did not like his attitude and let him know it. I was not wrong, who gives estimates on Sunday.

The original proposal, in writing, showed a fence height of 6" +/-. When I confirmed the work, he claimed that the bid was for a 5' fence and the bid was incorrect. They refused to honor the original bid - typical bait and switch in my book. A report was filed with the BBB but no response from the company. And to top it off, they left several large boards and rebar from the old fence in my neighbor s yard - didn't fully haul away. Quality was mediocre - I had a panel style fence (with top and bottom rails) and the bottom rails aren't straight - they kind of zig zag. In the places where it's an open panel (space between the boards) they sometimes put in 2 inch boards (should be 4 inch) because the spacing was odd - now those skinny boards are bending in the Seattle rain. Not happy at all, but it's kinda spendy to replace a fence....

They do what they say they are going to do and always go above and beyond.

They were willing to take on a custom job. We asked that the original fence be redone and they were very polite and had no problem redoing the fence to our satisfaction. Over all I was very pleased.

It seemed to take forever to get it scheduled, but that was partly because I wasn't as proactive as I could have been about making decisions, plus left town for three weeks the week after finally signing the contract. I had hoped to get it scheduled before I left, but no one from the company called me the week before I left to do it. When I returned, it took a while of playing phone tag with Dean, the new contact, and he couldn't tell me right away when it would be done. When he did set the date (about a month after getting back from vacation), he kept it. The guys were here when scheduled, and the fence looks absolutely beautiful. Really high quality job and high quality wood. The garden is a little stomped up around the fence, but they didn't damage anything big, just the stuff on the ground, which I suppose can't be helped.

They were great, they did a good job in matching our fence against our old house. It was top notch, there pricing was very competitive, and they were very clean.

The representative (Tom McDonald) came out to give a quote. Tom was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with tips on maintaining parts of the existing fence. He is one of the reasons that we went with All City, along with the reviews/reputation of the company, and the price of the bid. All City emailed me a PDF and mailed me a copy of the detailed bid, including price, map (on a grid) of the fence line, all the options included, and other materials. We had three different fence companies, all recommended in Angie's List, come to give quotes and All City was in the middle. After deciding to go with them, they scheduled an install date, starting a Thursday, a little work on the Friday, and by the time we came home on the Monday night, the fence was installed, everything was completely cleaned up (no debris), and the garden plants all along the fence line were not any worse for wear. I had a few conversations with Tom on some last minute questions/details, but that was painless.

Working with this company was a pleasure from start to finish. The rep. that came to do the estimate was prompt, thorough and nice. He offered helpful solutions to address the issue that our lot presented. The work was done on schedule, and the price was exactly what we expected. The fence is beautiful. We called this company because we had seen some of their work in our neighborhood. We did not get bids from other companies, so I don't know how their price compares. But I know that we got an excellent product for the price we paid. We just had this company give us an estimate for another fence. We were again impressed with their promptness, courtesy and professionalism. They actually advised us to not spend the money, as they happened to know that our neighbor was building a fence on the same property line. By sharing this info with us, they gave up a $4000 job, but they gained fans for life.

Excellent. They were prompt in returning my initial call and then worked via email to get all of the specifications correct. They were competitive in the bid and were very good with the follow through to get the job scheduled once we awarded the business. The install went very well and they were good about communicating with us when they had to delay the completion date by 1 day, due to another more difficult job. We are very happy with the work they did and would highly recommend them!

I like them a lot and I would definitely use them again. The workers were outstanding and the fence was built perfectly. There were no problems after the fact and they kept their word.

I thought it took too long to get their bid ($3500) and it was so high that we didn t want to do it any more. I would definitely have to say that this company made our decision for us not to have any companies do any work for us because you can t trust them to even be here on time.

Found 2 companies on Angie's List, and requested repair/replace estimates. (The other company didn't do the replace estimate, in spite of clearly spoken and written instructions.) All City was very backed up, it took three weeks to get the appointment, another three weeks just to get another appointment for final questions etc, and then three months before the work began. The friendly, knowledgeable sells agent (Rick) was excellent once on sight, but otherwise a bit hard to get hold of and even took a week to respond to my first email. He was good the first week of work about phoning in the crew's schedule, but "disappeared" after that. The installation took 3 days over two weeks, and was very well done. A bit pricey, but we got a fast, quality fence. Billing was a bit slow, and I actually had to contact them again to find out when and how to pay. Overall, fence quality is about an A, and the company was a B for some inattentiveness. They need to deal with busy schedules a bit better.
