Description of Work: Put "pigtail" on furnace electrical input wiring, and installed wall outlet for "pigtail" to plug into. Work was fast and very professionally done.

Description of Work: I had a problem with a couple three way switches and they came in and fixed them right quick. It didn't take the two hours, but that's all I needed. Great service.

Description of Work: Put in a bathroom fan. i thought for the price the fan was kind of cheap.this is why i don't like paying in advance.

Description of Work: AC Electric worked as a subcontractor to install a new panel, an outdoor disconnect, and some other upgrades so that we could get a new heater installed. They were efficient, friendly, and reasonable.

Description of Work: They replaced the original bath fan in our master bathroom with a Panadonic one which is much quieter. Will and his son were prompt and did the job relatively quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up as well after they were done. I would definitely use them again for any future work.

Description of Work: The fan they installed works, but it makes a lot of noise. I was under the impression that it would be very quiet. It's not much different from what we had initially.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal through Angie's list of $149 for two hours electrical work. I had them convert a 220 volt outlet behind my stove to 110, and install a hanging light fixture in a stairwell. They were easy to schedule with, arrived promptly, and were kindly tolerant of my very excited preschooler who watched from a distance. They had two people do the work, so it was completed in an hour. My only disappointment was that the fixture was hung so the seam on the barrel shade faces the room rather than into the corner, and there are some fingerprints on the plate that is attached to the ceiling. Not big things, but difficult for us to remedy on our own without borrowing an extra long ladder.

Description of Work: Replaced and upgraded breaker box to 200 amp box. Also, installed hot tub shut off and hook up. |I definitely recommend Will and Jr @ AC electric. They did a great job, and the price was great for the work that was done.

Description of Work: I bought a quieter bathroom fan. I am pleased with it and it was put in well. I wish that I had been consulted on the settings before it was installed since resetting it would need the fan to be removed. I was unaware that it had settings to be set, my fault, I should have researched the fan better before buying it and having it installed. I just would have liked to be told about the issue of settings prior to it going in. Once the guys got here it did not take long at all to get the fan installed, even though there had to be some modifications done with the hole for the fan. Overall I am pleased with the work done and would hire them again.

Description of Work: They installed a new ceiling fan in my upstairs bathroom. The electrician did a great job. He removed the old fan and |installed a new one. It works great.

Description of Work: I purchased one of Angie's List's special offers for $149 for two hours of service. There were two glitches in the beginning when they failed to show up for the first appointment and were late for the second. BUT when they did show up, they apologized and completed the work very satisfactorily. They were courteous, neat, the work was very well done, and I'm happy. I would use them again when needed.

Description of Work: They didn't return my call and the only response to my Email was "ok". This is a service I can hold off or do myself rather than having to call the vendor multiple times. If the vendor wanted a new customer, then they would've called back in a timely manner.

Description of Work: On 7/22 I attempted to contact JR as per my instructions but I never received any response from the company to set up a time. I tried calling again and left a message with my contact information but as yet have never received any response. I assume I was charged 149.00 for two hours of work but never received any response from AC Electric Service. Would still consider using them but as yet have not received any contact information

Description of Work: This was an Angies List 2 hours for one deal. The problem is that even though this seems good value there is not an estimate provided for the work done before they come to do the work andand being electronic work the customer like me may not know exactly what items to buy in advance. | |I wanted two new carriage lights installed at the front of my house linked to the porch light - all to come on together from dusk to dawn plus the fitting of a new chandelier in the kitchen dining room with a dimmer switch. The outside lighting proved more complicated than the store (McLendons) told me it would be and the dimmer I had for the chandelier could not be used for modern light bulbs. So I had to do without the dimmer and had to pay and extra $130 to complete the outside lighting due to the extra time needed. | |This would have been OK if AC Electric had been more administratively efficient. We communicated mainly by e-mail through Angies List and cell phone. First the person I dealt with had a problem with his phone and lost the date and time of our appointment. I sent an e-mail and heard nothing more needed to send another e-mail and make a call to ensure they were coming. | |After the job had been done I had a problem with one of the outside lights and was told they had left a battery charger in my garage. We fixed a time and place for them to come to look at the light and look for their charger (that they did not find) and they did not show up. When I called 45 minutes after the appointment I was told they had dropped the ball. They came later in the morning after my call. I want to advise other customers of my experience although other AC Electic Staff may be less inefficient. | |As far as the work done is concerned the chandelier was well fitted. The outdoor lightning now works well (it was a faulty light bulb that was the problem). However the carriage lights were not adjusted by AC Electic to the dawn to dusk setting I had requested when they did the work although I was told they were. I had to do this myself. | |I would not use this company again.
