AC Electric Service

I guess, AC Electric Service could have checked with me if there was anything more that needed to be working on here. Yeah, I mean, they found that one thing here and I don't know if this one circuit opened up... now I'm worried about other stuff from our house that might have more problems and if there's any way to prevent that here or just... an outlet behind a piece of furniture that hadn't been used in a year, so that's the one that opened up.

They were nice and were on time with a call to confirm time.

It went great. JR and his Dad were on time, reviewed the problem, recommended a solution and completed all the work in about an hour. I could not have been more pleased and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I picked AC Electric as they got an A rating on the site and a lot of people have used them. Called the number listed for them. I was twice directed by the person answering the phone to "call my son to set up an appointment." ( I did, but if this is not the proper phone number to call, they need to change it.) I had to wait a month for the appointment, as they were busy. On the scheduled day, no one showed or called. An hour after the appt time, I called the son (having learned the listed number is no good, I kept the son's number.) Explained to him no one had shown up. He said he would call "his man" and call me back. On callback, he said his man had indeed come out to my place, but no one answered the door,so he left. I disputed that, since I had been sitting and waiting. Son correctly identified my car in the driveway, to prove that his man had been here. I stated that he needed to talk to his employee about being more assertive in contacting me, such as maybe ringing the doorbell (what a concept, right?) He said he couldn't say much to this person, as this was his father (!). Son asserted father attempted to call me (not true, I received several calls that day, I checked my phone record, theirs was not one of them). Son said he would reschedule for next week, my day off, which happened to be Christmas Eve. I asked him if he was sure he was coming. He said he would be here around 9 am. Same story, no show. I called his number at 9:15, got the answering service, he never called back. It appears that people on Angies List like them, but I'll never know the quality of their work. It appears that they are not hungry anymore, and don't need the business. I will be going with someone on the list who has not been used by Angies List members as often, maybe they will be more interested and have a better work ethic.

Our front yard light was dead during thanksgiving break. I called several companies right after thanksgiving. However, they were all booked solid. Then I found AC. I called them and got the app as early as they could( 2 days later). They came and fixed my light. Very professional and friendly. Really appreciate.

It was excellent. It was a father and son that came, they identified a problem that I was having and are coming back soon to do more work!

I did have difficulty booking this - I had to leave a couple messages before he got back to me. However when we did set up the time, he was right on time, got everything done I asked for, explained why the previous dimmers were not the right kind.

They were very prompt in responding to my call, coming out that same afternoon. They didn't have the right box for the connection, however, so after some phone calls to locate it, I went to the store and bought the box. That led to an additional time charge for the work.

There was some initial difficulty getting a response, but then the install went fine. Love my fan.

It was quite a lot of work they did, and they did a great job. They were very competent and honest.

It went well. They had a little extra time at the end of the 2 hours and we were able to ask them questions about other possible work we wanted done. Great warnings about a few things, like the electrical panel.

They were professional and efficient. The work was well done. The owner and his father were easy to work with and very pleasant.

They arrived EARLY (nice!) and were in and out in 15 minutes!

They were punctual, the actual work done was great, they were fast and the fan works really really well. They were a bit put out and condescending when I showed them the fan I wanted replaced and they realized it was a fan with a light, which is apparently different than what they advertised and more expensive. Not being an expert on fans or lighting I didn't know the difference and was willing to pay more, but they made a snide comment "that's why we ask questions," and became very brusque with me. I did find a fan they could replace upstairs and I am very happy with it, however, I would not have them back.

I do not understand why I am not hearing back--I paid the $49 and have never heard from this company, AC Electric or from Angie's List.

I had issues contacting the provider because he wanted to be contacted at a certain time, which I did do and was able to speak with him once and was told he couldn't set up an appointment at the time. The other numbers mailbox was full so I was unable to leave him a message as he requested. It was very difficult and frustrating to schedule this deal, so I have requested a refund and will have the work done by someone else.

We purchased a $149 deal on Angie's List for 2 hours of electrical labor. The process was great. They came out determined what the problem was and fixed the outlet.

this was an Angie's special coupon - they came on time, did the work promptly without fuss and got out of there without any hassle.

Another Big Deal gone well. Was responsive, showed up on time, and installed a new bathfan. Also gave us information on proper ventilation for the bathroom.

This father-son duo have worked together for many years and did an excellent & efficient job!

The installation went well and it’s held up fine since then. There were no issues with scheduling, and they were right on time. They did the work quickly and there were no issues. They were very professional, too.
