From beggining to end, this has been a rewarding move with Aaron glide. Chris, our phone contact, did a very thorough assessment of our possessions over the phone and came in with an estimate for their services, which was acceptable to us. They arrived when they said they would, and actually did the work faster than projected, resulting in a substantial savings from the estimate. Chris also checked in with us after the move to assure we were satisfied. I'd absolutely recommend the services of Aaron Glide and would use them again in a heartbeat.

As always when I have used Aaron Glide, the move went perfectly. The two movers assigned to me were congenial, knowledgeable, skilled and strong. They were efficient and excellent to work with. They arrived at my house at the scheduled time, 9:45 a.m. with the truck and had my furniture packed, moved and in my new condominium in less than five hours. No scratches to any furniture or walls occurred during the move. Everything was well padded, shrink wrapped and secured for the trip between homes. Nothing was lost or misplaced in this move unlike my experience with previous moving companies including a very well known and highly advertised one. I strongly recommend Aaron Glide as the best possible choice for a moving company anyone could make that lives in the Puget Sound Area even if your move requires out of town or out of state travel. Aaron Glide is THE BEST EVER!!!!

With this company you rent the truck and they pick it up. They were at the house promptly and worked without a break until the job got done. The most important things were that nothing got broken, walls were not scratched in either house, and the carpets stayed clean. It was relatively stress free. The only funny bit was that they finished the job at 7pm and my husband noticed they had billed us until 9pm. They corrected the situation and we did not have to pay for those two extra hours.

The young men were pleasant, competent in preparing and loading furniture etc. They were in Sequim earlier than I anticipated, which was very nice! The loading was done in 45 min, and they were on their way. Apparently they took another route, and a lunch break, and went first to the Sammamish place, which was not the way the furniture was loaded on the truck, and also didn't include pieces needed to be picked up in Bellevue. They came back to Bellevue, unloaded, reloaded, and also assisted my husband in re-arranging some pieces here. Then back to Sammamish to unload a sleeper sofa up 2 flights of stairs, and also a heavy dresser and chest of drawers and queen mattress. They were energetic and cooperative and got the job done- even though it took them all day, trips all over western WA, and they expended a lot of effort. we are totally pleased with Aaron Glide movers- if we have the need, we will call them again, and would certainly recommend them. The price was very fair and reasonable, and dealing with Chris in the office has been a pleasure. He is responsive and highly organized and clear in his questions, answers, etc. We had overpaid, due to a mis-understanding on my part, and got a phone call within hours, telling me this, and sending me the refund immediately.

It went quickly and smoothly. Chris, the owner went out of his way to accomodate our move with very little advance notice. He managed to squeeze us in betwenn another move in the same area.

I called about 2 weeks before the move and Chris the owner gave me an estimate that was pretty much right on. He explained how they do not provide the truck but gave me the size I should reserve. I was pretty nervous about reserving a truck and have someone else drive it, but it turned out OK. The 3 guys arrived pretty close to exactly when I was told to expect them. The first thing they did after introducing themselves was roll out the red carpets to protect my floors. They also draped moving blankets around the staircases to protect the railing and walls. The loading was a bit tricky since I had both inside and outdoor furniture. In the end, they were able to fit everything in the truck. they also helped us take apart our sleep number adjustable bed off the bed frame. The guys were friendly, professional and fast. The whole move took a bit over 5 hours. We are totally happy with their work and have no reservation in recommending them. We don't plan to move again soon, but if we did, I would use them again.

For years I wanted new carpeting installed, but did not have the resources to empty 25 years of accumulated furnishings and posessions to make this even possible. Christopher Genis, owner of Aaron Glide, made this a reality for me. We supplied the truck, and Chris sent Rick and Ben to do all the work. From packing to loading and two days later unloading again, these guys were totally on top of it. They carefully wrapped and packed up 5 rooms, including very heavy furniture; disassembled a closet system and a huge roll-top desk; moved it all out into our rented truck -- then reassembled and put it all back again once the carpeting was installed. They were fast, efficient, and treated my belongings as if they were their own. During the move back in carpet runners were placed over the new carpeting to protect it from getting dirty. The couch was wrapped up to keep it from getting damaged as they manuvered the beast up stairs and through the doorway. Boxes were labeled so they were returned to the right rooms, and they made sure that everything was exactly where I wanted it before we called it a day. Never again will I put off something because I can't do the moving -- Aaron Glide can do it for me!

Chris was overall very professional. Worked with me on price and timing. Called the morning of the move to let me know that movers were on their way. Movers were young (college age) and very energetic and polite. They constantly asked questions about where things should go and didn't waste time. They were careful not to damage goods or the house. Because I had a lot of help moving, the work went faster than originally planned. The workers spent 2 hours in transit and 2 hours working. I was surprised that I was charged for a total of 6 hours initially. I had to call Chris to resolve the issue. There was a 4 hour labor minimum (which I did not understand) plus 1 hour for transit (which I previously understood). After a rather uncomfortable conversation and an otherwise perfect experience, we came to a reasonable resolution in which I paid for 2 hours labor (instead of 4) and 2 hours transit time (instead of 1 hour).

We hired 3 men to help unload our moving truck from an interstate move. From the outset the communication with the company was good - easy to get hold of & they called to confirm. They recommended 3 men based on description of items, which was exactly what we needed. They arrived on time and ready to work. They were polite and professional throughout. We had a ton of stairs outside the home and another flight inside - there were no complaints, and despite the difficult move they remained professional and worked very hard. The unloading went better and quicker than expected with no damage to belongings or the home. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and will use them again in the future.

Fantastic, motivated movers. They were fast and efficient but took the time with each difficult item to determine a strategy, coordinate and communicate with eachother. We started the day at our new house unloading the POD, they were done in about 1.5 hrs - really fast! We then traveled to the old house, they loaded the truck with our furniture, went to new house and unloaded then repeated for another 1/2 load. They started at 9AM and were driving away at 3:30. This was our best move ever, so grateful for their manpower and the level of professionalism that they performed it in. Everything ended up in the right place. We had a few very large items that they made effort to move, but determined we needed to take them apart. I appreciated this - that they didn't just plow ahead knowing damage would occur. Friendly and very well coordinated with eachother. Also really happy with the estimate process - surprisingly accurate - saved us alot of possible headaches! We didn't have to work along side them to pack the truck - they had the whole thing under control, this gave us more energy to make sure everything was going to the right place and that nothing was left behind.

The 2 guys who moved our furniture did an excellent job. They were careful, wrapped everything in Saran wrap & worked quickly. I was also pleased that they spent a few minutes making sure that the furniture was arranged the way I wanted it to be rather than just dump and run. The only hitch was picking up the wrong size truck to start with, but returned the truck right away and came back with the bigger truck. Chris was great to speak with on the phone and put my mind at ease as to their way of moving. I have never had to hire a truck for movers before, but it makes perfect sense to hire the labor and the truck. It certainly was much less expensive than the big moving companies and I think they did a better job as well. Many thanks to Chris and the guys for all the hard work. We appreciated your attention to detail and honest approach.

Great. Though not a complaint, as it is much my fault as anyones, the only thing I wish had gone differently is the time estimate. I have a somewhat atypical bunch of stuff (furniture and such), so I think the level of effort estimated was low. Perhaps an on-site estimate would have helped. The truck had to make 2 runs to the storage unit, and the stuff barely fit in the unit size estimated as sufficent.

They were very efficient, very careful and very thorough. I absolutely would use this company again. However, in the budgeting department, I did not understand that there would be an extra 2 or 2.5 hours added for picking up/dropping off the moving truck, since the vehicle was located only about 10 or 15 minutes away. So I was surprised by the price.

As described above, they were great! I would definately use them again (although I dont plan on moving for a while).

We requested the drivers to make an extra stop to drop off some furniture before coming to our home with the delivery. This took extra time and more miles, but they were very accommodating. They packed the truck in Seattle one day and drove and delivered in Portland the next, and then drove back to Seattle. It was a very long day for them. We would definitely use this company and men again.

The team was punctual, polite and very professional. They were very careful with everything (I have a number of antiques) and happily set up the heavy items as we asked. I really couldn't have been happier with their service, attitude, etc.

I called them up over the phone, and they were very professional. They explained how their service worked, what they would provide, what I would need to provide, and what to expect. A quote was given based on the information I gave them. I was impressed with the level of detail they provided so there were no surprises.

These movers require you to rent your own truck, which I did and picked up before they arrived. They were scheduled to arrive at 9am, I got a little worried at 8:58 that they might make me wait, but sure enough, exactly 9am two movers from Aaron Glide arrived with a substantial amount of their own moving supplies - dollies, hand trucks, furniture blankets, clear plastic wrap. After a brief tour they got to work and loaded the truck in about an hour and a half. I was hoping they could drive the truck to the new location so that I could also move a car there, but they informed me that they were to young. Not too big a problem, I actually expected that I'd have to drive the truck. During the move in one of them made an accidental nick in the paint on a corner. It was so small I probably wouldn't have noticed it, but he mentioned it to me anyways so there wouldn't be any surprised. Overall, very impressed. I've used other movers in the past, and these guys beat them all out in the quality of their work.

The move went well. The movers arrived on time and worked with care in handling of our furniture and boxes. They did a great job of making sure the correct items went to storage and the correct items went to the condo. There was a minor glitch in that, even though they thought they'd be able to get everything into the 24 foot truck, some items in the garage did not fit. We ended up getting a small U-haul and finished the move by moving the last bit ourselves.

I chose this company because I wanted a company which could move my piano as well as my large furniture. The bulk of the move we did ourselves. I reserved the truck but the guys picked it up and returned it. They arrived on time and packed everything including the piano very professionally. Once at the new house everything was placed appropriately as I requested and the piano set up. I was very pleased with the job and work quality.

We are currently working on our resolution. We are just pleased with Chris and Aaron Glide Self Movers because they provided a quality move (no damage) and reasonable price. We picked up our U-Haul at 8am, and the Aaron Glide team arrived promptly at 9am with four strong men. While one of them helped expertly pack our kitchen (which we didn't finish packing), the other three loaded the truck. We had so much more stuff than we thought, it took two trips in a 24' truck to our new house 7 miles away, even with the truck very efficiently packed. They were very careful to pad everything and not track dirt into the old or new houses. Nothing was damaged, and they always checked with us if they had any questions along the way. They carefully planned the logistics of moving items, and employed thoughtful techniques for getting big objects through tight spaces. It took 11 hours to complete the job: more than we'd anticipated, but given how much they moved, it was amazing. We would highly recommend this local, family-owned company, and we have no complaints whatsoever to report.

They were good and moved well. They were careful and they didn't bump or scratch anything. They were very efficient. They were flexible about us changing where things would be located. The price was reasonable for the service.

Every part of the move was exceptionally professional. The movers concentrated on customer satisfaction and really wanted to please. They caused nearly no damage to the items being moved or to the apartment being moved from or the house being moved to. This seemed very difficult since we had some large items fitting through tight entryways going upstairs and down to the basement. Their driver parallel parked the 24 foot rented truck better than most people with small vehicles. Just can't believe how positive the team was that moved us and how accommodating the management and team was especially since the move took a long time since we had two pickup locations and an unscheduled pickup because of the broken down elevator. Always smiles and still concerned about where the belongings should go. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again in the future.
