This job was a 3-bedroom move across town - mostly furniture - from a 3-story townhome. John, Lonnie and David showed on time, were personable, worked very diligently and overall the move went smoothly, without surprises despite a couple of challenging pieces.I would definitely ask for their help again.

Had a great expeince with the movers, they arrived early and well prepared with had trucks blankets etc. We also had somewhat of a non traditional move as we were leaving many peices behind for a moving sale. This requred close coordination between us and the movers but they really took it in stride. I think they were a bit surprised by how much stuff we had! Many Kudos to Lonnie, Ben and Brandon for the great effort on the move during the warmest day of the year! (So far anyway).

Went well. The movers were on time, professional, efficient, and VERY careful with our belongings.

My experience with Aaron Glide was excellent from start to finish. They were very organized and helpful over the phone arranging everything, and making sure I had everything I needed to be ready. They helped me rent the truck and promptly mailed me a checklist of items to think about. On the moving day, the three man crew was on time, very professional and cleared knew what they were doing. They assessed the full job, and spent time prepping the furniture and getting oprganized before starting the move. All the furniture was shrink wrapped for protection and all of it was moved quickly and efficiently without any damage. The crew was friendly and professional and I could not have asked for anything more from them or from the owner who handled the transaction over the phone. Great service, I'm very happy!

From the beginning contact with Chris Genis to the last box moved this was a good experience with moviing (if that is possible). They were prompt ,never wasted time and were very careful with the contents of our household - put protectors down on the floors - so no dirt or scratches. They were friendly and polite. We will definitely use them again!!

The movers were prompt and worked hard. We had three men move all the heavy things in our home. They were careful and considerate. If needed, I would use this company again.

As stressful as moving is, Aaron Glide made it less so. Chris did an excellent and professional job explaining their services, pricing and supplies (truck size, packing blankets, rope, etc.) we would need to make the move. They were able to accomodate our move date and Chris phoned to confirm on Monday before the Friday service. Lonnie, John and Matt did a professional job wrapping and loading furniture/applianes, boxes and belongings in to the truck. They were careful with heavy antiques and once we unloaded, noticed very little damage.

Chris took all the info and scheduled the move. We changed the date a week later and he was most gracious. John, Matt and Lonnie arrived on time at the storage place...and with extreme care unloaded the poorly packed storage space. The antique items were covered by this team and carefully loaded onto the truck. When the truck was unloaded it was a sight to see..these 3 men hustled with care. We were done on time, on estimate target price. We couldn't have been happier. John and Matt took off and Lonnie stayed to help, after my hubby went out to get missing parts to set up our bed...Thank you Lonnie. We will be calling Chris again..this outfit meets our needs 100%

The two young men that actually did the work were on time and very professional. They unloaded the POD into the moving truck in Everett and then unloaded everything in Kirkland. They paid special attention to the new wood floor in the condo and were careful not to scratch it up. They worked hard and did a very good job.

Contacted Aaron Glide to move my family from our 4 bedroom home in Seward Park to our 5 bedroom home in Issaquah Highlands. When I spoke to the owner on the phone, we discussed how much furniture I had and he gave me an estimate. He also gave me the number of a truck rental company that he works with. We arranged for his team to pick up the truck and drive it to my home. I must admit that the informal arrangement gave me a bit of pause but I shook off any doubts based on the stellar reviews. AG's estimate was much less than half what we were quoted by ACE Relocation. On the day of the move, they arrived promptly and moved our things carefully. The workers (which included the owner's son I believe) were courteous and ready to go. The move probably took an hour and a half longer than expected but we were not charged extra. I would definitely use them again.

The staff at Aaron Glide was very helpful during my initial call. They also confirmed arrangements that I subsequently made, and they checked in the day before. They met me as arranged and were waiting when I arrived. The two workers had all the equipment needed to do a very efficient move, and they were friendly and considerate in all our exchanges. Not a wasted moment as well as considerate and never rushed.

Really excellent service. We hired them to move our accumulations of 30 years into a storage facility as part of the preparation for our putting our house up for sale. They were excellent from beginning to end. When I called to set up the move, the person taking the call was very thorough in finding out exactly what we had to move and where, offering advice on how much space we would likely need as well as specifying the truck size that we should rent. They provided the movers, dollys, and furniture pads, and we provided a rental truck with ramp. Since we were not moving all of our things, they worked with us to understand what needed to move and what needed to stay. They were careful in transporting things and ask for specific direction on what should go where once we got to the storage facility. We made another trip with them to our son's house, 20 minutes away, where we were to store the piano. They worked hard, were courteous about providing the service, and did exactly as we asked. I have not one single suggestion or complaint for what could have been done differently. I will definitely hire them again when we move out of this house completely.

i rented the truck from Budget, as they provide liability ins in addition to collision, my auto ins does not cover vehicles above a certain GVW - even thou i was driving. workers were on time, efficient and knowledgeable on what/how to do. they were careful of wall/corner damage in the condo and also careful with my belongings. dispatch was helpful and covered all details. i would definitely use this company again - a very quick and stress free move ! Despite challenges with the destination's elevator and being on the top floor, the movers remained optimistic and courteous throughout the move. They were professional and did not damage any of my belongings. Chris (the owner) was easy to talk to on the phone when setting everything up. I would definitely hire Aaron Glide again.

It was a very good experience. They were on time and efficient. The price was reasonable.

Very happy with services performed. I had a rush move need; had to schedule the day before, and get out in one day and in to my new place (the joy of selling and buying in this market). They were quick to schedule, price was very fair. Had two guys out, rented my own UHaul. Overall, about 60% of the cost of a traditional moving service. The guys did a great job; moved very quickly and efficiently. Packed the truck well; protected everything and my furniture well. Had one small dent in my wood furniture out of the entire move (not bad, it's moving, something always happens). They brought all the protection equipment for furniture, hardwoods, etc. Would use these guys again for any heavy lifting or moving needs.

I needed a small local move ....some furniture in my garage to a local storage unit. I called Chris and he quoted me an approx amount and gave me $50 discount for being Angie's List member. Chris called me the day before to confirm all the details. Two young men met me at the U Haul office and drove the truck to my house, loaded it quickly and drove to storage unit where they unloaded and returned the truck. They were quick and professional and the final bill was exactly as per the quote . This is the best way to go for a local move. I will definitely use them again .

John, Lonnie, and Ben packed that pod beautifully without an inch to spare -- like a 3-D jigsaw puzzle. Absolutely phenomenal. They took great care of our stuff, and are great to work with. This is the second time we've used this particular crew. We will definitely be having them move our stuff out of the pod and into whatever home we end up moving to.

It was pretty close to perfect. We had to make two trips because the largest size truck we could rent was only 26 feet, and we filled that twice. But if we had gone with one of the big, full service companies with their massive semis, it would have been more than twice the price, and they probably would have had trouble getting the truck in and out of our property. Our crew was fantastic - Rick, John, and David (known as Tiny - big, strong football player type) all worked very hard, took care of our stuff, and had great senses of humour, patience, and awesome attitudes about everything. Our parents have used Aaron Glide for multiple moves over the years, and for sure, we will too next time we move (which hopefully, won't be soon - but since they've been in business for 26 years, I expect they will be there when we need them on down the road.) A+ work! AND, a discount for Angie's List members - WOOT!

Aaron Glide provides a highly professional and highly reliable moving service for people who like to save some money by doing some of the packing themselves. We have used them twice to move our whole house and our in-laws have used them once, all with the same exceptional results. We used Craigslist to get professional packing boxes for free and then packed our house. Aaron Glide provided us with reliable truck rental companies. On the day the showed up ahead of schedule with a full complement of packing blankets, dollies, straps, and resources. The truck was packed very professionally with the senior lead showing his years of experience. The team of 3 movers were extremely careful, wrapped everything very tightly, and showed great care getting them down the stairs. When I couldn't pick up the truck or drive it to the house due to work, their driver did it for us (at no additional charge since they are hourly anyways). When the last couple items didn't fit in the truck, one of the movers loaded up his pickup. When we decided to move a piano at the last minute, they magically had the right piano dolly and moved it like delicate crystal. Compared to bids of several thousand dollars for the same service, these guys are amazing.

The move went flawlessly. They arrived on time, efficiently packed up the truck and unloaded and placed everything exactly where I asked them to. Chris, the manager, could not have been more helpful and communicative. He answered all my questions and checked in the day before to confirm the time. I will definitely use this service again. It is a great value.

Fantastic ! fella on the phone was clear and did what he said he would do, the 2 young gentlemen(no bad language and very nice) were quick and careful. Wanted to do a report with their names but can't find the card. Will call them again when we need a hand.

They arrived at 9 am and had everything loaded by 11:30. I can't find the card with their names, but one guy stayed in the pod and loaded it very expertly while the other two brought the items out. Things were loaded very securely, and carefully. They were extremely careful with our stuff and were easy on the house as well. I plan to use them again in the near future.

The men were professional and very careful with my goods, nothing was damaged. They were courteous and I enjoyed the move. There were very friendly. There were four of them, so it went quickly. I would highly recommend them. The price was reasonable.

Overall, the move went pretty smoothly. I called Chris, the owner, several weeks in advance to book our moving date. We had a detailed conversation about what his guys would and would not do (i.e. you bring the truck or they can go pick one up for you if you want to pay forthe time), and I explained to him what my expectations were (professionalism, care with our things, etc). Chris is an upfront guy and seemingly honest businessman. The best part of the experience was the interaction with him. Their rate was very competitive, and he personally called a few days before the move to confirm the appointment, which was appreciated. On the actual moving day, we had several minor issues, which is why we are giving them a B grade. First, we were scheduled to have three guys move us from a 1500 sq ft townhouse to our new house a few miles away. About thirty minutes before we were expecting the movers, Chris called to tell me that one of the guys was not ready/not answering his phone and that they were scrambling to find another guy for the job. The other two movers would be approximately 30 min late. Although the lateness wasn't ideal, we were running late anyway so I wasn't that concerned. The first two movers ended up showing up 40 minutes after the call. Both guys were nice, professional, and worked very hard. We were impressed at the time they were making and appreciated their friendliness. Second, the hird mover showed up about thirty minutes later and we were less impressed with him. He was by far the slowest of the three, dropped several of our boxes (and was scolded by the others for not being careful), and just generally didn't have a great attitude. It's hard work but when people are paying this much money for the job, a certain level of respectable customer service is expected and hoped for. There were some slight discrepencies with the final bill but those were easily solved with the head guy on the job. Overall, I would recommend Aaron Glide as an efficienct and economical alternative to the typical white glove movers. The trunk rental is not a big deal and ends up saving you significant money if you're willing to put forth the effort.
